Very disappointed... I asked a day in advance.. was the car still available? Was told yes.. they were not open on Sunday, drive down today 1hr away, get there.. and they say its been sold, it just happened, was a cash sale, online, out of state. Car is still posted on their website as we speak??? Was going to pay cash. Never again!!! emailing for days about the car, response from general manager on yesterday, it was still available. Received an email this morning, was I still interested. No bank open today to do that type of cash transfer... makes me wonder? Will never go back to this dealership, my time is valuable..they couldve emailed me and said no longer available, have a cash offer. Instead of wasting my time and gas!!!

Terrible Experience !!!! WHATEVER YOU DO, DO NOT sign any contracts with this company before getting an attorney to look over the contract. ALL THE WAY FROM GREENVILLE SC, I just recently bought a car on April 10. My first official big girl purchase at the age 20 and I was excited, and nervous because I was alone. I had it for 3 weeks signed and agreed to the contract of the payments. On the following Friday the dealership called me up there to sign another paper for the car but when I got there it was a whole new contract with a higher payment amount they were making me sign. I felt forced to sign the contract and they told me to bring the old contract back so they could shred it. I called them the same day and told them I didn’t want the car. I also called both lenders on the both contracts they both had said they hadn’t gotten the contract yet so the dealership should be able to refund me but they won’t. I put down $9,000 and they are trying to keep it ! The original contract was a lower price than the new contract. I was alone when I purchased my car let alone my First big girl purchase at the age of 20 and this dealership just cons me out of my hard earned $9,000. Every since I contacted the dealership about making arrangements to return the car and my FULL REFUND they refused me and told me to refinance the car and pay the $520 car payments. They refused to talk to me anymore once I mentioned a lawyer for the manipulation of these contacts. I have reached out to the Better Business Bureau, The NC consumer affairs and also gotten an attorney. The dealership has not responded yet to either of them that is trying to make arrangements on my behalf and it has been almost a month. Do Not Work with this business! That would be my first and LAST time. P.S. they put FREE ADVERTISEMENT ON THE CAR for their company !

We purchased a Jeep Wrangler in July of 2020 from Iconic. Outward appearance it looked good, had decent mileage and was already dressed out how we would want it. Or so we thought. It’s been nothing but a lemon. After getting it home we quickly realized we were had. From electrical issues to improper installation of lifts to the quick cover up of rust on bumpers and step sides that had paint overspray on the Jeep body. I would never recommend them to anybody. We’ve now poured $3000 into a 2016 that was touted as a “solid” vehicle. Definitely saw our newness to Jeep ownership and took full advantage. Lesson learned! Not a great pic of the overspray but alas it’s there.

The easiest and fastest time I’ve ever brought a car. I came all the way from Rocky Mount,NC to purchase a vehicle which I’m absolutely in with. They made the process so easy. Thanks again to all the staff. Absolutely would buy from them again.

I found the car I really wanted in their inventory, right away I requested info and applied for financing. They very quick in responding with the info and got me approved right away. The next day I hopped on a plane and flew over there from Houston, Tx and drove back in my new car. Absolutely a great staff and very helpful with the process, I definitely recommend them for anyone looking for a high quality pre-owned vehicle at a great deal!

I am updating this review. I was in the process of purchasing a car from this dealer, which ended up having some issues. They were honest on the issues and the repairs. However, being a technician/mechanic myself for some years, I did question that the repairs being made were actually going to fix the car. They were unable to fix the car, however, Travis did step up to try to correct this issue and we worked out a deal I am satisfied with. Coming from this sort of back ground myself, I do understand not everything works smoothly and perfectly, and to their credit they did their part after the fact to correct this.

Big shout out to Kim! Excellent customer service, not pressure to buy but willing to help. Her professional demeanor and knowledge allowed me to purchase my vehicle with no regrets! The financing portion was quick and painless, just as professional as the sale of vehicle. I would recommend Iconic Motor Company of Shelby to everyone!

By far the best used car buying experience I have ever had. I found the truck I had been looking for online, called and talked to Travis who was very helpful. Being almost 600 miles away I wanted to be sure truck was truly as good as it looked online. Travis answered all my questions, sent a couple videos, and even answered questions on his day off. Once we settled on a price I booked a one way rental car and headed that way on an overnight road trip, Travis even picked me up at rental office. The truck was about as close to new as you could get for almost 20k less than new sticker price. Knowing that I had a long drive home to NW Ohio, they filled her up with gas while taking care of the paperwork....nice touch. The final hurdle was getting the out of state title work completed...well no problems here. Their title department rep Mandy called me a couple days later and explained every step of the process, she made a couple more follow up calls and text messages until everything was complete. I have purchased cars locally from big dealers that didnt go this smoothly. I know a lot of car dealers get a bad reputation, and being far away from home I was a little concerned....but, like I said to start this review - this was by far the best used car buying experience I have ever had. Abbey at iconic motors is literally the best human being alive! Got me into a 2015 subaru forester with a great deal and did everything she could to make sure I was satisfied with everything. This place right here is the best used car lot I’ve ever been to. They have a little bit of everything from all different price range. I was able to find my dream Jeep and Caleb was able to make everything line up and worked so very hard to make sure I was comfortable in buying. He relieved the stress that comes with buying a $30k vehicle by making me feel like I was in great hands at all times!

Bought a jeep from them. Bad experience. Management is very poor. Voice mail doesnt work. Cant ever get manager to return calls. Need info on extended warranty i purchased. Very poorly managed. Would not recommend.

Terrible! We called ahead, before driving 45 minutes, to make sure the vehicles we were interested in were available. Got there and test drove 3 different SUVs. Came in and told them which one we wanted and how many $Thousands$ we had to put down. The Salesman Travis, left us with our 2 year old in a tiny 6×6 office for almost 20 minutes! To go talk to his manager. The 2 year old got restless quiet quickly as we did. Finally, I walked her outside. As I did I passed our so called salesman, who was leaning on the doorway to another tiny cubicle who saw us, or rather, it was more like he didnt see me at all. He looked like he couldnt care less! So I went back got my husband. We put our child in our car and left. We have NEVER been treated so rudely! I will never recommend this place to anyone. Oh and there was obvious problems with all the vehicles we test drove. The one we had chose was a minor thing so we were going to overlook it for the price it was listed. But they had definitely tampered with the cars trying to hide whatever real problems they have. Do not waste your time or money going here!

If you are interested in buying a car better show up with cash apparently, because I was trying to get a loan for car and had a great down payment, but I was told someone came with cash to buy car during the time I was trying to get the deal done.

AVOID. AT. ALL. COSTS.These people were rude from the moment I called about a vehicle. After putting that experience aside, I still made an APPOINTMENT to come look at the vehicle drove 2 HOURS in which they knew I was coming. Once I arrived I was told the vehicle had been sold out from under me. They didn’t even offer an apology or a simple sorry for wasting a four hour round trip. I would never even consider purchasing a vehicle from this place ever.
