Whatever you do not buy a car or extended warranty here, they will push you into any vehicle they can and the warranty is AWFUL. You can only have it serviced at their shop and even when you make an appointment with them to have it serviced they tell you they don’t know if they will be able to get to it that day after you drop it off. Why make an appointment then!? The warranty takes days to approve any claim leaving you without a vehicle even if it was drivable prior to dropping it off and only covers 3 days of rental, if they order the wrong part and you have to extend the rental you’re just sol because it’ll be on you. No accountability or care about their customers or the time they waste just the $$$. We’re in the market for a new vehicle since ours is almost paid off and I definitely won’t be using Selma Auto Mall!

Our experience at Selma Auto Mall was exceptional! We were interested in a truck they advertised online and when we arrived the truck was parked out front and Anthony G. was immediately available for a test drive. My wife and I both test drove the truck. It was what we were looking for and we were very interested. We had a few minor issues with the truck and they immediately worked out a plan to fix those issues. Anthony and whole gang answered all our questions and were very interested in the making a fair deal on both sides. We ended up buying the truck and are very satisfied! I was very impressed with the professionalism and friendliness of Anthony G. and the whole crew. Dishonest- the usual tricks. I found a car on their website. I called ahead to verify that it was actually on the lot. Made an appointment. Dragged my wife, 1yr old and 4yr old down to see it. They greeted me and immediately started talking about looking at a different car. Cant see that car because blah, blah, blah.

I was looking at the reviews I’ve made over the past several years, and noticed that my review of this company got deleted. 🤔I had such a bad experience with them that I think it is important to repost. I had called about 2 years ago regarding a Honda Hybrid that I wanted due to my truck breaking down unexpectedly. I called Selma Honda and Honda of Clovis. Clovis Honda made me a deal I couldn’t refuse literally over the phone. When Selma Honda called me back, I politely informed them that I had a car. I was then yelled at and berated by a member of the sales team for buying from someone else. I work in upper level management and 9 times out of 10 this behavior is a reflection of the culture of the organization. If I am going to drop 30-40k on a vehicle I want to at least be treated fairly. This place is an absolute waste of time, go somewhere else. At Clovis Honda they were fair in price and literally catered to me from the second I started talking to them.
Went to look for a Kia Carnival, they had one and Joe the salesman was very nice and cooperative but unfortunately Isaiah the sales manager was very rude and condescending. Msrp on the vehicle was $39,200 and he told us no way we could get payments lower than $850. When I pointed out that this would add up to over $64,000 over the agreed term, he simply showed us the door for us to leave.

We had every intention of purchasing a car there. Even though the dealers are separate they are the same, so we were told. The salesmen promise you the world and cannot deliver on anything. They tried the old bait and switch. A tactic they are horrible at. Mostly because the left hand doesn’t know what the right hand is doing. Also they made promises to my active military son they could not keep and were not helpful to his situation at all. I know the market is easy sales right now but I have never seen a group of such lazy dishonest people assembled in one place as here.
Today I purchased a Mazda CX-5 from Jose Torres at the Mazda dealership in Selma! I highly recommend him as a salesperson he was very knowledgeable about all the vehicles my husband and I looked at. I started looking for a vehicle on Saturday and came back on Monday.He came in on his day off to help us on Monday with a vehicle. He went above and beyond by taking not one but two vehicles out of the showroom so that we could drive and feel the difference on the power behind the car. Bought 2017 Hyundai Elantra from Selma Auto and before I put 1000 mi on it, car started making grinding/popping noise and check engine light came on. It took 3 weeks to get appointment. I was told once car had been inspected that part would be there in 3 days and I would get car back in 3 to 4 days. A week later, after being told part was still not there, I spoke to service manager who actually made progress and I finally got car fixed and back. After not having car for a month, two weeks after getting my car back, car started shaking hard while at a light and check engine light came back on. At least this time I was told about Hyundai roadside assistance so I didn’t have to pay another $130 to get car towed back to Selma Hyundai. Wish they had told me about the Hyundai roadside assistance when I bought car or at least when i called for 1st repair appt. I was told yesterday car would be checked out that day but when i called, they had not been able to do that. At this point, my Selma Auto experience has been less than pleasant.
I received excellent service, but the vehicles are overpriced compared to other dealerships. I recently bought a Silverado 10k more than the dealership in Visalia, California. I recommend this looking at other dealerships before coming here if you want a fair deal.

I bought a truck there less than two weeks ago and the wheel is completely diagonal and looks like it’s going to fall off, that stability control system and the antilock breaking system is messed up on top of a leak found underneath. The sales rep pushed me into getting this truck and it’s not even safe.

Hi, I am writing about Selma KIA. I have a appointment for 2018 Chevrolet on 05/23 Thursday at 10 am. I talked at least 10 times with sales person Sammy and his manager Eric. Also I emailed them couple times and we already talked about price and everything. I came this morning little bit early around 9 am and went into inside the dealership. They told me that they are vacuuming the car and in 10 min car is gonna be ready and I said that’s ok I am waiting. And 10 mins later they bring the car like that. You can see the pictures. I set up appointment on Monday for Thursday and yesterday I called them and check if the car still available because I am coming from Menlo Park which is 3 hours drive. When I saw the car I just shocked!! I never this kind of thing in my life. I trust the dealer because they are selling under the KIA company! And we one more thing; on the website list the mileage was 31,948 but when they are showing the car mileage is 34,489. Basically just want to say STAY AWAY from them!!!

Funny I wrote a review a year ago and its now deleted? Do NOT purchase a vehicle here, they have the worst customer service. I was overcharged and didnt get the Costco discount I was promised. I purchased from the Chevrolet dealership. I did inform Costco and I hope they find another dealership to do business with. I have stopped 2 people from going to buy a car here since my mistake of doing business with them.

Please go somewhere else. First I can say the sales people are very nice. Now when it comes down to the manager trying to help you make a deal. What I can say to help you dont let the Chevrolet manager help you. He tried to tell us that he bought a truck for 59,000 and at the end with finance, taxes and everything it came out to 102,000. First that is a lie. No way you are getting a truck and paying double. Then after all he was mad at us. First make sure you go somewhere they actually care and want to make a good deal. Not where they want to rip you off. I just want you to be aware especially as a women you want to be treated equally and this wasnt equal treatment. I believe because we were all women he though he can over price us.

Looked around the lot for a while before I got some help and only after I called from my phone I got someone to approach me. When I finally did get help, I got the worst representative. Told this guy my price range and he tried to up sale me. During the test drive he tried to up sale me again. The car was as good as sold but the experience was just terrible so they will not be earning my business. Hope others will get a better experience.
Went in to the Honda dealership in Selma Auto Mall to purchase a car for the very first time, Victor and Bruce were both huge helps as I had never even been in a dealership before let alone bought a vehicle. They got me a great deal and it was a smooth process. i would highly recommend visiting them here when you are ready to make your next car purchase or lease!

The Chevrolet Service Department is horrible. They’ve had my car do over a week and it’s so hard to get any information about it. I’m always calling and the service manager says he’ll call me back with an update but never does. When I call to check on my car, he tells me it will be ready tomorrow. If you want your car service complete in a timely manner DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR TO THE CHEVROLET SERVICE DEPARTMENT.. The service department manager sucks at his job. They should be calling me with updates about my car!
Called Tuesday and I was able to bring in vehicle on Thursday for an oil change. Very friendly staff I felt really comfortable asking questions.
When we went looking here for a car, we wanted something like a Honda pilot. We got there right before it got dark. Been looking all day. When we got there a sales man names Agent Cody Banks helps up out. We told him what we wanted and he was very patient with us. With everything we needed to accommodate our kids and us, this car wasnt for us. We told him we need to sleep on it. He called us in the morning and asked if we slept on it. We told him we decided to stick with a mini van. And he found us the right van fully loaded and at a great price. It was a very great and stress-free car shopping experience. It was great.!!! And everyone had mask on. And they had hand sanitizer everywhere. They also have access to all the car lots out there, we didnt have to go to each one. We got a used car, and after taking it we found a oil leak. Our insurance didnt cover car rentals. So they cover a car rental for us till our van was fixed. They took care of us. Thank you Agent Cody Banks 😁 WE LOVE OUR VAN.. highly recommend this place.

Once I got into Rudy’s office for the finals steps of taking a new car home, Rudy helped me understand better when signing documents and saved me quite a bit on monthly payment! Just make sure you read the details on EVERYTHING you’re purchasing along with the car and you’ll be good.

COVID-19 updates:I made sure I had an appointment like always just to make sure my wait time was shorter. Upon arrival I did see that everyone was masked and they were using social distancing in the waiting room. Service employees are considerate and respect personal space. They greeted me and got straight to work.In the waiting area, free beverages are currently disabled and free cookies are gone too to avoid germ travel. I felt pretty safe waiting. All areas were clutter free and clean. They have signs posted that they do offer hand sanitizer readily available to those needing some. I have been coming to Selma Honda for my service needs for years and will continue to do so.

Called before hand to see a specific car, which they ensured they had in stock. I drove 30 mins there and the car that was showed to me was older than my current car and wasnt even the model I asked to see. Your staff needs to be trained on the differences of entirely different generations of a car and the specs that a customer specifically asked was in stock at your location. A 2016 mazda hatchback is NOT the same as the 2021 mazda 3 turbo hatchback in manual.

Eh. They made it extremely hard to negotiate prices and honestly, it felt like they made me run circles. They made us deal with like three different people and they all seemed extremely nervous for some reason, it was weird and gave bad vibes. First time buyer and probably won’t be going back because I got absolutely no incentives or discounts. Next time I know what to look for in a dealership and sales person. Finance Manager or whoever the heck you sign papers with likes to talk a lot and use humor to distract you from the papers you are signing. Noticed that he would interrupt me when i was trying to read the stuff I was signing or had questions. It was almost like he was trying to distract me. Now I realize it’s cuz he was adding unnecessary optional items that he didn’t want me to look into too much. Make sure you get the anti theft system taken off, it comes with every vehicle. Don’t need it if you already have full coverage insurance. Honesty, you could just put your own gps on the car lol. I want to feel more excited about my new car but i’m pretty sure I got played lol. Not saying they weren’t nice, buuut they don’t like to negotiate at all. Hope this honest review helps at least one person even if I did get screwed in the end. Not all of us have people who know about dealerships tactics to make more money.Edit: Go somewhere else if you plan on leasing. Make sure you ask for maintenance to be added on your lease lol. Now I know more for the next time I get a new car. Oh well live and learn.

So to be honest I was told good things about this dealership which is why I called them inquiring about a vehicle they had. I was speaking with an associate there and he was extremely rude. I dont have the best credit at the moment and they reminded me of that constantly. They told me that after looking for someone to finance me people were turning me down with no hesitation Im not sure what the point of telling me that was but they gave me an offer...a horrible one and made it seem as though I should be happy to even get it. When I tried to negotiate pricing the guy went on about how he had to talk to people all day to get me this deal I mean Im terribly sorry that you had to do something thats part of your job description. In the end Im glad it didnt work out. Me and my bad credit went elsewhere and got a car I love and with a MUCH cheaper monthly payment so thank you for that 😊
