I ordered an queen size mattress to replace my last mattress. I was able to get the mattress that I wanted and memory foams pillows at a price that no one else could even come close to. My mattress is perfect. There were many to select from and Lamar worked with me to choose the best mattress for me in the price range that I wanted to stay in. He did not try to over sell me or pressure me to purchase anything extra that I didnt need or to purchase that day. I will be going back to purchase the bunk beds for my son and to get my daughter a new bedroom suite. I love this store. I have referred others to Central Arkansas Mattress and they were able to get everything that they needed at the best price and I will continue to refer my friends and family here for their furniture needs.

We have purchased several things from them. We have always had a great experience, even if problems arise. Very happy with our mattress and the other furniture we have purchased. Very reasonable prices. Highly recommended.

This was the worst buying experience I have ever had. Ordered Queen size bedroom set and received full size. Ordered it in Oak and got a Cherry wood. Lamar refused to take it back. (My check was cashed before I even got the set). Delivery was 3 days late and I needed delivery before I went out of town which Lamar knew. Lamar kept saying I will make things right when you get back. He did not return phone calls and I finally got a text after 5 days. I said I would have to go to BBB. He did not seem concerned and was very rude. This set is no good to me and cannot be used. Wish I had looked up these reviews. I would never have gone to his store.

Very friendly service! Received our order earlier than expected and great (unbelievable) prices! Everything was absolutely perfect and extremely fast! Price-checked the mattress set against Amazon and he beat that pricing, even with having free shipping through Amazon.

I purchased a mattress for one of my kids. Wed just moved and shes was sleeping on three floor. He said next day. Didnt happen. When I got a hold of him, he said delivery guy had a stroke. Two days later Lamar, the owner delivered a different mattress. Said it was an upgrade. Took forever to NOT get what I ordered. Hes a great story teller.

Four good experiences with Central Arkansas Mattress and Lamar. (1) After a bad experience with a competitor, my wife and I spoke with Lamar. Even though he hadnt sold us anything, he educated us on what to look for in a mattress and even spoke with the manager of the COMPETITOR store on our behalf (via phone)! This helped us get the best deal on a warranty exchange from the other guy. (2) Subsequently, we went to Central Arkansas Mattress and got a great deal on a new king sized box spring set. It wasnt in stock so he ordered it; it came in sooner than we expected. (3) Months later, we returned and Lamar gave us a great deal on a new bed frame. (4) That worked so well, that months later we returned again and bought a new mattress for our guest bedroom. We had found out that we were having an out of town guest and needed a 2nd bed for the guest bed room ASAP. I bought the mattress over the phone (on his advice, and after having seen one in his store), and Lamar went out of his way to make sure we had the bed by the end of the day. He delivered it himself. The next day, our out of town guest slept well in a new bed! Great job, Lamar! Thanks for going of your way for us - and both beds are awesome. (5) Soon we will be getting some additional furniture and anticipate a 5th great experience.

It made me give a rating in order to give review but This place gets negative zero stars. Guy named Lamar, great con man. I ordered bedrom suites, living room furniture, and dining room set. Everything was delivered except dining room set. I called, he said he had to order, would send when came in. It NEVER came in, he then asked for receipt which was electronic and only showed total amount spent. He beat me out of around $400. I called almost everyday for six months and then the store closes down without a word. I hope he hasnt reopened anywhere else 😡

I will never buy from this store again I spent quite a bit of cash on a sectional that was suppose to be cloth but instead leather took me a month to get the wrong sectional and its damaged. Ordered a queen Storage bed with two night stands wrong bed and it was damaged. Ordered entertainment cabinet was suppose to be espresso it was not and it was damaged. Paid for a 55 inch curve smart TV but ended up with a 55 inch sanyo. Was supposed to be reordering the cabinet and headboard for my bed have not heard from him in three weeks. Just lie how is he allowed to continue in business.

Bought a new Ashley Recliner Ebony black late yesterday evening as a first time customer. Its pretty much a one man operation and a very small, cluttered store. The service was ok but not outstanding, since he listed the recliner on Craigslist at one price and charged me another price at the store. Im well aware of Arkansas sales tax % and can pretty much figure it in my head. I do have an MBA and work as an executive for one of the largest Automotive manufactures in the world, so I was definitely over taxed but not big enough to even really complain. Ashleys had to order this recliner and it would take like 3 weeks to get it in and CAM had it in stock for much lower. I got what I wanted at a very good price and would buy again if he has what I need in stock. With my daughter preparing to enter college next year, Im always interested in saving money. Thank You! SCAM!!! Stay away. First of all, Ethan and Lamar are the same person. Let me get that out of the way. Secondly, I purchased a couch, love seat with attached ottoman and paid with 90 days same as cash for all three items. I never received the Ottoman. Ethan/Lamar called me 24 hours before the furniture was to be delivered and stated that he wouldnt have the ottoman piece until the following Tuesday. He stated that instead he had the exact same couch and love seat set but without the ottoman that could be delivered on the promised date. I asked him what we could do to compensate for the ottoman, in the event I wanted to take him up on this offer, seeing that I had guests coming over and needed seating for them. He stated that he will provide me with a $75.00 GIFT card to local restaurants in the area, along with issuing me a $75.00 credit for the delivery fee. Well, this is confusing because I never was told I would have to pay a delivery fee when the delivery guy arrived.. so now he is making up credits to give me. I found this odd, but told Lamar/Ethan that the gift card and credit would be sufficient (assuming I would see this come off of my bill that I financed my furniture through with Okinus). I never received a gift card, so after a month, I went into his place of business there in Sherwood, and asked for my gift card. He instead gave me 3 - 50% off coupons that would be valid only if I spent at least $50.00 at these restaurants... doesnt sound like a gift card to me. When inquiring about the credit for the delivery fee he got angry, and in my face (by the way, I recorded him) and said WELL SOMEONE HAS TO PAY THE DELIVERY DRIVER. I reached out to Okinus and the Arkansas Attorney General... it seems like something so simple, but I just want justice. Either give me my ottoman, or give me my $75 gift card (take your coupons back) and credit me $75 for this mysterious delivery fee. The investigator is still working the case. I have absolutely nothing to lose, so until I get what I paid for/agreed to, I will not stop. Do yourself a favor, and DO NOT RENT FROM LAMAR/ETHAN. If you go through his old reviews, everyone is bashing Lamar, so on Craigslist he started going by Ethan. ITS THE SAME GUY! I didnt know until the investigator told me. He is a crook, and probably got his family members to write the positive reviews.

The first time I shopped the experience was great, then again he wasnt open very long...The second time, was the worst experience ever. All he could concentrate on was the next customers coming in the store. If your item is not at the location, do not buy...He gives false times on delervery and is very rude when asked. Lamar also has a hard time returning calls, when a shippment is late he blames it on the warehouse..

I learned about Central Arkansas Mattress via their Facebook page. I purchased a bedroom set for a great price. I made my purchase on Thursday November 5th and it was delivered to me Saturday morning on November 7th. The bedroom set looks just like the picture on their Facebook page. I love it! Mr. Lamar and his deliver person Mr. Howard were both very courteous and professional. I will definitely purchase from Central Arkansas Mattress again in the future and will also refer any of my family and friends.

The only reason Im even giving one star is because I have to to leave a review. Our initial visit to the store left me a little leary because of the way things were displayed. I left thinking I was wrong because Lamar seemed so friendly and wanting our buisness. Our sofa, love seat and mattress was delivered promptly but we were told we would have to wait on our ottoman and recliner . We waited over a month and finally demanded a refund on the ottoman that never came. We were given excuse after excuse, and promised to be given phone calls that never came. Lamar ended up texting us, which is poor buisness ethics in my opinion. We will never shop here again.

IF I COULD GIVE HIM A NEGATIVE START I WOULD!!!! Everyone with a bad review has stated the same situation I went through. I ordered two twin side beds with the storage bench. He didnt tell me that the second bench was not in he told me my order was ready for pickup and when I got there, thats when he told me. I waited almost two weeks and then I decided to call and cancel the order. He told me my refund will be no later then wed. No call or nothing so I went up there on Thursday and he always says I have your ticket right here but that a lie!!! Still no refund so I waited and called again and informed him that this is a very unprofessional process and that I dont appreciate the way it is be handled his response well we can do this one way or another way not for sure what that means??? He called and apologized and told me I could pick up my Check and then I got a text from his number address with a different name as if it was his assistant. I will not I REPEAT I WILL NOT BUY ANOTHER THING FROM THIS LOCATION
