Went into Shorewood Lube and Service for the first time and I was impressed! Just went in for a simple oil change and I was in and out within 20 minutes. Also, they are very professional and dont try to get you to buy alot of other stuff for your car. Will definitely be going back to get my oil changes and other car problems.

Mark, the owner, has always been a pleasure to do business with. I have used him for many years to service my pickup truck and my wife’s car. Sometimes these repairs can be costly, but I know that Mark would always prefer to use original equipment manufacturers parts (O.E.M.), such as GM. It’s worth the extra money too, because they carry a good warranty. “You get what you pay for.” We have had some difficult to diagnose problems with our vehicles over the years too. Mark has always been able to fix them first time, every time. I never had a “call-back” with a repeat of the same problem. Great quality service and Always able to fix our problems. A lesser shop may not even get a diagnosis correct.

I absolutely love this place!!! As soon as you walk in the staff is so warm and welcoming! They have saved me more than once with issues with my car. I had breaks that were about to fail, and they were able to get the caliper into the shop, and replaced it all within a few hours. Meanwhile having my 3 year old with me. They turned on cartoons, gave her games to play, snacks, and it was like she was at home. Today, my engine light was on, so I took it to the shop. Thank goodness I did. My car wouldnt start after they looked at it. They were able to replace my battery and get me on the road. If not I couldve been stranded on the side of the road in this terrible cold with my children. I just have to say, I love Shorewood Lube! Thank you all for being such great people and accommodating my kids and fixing my car. I will never go to another shop!

Use to go to Walmart but with the virus they are closed, thought Id give this place a try and now wont go anywhere else, quick, easy, knowledgeable, friendly and affordable.

My husband came here for one issue and left with a broken driver door handle which they refused to repair. Offered to bring the part in and have them complete the service but they were unwilling. Poor customer service.

Great people here. I went in for an oil change and they noticed I had a nail in my tire. my car is 18 years old and I didnt want to get a whole set of new tires. they had a used tire that fit perfectly and was on my way in no time at a very reasonable price. I have a 2012 supercharged Ford Mustang. Had been going to national chain for my oil changes and they never once checked the air filtering. Shorewood lube replaced the filter that was completely dirty and throttle body that had seized up. Customer service was awesome. Will be taking all my cars here from now on. They gained a customer for life.

Mark and the staff here are fantastic. They treat me like Family and never try to up sale me or sell me a product that I dont need. While needing repairs on my Avalanche is never fun, knowing I can trust them really helps with the stress. Prices are always fair and my car is returned to me sooner than expected.

Excellent top tier service

I switched to going here from NTB for the great service and prices. They are always very friendly and willing to explain things in a non-condescending way like NTB usually did. I became regular here with my oil changes as they always got to me very quickly and recently needed a headlight change. I went to NTB for the convenience of going on a Saturday and they tried to tell me that it would be $87 for the headlight change due to the complicated process of the parts I had. I declined the service and instead waited for a time where I could stop in at Shorewood Lube.I went in today asking how much it would be and Mark goes to check it out and says its a very simple change and inexpensive bulb. I left with a new headlight costing me under $25 total and a new fondness for this place who didnt try to dupe me on the price of a simple service. I absolutely recommend you go here.

Let me start out by saying my husband is the one that normally takes the cars in for oil changes.. however he wasnt able this time and asked me to do it.. so of course I figured sure Ill just take it to nearby Walmart and shop while I wait..WRONG bad idea.. I should have ran out of there immediately. When I got to the automotive area it seriously took at least 10 minutes for someone to come to the desk.. then they snapped at me... Maam there is an 1.5 hr wait. I said oh.. right away the employee rudely told me there are cars ahead of you and it is first come first serve!! For whatever reason I decided I would wait.. but then the young man went back to the work area and you could totally tell they were making fun of me..and were laughing. I am a polite calm person.. and a business owner myself so I understand it can sometimes be hard to deal with the public.. so I am always extra nice and understanding. This place is just awful..very unprofessional..downright rude and condescending. So I informed them I was leaving and would not require the work. His reply was.. fine and he immediately turned around and walked away. I would never go anywhere near that place again. I should have know better.. I just left and went home as I was frustrated. When I told my husband what happen .. he told me I could wring your neck why on earth would you go there ?? I always take the cars to Shorewood Lube... theyre awesome..they know what theyre doing..never try to pull any fast ones..youre in and out..theyre very friendly and polite...so yeah you guessed it thats where I took it the next day.. I normally dont do reviews.. very few.. but I felt I had to for 2 reasons to warn people about Walmarts practices and to let everyone know what a wonderful place Shorewood Lube is.. they truly are amazing..got me in and out.. very friendly and polite. Thank goodness for honest friendly people..I almost thought that was a thing of the past. Thank you for wonderful service and well be seeing you soon!!

My elderly mother drove into town today to take her drivers license test and I met her at the SOS facility. We were both surprised when the test administrator told her she couldnt take the test because she had no brake lights. The fuse and bulbs were fine so we immediately went to Shorewood Lube since they have always been accommodating in the past. Although they were booked solid, they realized the predicament we were (my mothers DL was expiring the following day AND she lived over an hour away so leaving the car would have been problematic). They dropped what they were doing, diagnosed the problem, ordered a relay switch and had it delivered and installed withing the hour. My mom passed her DL test and was able to drive home safely. Its hard to find an honest family owned business nowadays but Im glad to say that Shorewood Lube is just that. Well certainly be back.

Mark and his crew are very honest tells it like it is. He will make a referral to another specialty shop if he thinks it is warranted. He stands behind his work. He checked out a problem for me and upon him checking, found that the repair would be covered under the manufacturers powertrain warranty. He drove it to a nearby dealer himself to get the work done for free and charged me NOTHING for his time. You dont find many honest people like that anymore. I highly recommend this shop.

Overly priced to do a front brake job. The new brakes squeal worse than the wore out ones. Im getting my oil change right now at a different place and now it seems my drain plug was cross threaded from shorewood lube, since theyve done my previous 2 oil changes. Id find somewhere else to go.
