I was thoroughly impressed with Ballard CARSTAR. The staff were professional and very helpful, they provided updates appropriately, and managed the updates to my insurance company when my rental was needed longer than originally thought. Special shout out to Candace for being so knowledgeable about my Subaru!

Brought in my car per Sate Farms recommendation. They did a decent job repairing the scratch. However, they rashed a [less than a month old] wheel and damaged a piece of trim. So far they have been slow to resolve fixing the wheel and are trying to disavow themselves from responsibility for the trim. A thorough inspection was done on intake [blemishes that I did not even know I had were pointed out] yet when the obvious damage on the trim at checkout was pointed out they say it was not their fault. Insurance claim pics also bear this out. Irresponsible! General follow up to resolve these issues has been painful. I would avoid using this facility.

Needed a basic dent popped and respray on a rear hatch door. Went to pick it up and had paint runs and air bubbles. Other area was wet sanded but not cut and buffed. Had to wait another week to have it re done but still has paint blob at bottom edge. To be fair I’m sure it’s hard to find good help these days.

They do a superior job than any other body shop Ive been to. Over the years Ive used them three times at two different locations with the same results. They actually do a very very thorough washing and cleaning of the exterior of your car( they do this by hand!)

They were professional and timely. They gave me clear estimates on when my car would be ready, and they met those estimates. They gave my car back clean and looking great.

I needed a minor repair to one of the wheels on my car and Ballard Carstar was amazing as always! I was able to submit photos and get an estimate the same day. The repair itself was so quick and convenient! This is my third time coming to Carstar for repairs (from 3 separate accidents on my end- oops) and they always exceed my expectations in both the quality of service and kindness of employees! Hopefully I will not get in any more accidents, but if I do I will definitely come back here.

Fast, professional service. Vandals stole the catalytic converter from our Prius while it was parked in our driveway. CarStar had the vehicle turned around within one business day of receiving the car, and they took care of all the insurance paperwork. Hopefully I wont need this type of service again!

Graham and the team were fantastic to work with. Everyone was friendly and professional. They made it super easy for me to use my insurance (Geico) for the repair and my Enterprise rental was waiting when I dropped it off. I barely had to lift a finger during the whole experience. Best of all, my car looks fantastic. I wouldn’t hesitate to choose CarStar for any service need.

Not real great on communication but the work was absolutely solid. I had a bumper replaced and it took 6 days. Super easy to set up through insurance and reception, I would definitely go here again I would just spend more time talking about next steps with adjuster.

My front end was a ruffed from a fender/bender. Enterprise & Geico recommended me to Carpro Ballard. Graham was my service writer for the Dana age of my 4Runner. What do we all not love about being i a car accident!! The hassles. No hassles with Car Star. Car Star staff was caring, thoughtful, clear in describing what the process is and how they will communicate with you, me, in this case. I came as a frustrated person facing no car when I love my car for maybe 10 or more days. They have to inspect thoroughly for all kinds of damage which on visual inspection anyone might not see. While this means they may need the car longer this is important and necessary. I learned to enjoy walking and sometimes the bus!I was apprised of progress so I could understand what they were doing. I just came home in my beloved car and sat down to write this review right away. Thank you Ryan, and Car Star staff.

I went to CARSTAR Ballard via Geico’s express service. I didn’t know what to expect and was not sure how things will turn out. However, I was pleasantly surprised by my experience. Our car was Vandalized, the window was broken, seats damaged, and the paint scratched.Jay has gone above and beyond: He kept us up to date with the pieces and the works timing. He was honest and asked for our permission to use a part that didnt exactly match the original because it is not manufactured anymore; he was accomodating with timing to bring and pick up the car and answer all our questions.The car was returned clean and better than expected since they repaired the whole front seat leather instead of just focusing on the cuts that the glass had done.Overall this is a professional shop with excellent customer service.Thank you!

Ballard Collision handled my Safeco Insurance claim when my 2008 Honda Civic was declared a total loss. They were punctual, communicative and friendly. Even though I did not have to pay anything out of pocket, I was pleased with the service and edification they provided. When I have collision repair needs of my own in the future, I will think of Ballard Collision first.

I’ve had several occasions to use CarStar Ballard (which doesn’t mean good things about my driving luck) but they’ve been very timely and professional every time, and my car looks great still! They send a daily text to let me know their progress, and the jobs have all been completed on time. They’ve also accommodated my needs to drop off or pick up after hours, no problem. Highly recommend!

CarStar replaced a rear bumper on my 2013 Highlander. Work was performed well and quickly. Communication wasn’t great. I didn’t get a call as promised after dropping off my vehicle with an estimated time of completion so I had to call them for that. And they didn’t call the number we asked them to use when the vehicle was ready. But the quality of work was good and their ability to complete it quickly would be enough for me to recommend them and to use them again.

Easy to deal with. Upfront about any problematic situations, staff were all courteous (even the guy who appeared to be having a rough day, polite and completely accommodating toward the customer), and knowledgeable. I recommend this shop to anyone in need. Due to certain factors on parts availability they were upfront on the phone when I made the appointment (front desk receptionist knew the parts I needed were extremely hard to find) and told me they may not be able to fix my car. This shop was recommended to me, and the work Ive seen from here has been great. Solid business. Nuff said, see for yourself!

This is my second time using Ballard Carstar, and I cant complain about anything! This is an approved location through my insurance, so it is really convenient for me. They do the appraisal as well as the repairs. Super friendly staff, great repair job, and they even coordinate with Enterprise to pick you up and set you up with a rental car. They have finished my repairs earlier than estimated and are very flexible with scheduling and timing for drop off and pick up.
