I have used Glendale Heating since I moved into my house that has oil heat 6 years ago. They were fine. A bit unpredictable with filling and a $500 price tag each time, but it was fine. I am switching to a more green alternative and getting a heat pump but needed them to measure the oil I have and give me a few months if needed. They refused and we’re not helpful. They could care less if my family has no heat. Minimum 100 gallons and they will not let me know what is left in the tank. Get a heat pump and don’t deal with Glendale. It is sad but true.

This was great! Ray was a great person to work with. He came on time and was super friendly. We are new home owners and had an AC there that looked as though it hadnt been turned on in a really long time. Ray ran me through everything, explained all of the gadgets he was using to test it, and gave me lots of great advice to keeping everything working well. I cannot say enough great things about Glendale! We had trouble even finding someone to service and repair our oil furnace before selling our home, but Glendale did! Woody came out, crawled under the house, repaired our issue, serviced the furnace and even took before/after photos and a video (while also giving us a detailed receipt) showing us the repair he completed for us to send to our new home buyer. Helpful staff and connected to a polite after hours consultant. They have never arrived in the estimated window so plan for the whole day and maybe next morning… they will stay as long as they need to make sure all problems are resolved (even if they are in addition to the one you made the appointment for) so it’s worth it.

I have worked with this company three times in the last 12 months and each time has been a high quality experience from the phone call to the visit. Glendale heating puts the customer first and whether it is good news or bad their honesty and transparency is refreshing. The tech calls when they are on their way an arrive when they say they will. The person on the phone is always pleasant and knowledgeable.

Woody serviced our furnace today and did a great job. He was very friendly and was filled with information about the oil furnace system. I will certainly use this company again in the future.

Had Glendale come in an replace a bad gas valve. Technician came and was very professional and knowledgeable. He quickly confirmed the diagnosis and replaced the part and our heating was working again in no time. Pricing was fair and everything was easy. I will call them again!

New to me house with an old gas furnace. Had a tech come to check it out and see if it was safe to fire up. He pulled out the burners, found rust and said it wasnt safe to fire it up. Told me the parts would be expensive (~$1k) if available at all and better off getting a new unit. Told me a salesman would follow up to get a quote for replacement. Month later and Ive never heard from the salesman but I did find the needed part for $100. Problem is I dont know if anything else is wrong as he stopped looking even though I paid for a full diagnostic. Bummer since they are about 5 blocks away but Ill be using someone else from now on.

I have not had any issues with Glendale heating.They have promptly replied to every email I have sent, inquiring thoughtfully about if I have any customer service needs, it is for these reasons I will be a long time customer of their heating fuels and would recommend it to anybody in need of heating, or cooling, fuels, or service and maintenance..

I have been using Glendale for over 10 years, first for annual maintenance of my hot water heater and furnace and then for a full replacement of the entire system that was over 20 year old. They did an amazing job. The personnel there is great to work with.

Scheduled an appointment to get our furnace serviced and after waiting three weeks the big day arrives. The tech makes a big deal about how busy they are setting up new furnaces. Checks ours out, says every looks good but we could stand to call someone to do a vent cleaning. Seems reasonable, then he leaves and the house starts to get cold. We confirm its on the heat cycle, try to manually bump it up and still nothing. Then the whole system dies.No air flow, no heat. And now when we try to call about it the first thing they do is argue if we actually had an appointment yesterday.

Right on time even though they are very busy right now, I thought for sure I was going to need to replace my nearly 40 year old furnace because it wasnt doing anything, they had it repaired within a half hour! I am so grateful! I would highly recommend them, my family has used them for many generations, though this is the first time I have had to have a furnace repair.

Feb-2021, ask Glendale to diagnose my HVAC for no heat. The technician was efficient in finding the problem ($99 for finding problem) but did not ask for my permission to replace the faulty parts (the ignitor). He charged $195 for the parts, when Amazon sells it for $5 ~ 15.Next I told him to check the heat pump, also for no heat. I specifically ask him to only diagnose. This guy did not hook up any meter or device to the heat pump but told me there is no refrigerant in the system. He charged $99.That total was $432. Quite honestly, I should have kicked him out on the first $99.When he found out I have a camera recording the whole time, he said he need to go to next appointment and left quickly.I do not recommend using this business.

I used them to get a regular service for my unit, and also diagnose a weird noise that the ductless unit was making. The man that came to check out the unit was not prepared with a tall enough ladder to check the outside unit, despite the fact they said it was included in the maintenance. Inside the house, he just dusted the filter and thats it. He told me that the problem with the noise was the blower wheel, I waited a bit to replace it, but called to get the part ordered. The same man came to do the replacement, and he told me this time that it wasnt the blower wheel that was causing the noise. He was rude and said hed just leave then when I told him thats not what he had told me last time. I called Sarah, the front desk person, and all I go was an ok... sorry about that. Stay away from this company, theyll do a meh job and be rude about it.

We used their emergency call line to ask for help restarting our furnace, and they were SO helpful and patient!

So the appointment was they said between 8AM and noon. About 12:30 I called to see if I was still on the service list for the day. The technician lied and said he called me but not a good working number, while he was here I had him call me just fine same number. Their customer service is terrible and I got overcharged on labor. The only good thing was the technician did a good job fixing what the problem was. I called back to question the invoice and the math, if I was not a oil customer I would have got charged like $40 less in labor. He asked for my credit card COD even though it was to go on my account. Their oil delivery is really good but customer service is the worst I have seen in a very long time.

I cant possibly describe how happy I have been with Glendale from day one all the way through completion of the job. Communication was flawless, the price was very fair, and everyone from the scheduler to the estimator to the installers was great! GH&AC installed my furnace three years ago. I am very happy with the installation and the furnace. I recently ran out of heating oil 🤦🏻‍♂️. After refilling the tank, the furnace would not produce heat. GH&AC sent Woody over to have a look. He did a great job of fixing my furnace and charged me a very reasonable fee. If you’re looking for old-fashioned service, look no further.

New oil furnace install in a rental house. Went well, no glitches, price was right, people were in and out and professional in their duties. As a follow up tenant called me two months later and said the new furnace was not working - blowing cold air - Glendale came out that evening and replaced faulty nozzle at no charge to me. Highly recommended.

I called Glendale for a third opinion on a repair on my Lennox heat pump several years ago. The serviceman gave me a much clearer explanation of the problem and the different recommendations to resolve the problem. The estimate was even 25-35% less than the other two estimates. I allowed them to repair the heat pump and no problem since plus I’ve signed up for a annual maintenance check. From a satisfied customer.

Glendale was our oil company for an old oil furnace for several years. We moved to a different house and kept them because we like their service. They replaced our (very!) old furnace quickly and for a reasonable price. Technicians were nice and got the job done quickly, considering they had to completely dismantle our old furnace and drill through our brick wall. They helped us with the permit and explained how to follow up with the city for inspection. Great service!

Had air duct cleaning done by Glendale Heating & Air Conditioning and they did a great job. Technicians were so friendly and professional and explained how it worked and asked if we needed anything else checked out while they were here. They showed up on time and got everything set up and done within 25 minutes. I would definitely recommend this company!

I had injured my ankles, and while I was recovering I ran out of oil.I was supposed to be on a contract with another company, and I looked them up and immediately saw a review that stated the same thing, and neither of us could reach them by phone.I called Glendale and I had oil delivered in one hour.Its scary when you cant walk and your home becomes so cold. It was also a Friday, and I was VERY worried I may have to be without heat for the weekend, or go to the hospital.Erika, the representative I spoke to was so nice. She cheerfully took care of everything.I called, I spoke to a human that was only a few miles away at Glendale. I couldnt believe how reassuring it was to know that, and be able count on a family business in your own neighborhood.

They were quick to service my needs with the furnace. They came out the next day from my initial call and gave me an acceptable 2nd opinion from another company that came earlier that week. I was also able to get a price quote for parts and service later that same day. I was also able to meet with a sales person within a day or two of calling. All in all I had great service from office staff, technicians and sales reps. Everyone was fast to service.

I think that Glendale offers absolutely the best team of air conditioner installation experts! From my initial consultation through their bid, scheduling, measuring, fabrication, installation, and testing of our new air system, each person I met was professional, courteous, cheerful, and efficient. They also brought in electricians who provided expert service. Their price to do my challenging installation was quite competitive but it was the excellent service that was the best kind of bonus for me. They did a great job when they replaced my furnace a few years ago and have done excellent annual services on it. Im so glad that I talked to them when I was ready to add an air conditioning.

When our 22 year old heat pump finally decided to quit we had no doubt who to call to replace it. Glendale Heating has serviced it for all those years very well. Sales consultant Debra went over multiple Lennox heat pump options with us. She always responded to our inquiries very promptly even after hours and was very pleasant and knowledgeable. The communication with her was an absolute breeze. The installers Brian and Zeke were also awesome. They worked very efficiently and their knowledge about installed equipment was evident and undoubted. Our house is very unique and the placement of indoor and outdoor unit is not typical or usual. They had to overcome multiple challenges that included limited space for new indoor unit and bringing new line set and electric power circuit into the house. They handled everything with the utmost confidence and kept us informed about the installation progress or possible modifications. Yuri completed work, fired the system off and showed us how to use Nest smart thermostat. The entire Glendale Heating team and everybody who participated in our heat pump replacement project was very courteous, honest and professional. Our new heat pump is super quiet and very efficient. The air quality in the house has improved tremendously and we have noticed it within two days. We now regret that we did not listen to Glendale Heating when they suggested we should start thinking about replacing it several years ago. We are confident that our new heat pump will serve us well for many years to come. Perhaps for another 22 years. Kudos to Glendale Heating for their excellent work ethics.

I am a loyal home heating oil customer with Glendale since 2007. Ever since they performed a modification to our furnace return air ducting, I have not purchased one drop of heating oil elsewhere ! Truly great service and thanks Glendale and gang !Glendale Heating is a family run business I admire and continue to do business with ever since we installed our highly-efficient clean burning Thermopride fuel oil furnace in 2007.Of all heat sources in mother nature, oil heat is the most pleasant warmth to feel on cold Seattle days--probably because oil has 140,000 BTUs per gallon while gas has 100,000 (plus oil burns 400 degrees hotter!)Oil heat nowadays is as pollution-free and clean burning as natural gas-and is far safer than gas. Many old homes in Seattle that have insulation properly installed and newer oil furnaces have incredible energy savings and no pollution. Our own modest home uses so little oil each year to heat, on the order of 250 gallons.But whatever your own preferences are for your familys warmth, you owe it to yourself to involve Glendales guidance and experience.

Recently bought a house which, for the first time for me, came with central air and heat. I requested a basic service and asked that the serviceman teach me some of the basics about cleaning the filter and answer some questions I had about how the controls work. He did a thorough job and patiently answered all the questions I had. I will use Glendale Heating and Air for any further service needs.

Incompetent is how I would describe Glendale Heating. Scheduled service over a week ago only to have the technician show up today and announce he had no idea how to service our boiler. He then promptly left without performing the scheduled service. This was especially frustrating as I took the day off work. Glendale had serviced our home twice before without issue. Most alarming was the total lack of contrition or even an apology from the Glendale management. If you value online reviews I highly suggest taking your business elsewhere. We plan to tell all our friends about our experience with Glendale Heating. Caveat Emptor!Heres my response to Gendale Heating: At no point during our conversation today did you offer any apology. In fact you were quite defensive on the phone muttering something about we dont offer that service... even though youve been to our home twice to service our system. Your claim that you found us an alternative service is completely false. I found (on my own) a company that specializes in servicing our boiler. Not only did you fail to service our system today (and waste my time) you have asserted a falsehood. This speaks volumes about Glendale Heating and serves as a warning to potential customers that your company should be avoided at all costs. #FAIL

The technician was so pleasant and respectful of my home and he worked quickly. He even came back later when I thought there was another problem with my furnace. We have always had a good experience with Glendale heating and always call them for all my heating needs .I would recommend this company to my friends and family.

They have fixed some long time problems we were having with our oil furnace smoking, and having fuel smells in the house. Response is fairly quick when we have called about a problem. The annual inspection helps to keep the furnace trouble free now.

Since I switched from the big guy in town I have been beyond happy with Glendale, they are experts at repairing my oil furnace and I LOVE my auto fill program with annual maintenance, no more furnace worries from me. On top of it, everyone at Glendale is incredibly friendly!

I have been a long time customer and I have always been satisfied with the service. Timely oil delivery and furnace servicing is something I have never had to worry about.

Called them about my furnace intermittently working, they sent a technician out to look over it and diagnose the problem $98.55.Quote to replace the gas valve, $449.65. I asked how long, the technician said a few days to get the part and that the shop would be calling me. I said go ahead, I have a baby, so I need to keep the house warm. A week later, no call yet!I decided to order the part online ($65.00 plus $20 to expedite the shipping). 3 days later, still no call, I get the part and it took me 45 minutes to replace the gas valve myself. I give 2 stars because the technician was pretty awesome.

My new to me house has an old oil furnace, and I called Glendale to come out. The tec, Ron, came and out and did what he could and was very detailed in explaining how old the furnace was and how parts are hard to find if at all. With that understanding I agreed that he should only do what may not damage seals and gaskets. Knowing it was old and out dated I also scheduled a consultation to get a replacement furnace as well. The consultant came out and advised of my options. At this time the furnace was still working. About two weeks later the furnace started having delayed ignition issues and making some black smoke. I called Glendale back to see about having someone come out and see if it could be adjusted as they had already let me know the part was no longer made or available from their vendors. I scheduled a visit with the front office people who said the tec could come back out under the original cost of the service to see if it could be adjusted. We scheduled the date as my wife and I were regulated to using a small space heater as the furnace was out of commission. I arranged to work fr home that day as well. The service day comes and the tec calls to talk to me about the furnace. He then tells me there would be an additional service fee. I explain the office people who scheduled this said it would be covered under the original cost. The tec said well they are office people and not tec people, there would be a charge. So I cancelled the appointment. While the service tec team have great experience and are knowledgeable, and the parts buyer was nice as well, and the front office and replacement consult people were great to speak with, there seems to be a lack if internal communications at the company that is off putting. Since we need a furnace we will look at getting it replaced and we are hesitant to go with Glendale for their apparent communications issues.Update - Sarah from Glendale called me to straighten things out. I truly appreciate the pro activeness of that gesture in assuring me of how things are at the company.
