I purchased a brand new stove from Sears online and picked it up at the Mansfield Rd store on 11/21. The electric panel on top and oven stopped working. I call the store because I want to bring it back and they refused to accept it. I was given a 800 number that transferred me five different times and did not speak clear english. I call back to the store and ask them again to help me and I was told by the assistant manager that it is the owners policy not to take the online orders back after 30 days.. the return policy online states that it is 45 days. She said that they do not make money off the online orders and the owner will not allow her to help with them. I asked to speak to the owner and the manager told me that he NEVER comes in to the store and that there is absolutely no way that she can put me in contact with him. It is a shame to see what an iconic brand like Sears has become. I completely understand why the company is bankrupt and going out of business because they no longer care about the customer. I have purchased thousands of dollars of appliances from sears over the last several years for various projects and this will be my last order.

Just go to Lowes or home depot where they offer REAL financing options. This place finances through a terrible lease option where you will indefinitely pay 1/6 of their purchase price every month unless you actively call in to buy out your item, and they do not make that clear. After 3 months, your payment is no loger going toward the items price. I ended up paying literally an extra $200. To add insult to injury, the ice maker broke after 1 tub of ice. On the warmest setting it freezes the top shelf.
They unfortunately didnt have what I needed and I didnt want wait for them to order it so they took their time and called the hometown store in Many and they had it in stock. I am very grateful that they went out of their way to find it for me. This store is highly recommended!
The guy that helped us out was Jacob. He was so friendly and helpful. Gave advice about what products worked best without making us feel like he was upselling. Planned on getting one thing and came out with 4 appliances. He was patient and didnt rush us. Would definitely shop here again.
Got a great price on a refrigerator. The salesman was incredibly helpful and informative. Will definitely be back for our next appliance.
I dont live in Shreveport but stopped by the store to browse around and found out they own the store in my hometown. I ended up buying a filter for my fridge and told the owner about the friendly service I received at his other location.

I could spend hours in this store! The employees are hard working and treat each customer like family. I am so glad that this Sears will stay open they deserve it.

My friend Robbie went to the home town Sears a couple of days ago and spoke to the owner about Craftsman screwdrivers that the handles are deteriorating and smelling like vomit cause my whole shop to smell and he told him to have me bring them by and he would exchange them since they are life time warranty so today I dropped by with my box of screwdrivers and the owner ask what was wrong with them I told him the handles are deteriorating and smells like puke he said hes not going to exchange them for that he also said all Craftsman screwdrivers smell, go figure that he flat out lied to my best friend Robbie, needless to say I am not going to ever do business with the Shreveport Louisiana Mansfield Rd store again nor will I ever buy a nother Craftsman product ever. Buyer beware!
The owner is a class act. Good looking feller too. You won’t find better customer service anywhere else. Buy local!

Sears has not disappeared. I was looking for a vacuum cleaner and remembered the old Kenmore machines and researched any remaining Sears. I discovered tue Home Store. Snd found a vzvuum cleaner. It was not a Kenmore but I am pleased. Sears continue to provide quality appliances.

Purchased a Tiller online for nextday Pick Up, was called and told it was sold in the morning. Was then told that the order would be transfered to a different Sears nearby. Called the Corporte Store and was told that wasnt an option and i was given misinformation. Love the Email I recieved Stating that my order would be processed and ready to go before they drank their morning coffee, just to have my product sold before they looked at the computers. Then to be given the wrong information. I do not Recommend this establishment and will be telling all i know to stay away.
