There was only one person working the floor and too many people needing assistance. The cashier was very polite and helpful. We spent over $1000 and yet no one mentioned that the generator didnt come with break-in oil. 2 hour drive one way...ugh!

What can I say about harbor freight, been with them more than 30 years and have watched their quality and product offerings expand greatly. Eric is doing a great organizational and growth model and I hope someday he offers franchises :-) Great value, consistent quality over many different product lines....

Quality of some tools is improving but its still hit or miss. Prices tend to be better than most places but not always. Staff is helpful when needed and friendly. This store doesnt seem to have as wide a variety of tools as other Harbor Freights stores Ive been to and, several times items I wanted have been out of stock for over a month. They dont have any decent quality solar power solutions and, what they do have, can be bought elsewhere for less.

I like Harbor Freight. They get 4 stars simply because their advertising hyperbole is wearying. I have only purchased a couple of items of such poor quality as to be useless. My fault. Virtually everything else has been well worth the purchase price. I know, I know - buy American. Show me any tool for less than double the harbor freight price that is verifiably sourced from American materials, manufactured in America and assembled in America of equal or better quality and I will buy American. Until then. . .

Staff was ok, I arrived shortly before close so the cashier seemed rather pushy on me being done before they close. I love Harbor Freight they have a large selection of tools and prices are competitive with Lowes or home depot. If you want good tools at fair prices, Im confident Harbor Freight will help you do just that.

Good priced tools. And the few employees they did have were friendly, helpful when confronted. Could use a few more people because, I spent 20 minutes looking for one item before I was able to find some one to help me.

Assistant manager Tom M is a very adamant little man. It was near closing time and I was interested in a hydraulic floor jack and asked about a coupon I had on my phone. Tom told me I had a fake coupon and was trying to rip him off. Coupon is a legitimate coupon from their new digital coupon book/site. Ive been going to this store since it opened and this was my first bad experience. All other employees have no problems scanning coupons from my phone.

A hard store not to spend a lot of money in. They always have what you need at a reasonable price. Not the greatest quality of tools but certainly not the worst they all got lifetime warranties so be break one they replace it got to give this store a five stars best regards Bruce Wayne Mathis

Harbor Freightss New rule on only accepting exact change or cards for payment is ludicrous. Just the other day I bought a generator and a slew of other items, totaling over $700. The employee refused to make change for me on the sale in which only $10.25 would be coming back to me. I was mad, still am, my fiance had to use her card to pay for the items.I will NOT even enter their store until they decide to make change again. There is no coin shortage, its the government trying to push us to a cashless society.

You can always find a great price. The staff can be a little cranky but maybe because theyre under staffed.

I bought a Vulcan 200 Tig Welder, and a Mig Max 215 welder from Harbor Freight, total of $1900. Recently they were stolen by a former employee and I REPORTED THIS TO ALL HARBOR FREIGHTS in New Mexico (with receipts and serial numbers).A few months later the suspected criminal brought both welders to the store on cottonwood in Albuquerque. They recorded him on video and GAVE HIM $2000 IN STORE CREDIT! Then they sent both machines to corporate. Its too bad because both were awesome to use!

Quality has come a long way since I first used HF sockets and wrenches in the 80s. They have about everything and if you dont use them everyday (professionally), most are well worth every penny. Although the new Icon line seems geared toward the professional. Just do your research and read item reviews or look the tools up on Youtube. Lots of people review HF products there.

Store manager Tom was horrible and rude. Went in with my dad who has a very bad back and asked the store manager where the augers were and my dad says can i get that please. Toms reply was oh its not that heavy so i replied dont worry dad i got this. I give the store manager a 1 star but the supervisor there checking out gets a 5 star bc she was amazing and super nice.

My first visit here was so wonderful! But later that day I came in close to closing. I wanted an advertised item. But no one seemed to know where that item was. When they finally found it I realized that they wanted more than the ad said. It was plainly in my mistake as I was not in the quote buyers club. But thats not the problem! The problem is they really hammered me over the head for that mistake. They made sure that it says right there! after they got done with me at closing time I felt lower than a snakes belly. I really have to think twice about going back to this one.

My husband is very happy to have Harbor Freight close by. I enjoy going inside with him as well. Most of the time help is available to answer questions or direct you to what youre looking for. The place is clean as well as the bathrooms.

With my experience some stores vary in size depending on the state and city. Harbor freight merchandise is a hit or miss on quality. Somethings break immediately and some have lasted me a long time.Ive noticed the rise of two power tool brands being sold. What doesnt make sense is the price of the power tools, specifically the cordless drills and impact wrenches. You can spend literally $50-$100 more and get a Milwaukee version at home Depot.Overall its a fun store to get some cheap tools.

The store is always very clean and organized. The bathrooms are also nice. Its a great place for a quick trip to get what you need and get out. They have really nice sales and many coupons online and in the mail that will save you a lot of money. We always check Harbor Freight before the big box stores.

Harbor Freight is what it is, and if youre at all familiar with it then you know what to expect. Folks working there are knowledgeable of the product and the layout of the store, which is more than I can say for the Home Depot or Lowes in town. I use them almost exclusively for my Expendable safety equipment, and honestly a handful of my tools have come from them as well. Honestly, as long as you get the warranty on their power tools Ive had no complaints about my experiences shopping at any Harbor Freight, especially the one local in town now.

Im going to give this HFT only 3 stars as I asked for help with an open box/display item . I also asked if an important part to it was with it or not. The answer was this is a display model you will need to go find it somewhere else, when I knew they sold something that would work and that they sold it in the store. The problem was I was taking to much of his time. The item was close to $200, you think they would give you some attention when wanting to buy a higher level priced item.

Walked into Harbor Freight in show low Az. Today. I hear all the time how rude the employees are towards their customers. Well today comfirmed the fact. I walked in just in time to hear a male employee being irate and impatient with a customer on the phone. Even heard him tell the customer he/she made no sense. As two other male employees walked over to stand around and do nothing, that employee slammed the phone down hanging up on the customer. He then told the others that the customer was wasting his time. Who knows maybe it was the manager.
