Shawnee Atwoods has left so much to be desired of late. This use to be my go to place when I needed items for the livestock or farm.....Now, I walk in and most of the help is young and has very poor customer service skills; they certainly do not want to be bothered with anything.Come on Atwoods...lets remember what your companys merits were built around; making the working man/womans life a bit easier, not sighing and rolling your eyes because you have to help someone.

As soon as I walked in the store, I was asked to leave my backpack at the counter. Keep in mind its not a actual backpack its a sports backpack and im using it as a purse. So I went back to the car to leave it in there.

Bought chicks less than a day ago. Woke up this morning to a dead chick. Called Atwoods they have no guarantee at all. Refuse to replace or refund. Do yourself a favor go to tractor supply. Three day guarantee and good customer service.

Great place. Out of stock on some things. Call before you go. I will definitely continue to shop here.

Love Atwoods. Only complaint is there is only 1 motorized shopping cart in the store. When I take my Dad there shopping I find 5 handicapped parking places and only one car in the store. . Please correct this inconvenience.

Great experience. Bought a new pole saw and the employee went well over my expectations on showing me every detail of the saw. And on top of that, they sell rabbits!!!

Good for your farm supplies or clothes, small animals even good buys on food products. People are very friendly, help full if you can get hold of someone!! This why is why I gave them 4 stars. Im one of those people who do need help. Other than that, its a good place!

Would have given 5 stars except they dont ever call or email you when your online order is ready. Great once I called, confirmed and went down to get order. Not sure why they offer such a service if they DONT actually understand how to do it...

Meh. Called ahead and I live a hour away. Asked if they had good heavy duty railroad beams. Not the falling apart deteriorated ones. They supposedly go and check for about 15 minutes. The guy said oh yeah we moved the lighter falling apart ones aside and there are hundreds of perfect 10 footers (which I knew theyd be 8.5 long but w/e) for $17.94. So I drive and when I arrive I see the most sorry excuse for wood. These were probably a hundred years old. There was literally one that was in a good condition and outweighed all the others by almost double. I went in and said I found the scrap throw away pile where are the good ones. Guy comes out and acts confused, says oh I thought you were talking about these... I look over and its METAL T Post! Which there were only a few of those anyway and all bent up. I was polite and just left but they were obviously confused to be nice.

They had a good deal on a zero turn mower. But on the other hand, they dont carry the variety of products they once did. They carry high-end clothes such as Ariat and Cinch, but not Dickies anymore.

Best damn Atwood I been to in a while. Had all the parts we needed.

Bought this gorilla wagon at Atwoods for $175.00 including tax. The same wagon at Lowes was $189.00 befor tax. Whos the big BOX store now.

The selection was ok BUT waited at check out for literally 24 minutes and there were only 3 people in line in front of me. They had a second line open but that person “was in training “ and apparently could not be trusted with cash, so that line was only good for cards. What made it worse is the girl running the “cash” line taking forever was in management. It got so bad the man second in line just told her to keep the change cause he didn’t want to wait even longer. We talked to the manager but nothing was done. I hope they correct the issue.

Looking for some specific catfishing supplies... they had it in stock..very helpful store.

An old staple, all the people act like they have more impotent things to do than be there, but if you can get one cornered they are usually always very helpful and nice. Very few mowers but not their fault no one has them as Manufacturing shut down for COVID.

Atwoods has just about anything for the handyman jobs in and around the house. I love the clothing department also. Country folks or city folks the people that work there are knowledgeable and helpful in finding the items to fix anything you may be interested in doing.

Very lazy staff. Some one smile. Rude people should be get some happy.

Atwood had what I needed and checked me out quick even though it was busy. Also dropped my phone and they had it at customer service. No complaints. Good place to shop and will return.

One of the best stores around. Has pretty much anything you would need. Some of the staff have poor customer service however. If you hate your job and hate people dont work in a public business.

The sales ad I received today only had the price for a chest freezer . I called today to get more details.The first person I spoke to tried to connect me with someone in housewares, after waiting, no luck. Then after explaining what information I needed. She tried to get me to the manager, again I waited and waited . No luck. Another person picked up,(sounded like the person I talked to earlier) and I again stated what information I needed, and then she stated she would try and get me to the manager. I then said that someone else had already tried getting the manager, and nevermind the phone call was more trouble than its worth. I hung up. It seems to me the only person working was whoevers answering the phone, and should know how to access the information. I wont be making any future purchases from there if the business is run that way

Had an associate named Shawn tell us he would go in back and find an item for us because they showed they had the item in the back. He left and never came back. We searched the store after 10 mins and found all the associates grouped around the break room. They didnt even bother to check just told us no they didnt have it.Several associates and a manager where in front of a case organizing, they jumped up and ran when we started asking Shawn for help. They left the trash from the case in the floor and left the case unlocked.Worst retail experience in years.Never saw Shawn again, hope he is ok.

Being a red neck, I have to say I could browse through here most of the day. Most of the plants they have remaining are dead or dying. But alot of the chain stores plants are now. I think the heat hasnt helped them any. We bought some salted peanuts in the shell, and some bedding for the critters. They have better prices than walmart on those things. Also bought a few tudes of red and tacky grease, and a few other things. After 2 hours, I had to start black mailing my wife in order to get her to leave. But in all fairness, she usually has to do it to me. I wish they had better prices on their stihl products. Would love to have a new chain saw and weed eater. But I will probably buy them from amazon or the likes.This location in shawnee is not as well maintained as most of their other stores. Buy that, I mean they dont seem to have all the inventory Ive seen at others. But its probably due to the Covid. Seems everything is now a days.

The cashiers are always so unfriendly and usually only one or two registers open. Long wait to make a purchase with employees who seem bothered to do their job.

Usually a great place to shop. Could not find what I was looking for nor could I locate someone to assist me. I never had this problem on previous visits.

They need to have a group learning session where their cashiers are trained adequately in customer service and behavior.

Customer service was less than satisfactory. The employee acted like they didnt care about our needs. Then the cashier was stuck with a line of 11 people alone to take care of the customers and phone calls. Its really going down hill.

Always loved it up until here recently...employees are getting lazy and wont help or dont even know theyre own store

Atwoods is a farm & ranch type store. They have lots of parts and supplies you might need around the farm or house. This includes some medicines for your animals, feed, lawn mowers, lawn furniture, fencing panels, baby geese, ducks, chicks, etc. They also carry western style apparel, boots, and other misc items. We like that they have a pretty good selection of old time candies & sodas. Obviously they dont have everything, but its a pretty good place to check first.

Today, was not a good day for Atwoods. How do you have a Farma and Ranch store but not have a single shovel available to buy?? Thats the only thing that drives me nuts, when I end up having to drive to another place to get the exact item that the first place should have had!!

Before I went there, my cousin said it was like Wal-Mart for country folk. Pretty good descriptation. Pretty good prices. If you like the county fair, then you wont mind the smell.

Dont go off the website for things in stock. Call 1st! My parents just drove an hour for pellets that were not in stock. The website said that had 101 bags in stock. PLEASE CALL FIRST!

This place has a little bit of everything. When spring comes, they usually have a wonderful selection of plants and veggies and priced well. I will stop in here sometimes just to pick up the bulk cinnamon bears. I like the FR clothes as well.

Did not have the deck belt for the lawn mower I have, but the person in the department was knowledgeable about the ones they did carry.Good place for shots for pets. Will go back soon.
