BEST MACHINE SHOP IN TOWN, HANDS DOWN.
One of the best machine shops in the North West. Friendly and helpful staff that provide the best service and machine work. I highly recommend them for any machining services. They also have the tooling and capability to resurface dual mass flywheels. We take all of our customers engines and parts there for work and have had nothing but quality work.Greg @ S3Designs
I use Autosport for my motorcycle and automotive machining needs. These guys know their business, from vintage VW engines to 2-stroke motorbikes. All of the guys are friendly and helpful. They do more than just machine your parts; they let you know the tips and tricks on install them so you dont screw up your new parts. The vibe is good; each time I visit there are 2 or 3 customers just hanging out and chatting engines with the Autosport staff. I recommend this shop for custom machining jobs with no reservations.
Our # 1 choice for cylinder head work on European vehicles and Diesel trucks. Great communication and very friendly staff!
If there was one place in this town I would like to last for as long as I am around it would be Autosport. I just love these 3 guys. Knowledgeable, honest, clean hearts, technically correct, deserving, hard working, stand behind their work... They do all my Subaru, VW and motorcycle motor work and always will. And for any British made machine this is the place to go to.
After 5 years of being a customer, I cant condone using them for regular production work. Work quality has gone sharply downhill, and my shop sends them +5 heads a month for machine work, sometimes more. Everything I get back from them is filthy and has metal shavings, carbon, and paint flakes from other motors (what happens when you never change the water on your parts washer). when we pay extra to have the valves cut, we get a quicky 1 angle cut (substandard practice), combustion chambers left dirty, and grinder marks on the mouth of the ports. In the last 3 months have had engines sent down to have a crank replaced, and upon return the block deck was gouged and they refused to resurface it due to a water outlet location on the block, and told us to just use 4 coats of copper gasket spray. Weeks later we send another head down and it gets assembled with dirt and screwdriver marks in the cam journals. When confronted about damaging the motor, they said it probably wont do anything... Well maybe if you spend your career working on vintage British engines with tolerances 10x larger than a modern engine, thats ok... Not for me. The engines Im building have much tighter tolerances and do not have room to casually let dirt flow in the oil without damaging things. I also have the expectation that my parts will be repaired without further damaging it! Ive lost +40hours worth of downtime due over the past year due to the quality of their work, and I cant let that continue. I would have loved to see the attention to detail that they give the British motors, but I guess Ill never know.
I have a MGA that needed the more modern spin -on type oil filter adapter, however the new one from Moss needs some modifications to make it work correctly. John at Auto Sport machined the correct modification for the new oil filter adapter the day the part came in, I was able to drive the car the next day! Service and prices are great. I will always buy all my parts from Brad. Thanks
Have been doing business with Brad and Terry for many years, always provide great service and good pricing, a great team to have on your side.A pleasure to do business with.Jeff MaloneImport Autosport, Inc.

I know theres other shops in the world but seriously theses guys are the best. Everything is right...from Brad missing MAYBE 1 day of work in the last 15 years Ive been going into this place to the gentleman in the machine shop who gave me a 22r toyota head for free when mine was deemed too questionable for a rebuild. Thanks Autosport -youre the best.
I needed a part for my 03 540i, which the dealer didnt have in stock. Called autosport up, gave them the part number, and got a call back in 1.5 hours. They sourced the part, and it was half of the dealers price. I highly recommend autosport, and will definitely be coming back.
