Nice people but plan to be greeted by a virtual optometrist. Glasses are good but contacts they sold me are still blurry. And rip so easy that Ive already gone thru 6 months worth in 1 month. Im going to try a different company. Id like to do business with a company that will help me with my contacts and not rush me out the door.

If I could give this place zero stars, I would. I had an appointment at 9:30 AM and due to technically issues, I wasn’t seen until 10:10 AM. I’m very understanding to these issues and know it was out of the employees’ hands. I then had to wait another 25 minutes to be seen by the doctor via zoom. As I was about to walk out due to me having class at 11 AM, the worker claimed that the room was ready for me and to come in. She said it wouldn’t take long. I go into the room and was asked to state my name. The doctor asked the worker to check the chat via zoom and she did. She then processed to tell me this room was for someone else and that she couldn’t change it and I’ll have to come back. I think it’s safe to assume that I won’t be back after wasting 2 hours of my time and with no results… not even an apology. This is not the first time I’ve heard about this place lacking in different aspects. There was another woman who also left while I was there. She stated she had an appointment on Saturday and was told to come back today due to the same issues. She wasn’t seen either after waiting for almost an hour.

I was able to get a same-day eye exam which was great because Id been without contacts for months. I left with a trial pair of lenses and when I accidentally ripped them before my contact order could come in, they were nice enough to give me another pair to hold me over. The ladies in there are really nice and accommodating.

Zachary and Tiffany were awesome! They fixed my wife’s glasses in no time and got us on our way!!

Excellent experience saved over $600 for eyewear

My grandson broke his glasses while we where visiting the area on vacation. His glasses were purchased from a Stanton Optical affiliate. I stopped in and the staff greeted me. I explained what happened and they were more than willing to assist me and and took the time to fix my grandsons frames within a few minutes. They took the time to fix them to the point where they were like new. I highly recommend this store for all of your eyewear needs or concerns. The staff are very knowledgeable as well.

This place is a hazard to public eye health. They have you sign paperwork saying they are not liable for any eye disease, because its not an eye exam. The lady there said to visit your eye doctor if you want your eye health checked. There is no doctor on site.... not sure how they legally get away with advertising they give eye exams. They do take a picture, and some off site doctor may glance at it, I dont know. And they do give a really cruddy refraction. (which was off). They dont take glasses measurements with them on your face...which is kinda really important when ordering new lenses.

I went in with my own prescription. Jessica gave me a warm greeting and was very knowledgeable. I was very pleased with my purchase and will definitely be tell my friends about this place. A bonus was they had a lot of frames to choose from.

I was overcharged on my eyeglass purchase.I got the eye exam,single vision glasses and reading glasses.I was charged 129.55.I was ok with that,until I got home and was noticing that the single vision glasses were useless to me because I couldnt read with them.I ended up turning the 2 pairs back into Stanton optical and was going to do the 2 pairs of reading glasses and exam for $59 plus tax instead.I tried to explain to the sales lady there that my refund should be more than $41.84 which is what I was refunded. Stanton owes me back at least $20-25 more back. I guess Im going to have to go over her head to get my refund!

I was visiting Louisiana from TX and tore the only pair of contacts I had. My vision is very bad and I was miserable. I went to Stanton Optical and Tiffany and Jessica helped me right away and gave me some samples to get me through. Their service was amazing and I would definitely recommend going there!! Worst place Ive ever purchased glasses .Got glasses and my pen kept falling out . Took them back and after another wk. Got them back. Same problem !! The tried to replace the screw that holds the lens in with a bigger screw. Did not work!! Took them back and was told a week later they had to order new frames. A few days later I was told they had ordered the wrong frames. I strongly suggest you go to another place. these guy have no service or help. Had to go to the back of there store twice just to find someone to help me. Have asked to talk to a manager on phone multiple times but it is always some excuse. Terrible Business.

My glass frame was broken apart. I bought another identical frame online (different store) and was trying to snap the original lenses into the new frame. The frame is so rigid and tight that I could not make it. I brought them to Stanton Optical. Ms Jessica and Tiffany helped to solve my problem within 3 minutes. I appreciated their help! I had no insurance at all and I got 2 pairs of really good glasses for almost $400.00....it would have been over $1,000 had they not put the promos and things on it. The customer service was excellent as well!! I am super grateful!

The initial experience was good. The exam and other stuff went well. Their cheap offer wasnt on the table, but I really didnt expect it to be.They told me they would call when the glasses were ready.... Then started the dilemma. You try to call them and the phone number seems to change: you click on one number and it calls another. ALL of them though send you into their virtual switchboard. Search by phone number (you have to enter it)for the status of the order yielded nothing.Choose any option to get a real person just puts you into another que. After you hold over 5 minutes, it sends you to offshore support. The rep was WONDERFUL, but I probably have 45 minutes into calling and getting an answer.If they are going to use offshore support, they should at least have a shorter que and fewer meaningless menus that all arrive at the same basic place...The hold loop also directed you to a feature on their website to check the order status, but I have yet to find even a mention of it there.

It was a different experience from any eye exam I have had in the past. Ill give another review after i receive my new glasses. Everyone was friendly and polite. They were willing to work with me for the best deals. I have been satisfied with service so far. As soon as I find out if my prescription is correct ill give update.

Driven by a 1000 times, decided to give it a try. Very good equipment for testing. Optometrist was virtual, reminded me of blade runner very neat. They can control the machine. Got 2 pairs, scratch coating and anti glare. Will update review after receiving, but I felt good about it.

Worst experience I’ve ever had just for ONE pair of glasses. Placed my order THREE times before someone finally told me they no longer carry the glasses. Took them TWO MONTHS to tell me that. Then I had to wait another TWO weeks just for the new order. They never answer the phone. Getting in contact with corporate is almost impossible. Don’t waste your time. Use anybody else!!

I was dreading the process of getting a new prescription and glasses, but my experience turned out to be quite pleasant and painless. The vibe was positive from the moment I walked through the door. I had my eye exam elsewhere, but found the glasses I liked here to fill my prescription. Everyone who works here that I have encountered is extremely friendly and helpful; top notch customer service. I had to return due to scratches in my glasses and was able to get them replaced under the 1-year warranty I had (I also paid a tad extra to upgrade them to be more scratch resistant). I got my glasses back quickly, and they even shipped off a new pair for the replacement lenses, so I could use my glasses (the best I could) until I got my new lenses in.

[EDIT]Its been three weeks since I left a review and still no glasses. They told me they were ordering them again because they got lost in transit, but they dont answer their phones and have made no efforts in contacting me. NEVER getting glasses from them again. THEY. ARE. HORRIBLE. Ive been waiting on an order of glasses for a month now. It has been in transit and theres been no update. When I contact the store they tell me that its coming the next day. This has happened two times. Now I cant get ahold of them anymore. This is absolutely ridiculous. The service was nice when I visited, but thats about it. This was my first time going here and most definitely will be my last.

I had a very pleasurable experience at Stanton Optical yesterday. The exam was easy but thorough. The staff was so friendly and explained everything in detail. I was trying to get glasses on a budget and Jessica did a great job helping me stay on point. She helped me pick frames that looked nice on me and explained everything in detail. I walked out getting two pairs of glasses and it didnt break the bank.

Ive been getting mine and my husbands eye exams once a year in Shreveport at different locations for many years. Many times we dont even get new glasses as we cant afford them but get them to stay current with what has to be logged in my works health assessment program .My husband told me bout their Get a Eye Exam and two pairs of Glasses for $59.95.The exams alone we been getting before were $60. And I get frames for the price of an eye exam?Thats a good deal.I went there and had new equipment used on me Ive never experienced. They took pictures of the back of my eye. Instead of just measuring my eyes. Face Timing was new for me as well and the guy was great. Was sent for my glasses and picked out my two FREE glasses (lens cost included with the deal).The lady sat me down and went over whats going on with my eyes and told me I had a slight Stigmatizm in my right eye. I was shocked as I never had anyone sit down with me and go over whats going on with my eyes. Ive always had to ask if I remembered to. Many other times at other places Im just given that piece of paper, give them my money and they tell me to have a nice day and move on to next person in line.My husband however had issues with his free glasses because he needed thicker lenses and the glasses they had for free wouldnt accommodate to the deal we came in for. So what they did is had him pick out only one pair of frames that was next to the cheapest ones that could fit his lenses and gave him a discount. This was his first time getting a thicker pair of lenses and we werent prepared for the costs difference.We didnt even have to haggle for a discount.We walked out with two eye exams and 3 pairs of frames, with lenses included for less than $150. They done their best to accommodate for my husbands awkward lenses.You cant beat that deal and for the type of service we got.I told my Mom about it and she actually believed that was a special type of treatment for someone with eye insurance.We paid out of pocket.My Mom was surprised I got that type of eye treatment for having no insurance. If youre having problems with your eyes, go here. They even have eye exam deals cheaper than what I got.Just call them and ask. Theyre gonna do way more with mapping your eyes than other places in Shreveport do.

I got my prescription updated earlier this month to order contact lenses. I booked online, but when I got to the storefront, I had to wait just like anyone who walks in. So, there was no point of booking online. I waited for about 1.5 hours before I was seen.Then, I ordered my contact lenses. I filled out all the forms with my address, which is out of town (not close to Shreveport at all). But the staff never asked if I need my order shipped to my address. I told her I need to ship my order to my physical address because I cant come and pick it up.She gave me a look and said, You can tell us to ship it to you when we call you that your order is ready for pick-up.Then, almost 2 weeks go by and I did not get a call. I called them and waited on the line for about 40 mins before I could talk to a customer service representative who assured me that he talked to the employee in the store and told me that she would give me a call to get all the details about shipping AND that the order will be shipped.Never received a call. One thing I assumed was that they would have shipped the order by then (this is my fault that I trusted someone will actually do the job). A couple of weeks go by, and now I am on hold to talk to probably a customer service representative because there is no direct phone line to the store. Ive been on the phone for about 22 mins so far.Overall, terrible customer service. I spent over $270 on that day. I DO NOT RECOMMEND this place ever.I am considering to dispute my transaction because I did not receive my order nor service.UPDATE (after the reply to my original review was received): DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY AND ENERGY at Stanton Optical.Go elsewhere who cares about their customers and their experiences.Here is what happened since the day I wrote my first review (above):They did not ship it the second time I talked to them.They did not call me with tracking info as they said they would.I checked with them on facebook, and they told me it wasnt shipped.I requested refund. They ignored that and the next day told me they shipped it and gave me the tracking number.I checked, but the shipment wasnt even at the UPS facility. So, I requested refund and expressed my dissatisfaction.I get a message that basically said they understand how I feel (which I dont think they do) and they shipped it (its true, now it is on the way).Both combining my time in the store and on the phone, Ive spent over 5 hours. Ive been waiting on my order for about a month. I spent over $270. I was told lies (or they simply failed to follow through their words) at least 4 times. All of the times I talked to someone at Stanton Optical were initiated by me. JUST WOW!!! Im in town for work, Im from San Antonio, and found Stanton Optical from a google search. Let me tell Ive never had a better experience anywhere, and Ive been getting glasses every 2 years for the past 30 years. Jessica was super amazing at helping me find the perfect 2 pair of glasses for me. Not to mention making sure in had pair of contacts to take with while mine come in. This place is amazing.

Jessica and Faith went above and beyond during my visit and made me feel at home while still maintaining a professional environment. Faith was awesome walking me through every step of the appointment, and Jessica knew exactly which pair of glasses would look amazing on me. After the great experience in the office, Faith called me after hours to let me know my boyfriend had dropped his wallet and even though it took me another 15 minutes to get back, Jessica was waiting for me with his wallet. I cant say thank you enough!!!

Just got my glasses after 6 days off getting my exam. I can see 100% better. I love my glasses and they fit amazingly. During my exam they were very nice and polite and worked with me and let me take my time. I recommend going here to get your glasses.

I tried some of the other places and none of them could give me an estimated price that was even close to their advertised special. Stanton was the only one who gave me a free eye exam. After choosing my frames from a great selection, I paid a total of $67 for two pairs of glasses. The staff was friendly helpful and knowledgeable. From making my appointment to picking up my glasses it was a very pleasant experience first class all the way

My insurance was lapsed and because of my prescription I was looking at a $300 bill for rather inexpensive frames. But they worked with me to fit my budget and they cut the price in half! I have been wearing glasses for 35 years and to find that kind of a deal is rare at best. In addition they were extremely courteous and very hands-on helpful. I recommend Stanton Optical to everyone!

I did not have a good experience with the customer service due person due to some deliberate misinformation; however, I entered the store and the staff was willing to assist me and make sure I got the glasses and service I was seeking. The store is very trendy-looking, and the atmosphere is nice and relaxed...not chaotic like some other chains I have visited. Oh, and did I say I love my glasses!!!

I drove an hour to this location and specifically asked them to ship me my glasses, WHICH I PAID EXTRA FOR. Three months later I’m still tryin to track down someone at the office to ask them to ship my glasses and I keep getting directed to the customer service line. WORST EYE EXPERIENCE EVER!!!!!!

I went back to the back and filled out paperwork and much to my surprise, I had an exam with a Dr. that was on TV. She did everything that a doctor would do if they were in the room. This was my very first experience of having an eye exam with the Dr. On tv... It was a very unique and interesting experience. After the eye exam, the staff was very helpful in helping me choose glasses. The glasses were very affordable. I cant wait to get them!

I messed up on the sign in pad and Jessica was more than happy to help me, Ive been trying to think of the young mans name that assisted along with Jessica. They were both so helpful and patient. THIS PLACE IS THE BIGGEST CLOWN SHOW IVE EVER DEALT WITH IN ALL THE YEARS OF ME SEEING AN EYE DOCTOR. SOMEHOW ONE EYE WAS MIRACOUSLY WAY BETTER AND ONE WAS WAY WORSE. THE LADY GIVEN THE EXAM VIA A TV SCREEN WAS RUSHING SO FAST THAT I COULD BARELY KEEP UP WITH HER WHICH IS WHY IM SURE SHE SCREWED UP MY PRESCRIPTIONS. NOW ITS BEEN A FEW WEEKS AND IM NEEDING TO ORDER CONTACTS SO I CALL THE LOCAL NUMBER WHICH ISNT LOCAL AND HAVE TO TALK TO SOMEONE WHO DOESNT SPEAK VERY GOOD ENGLISH, THEN SHE TELLS ME ILL HAVE TO CALL BACK BECAUSE THEIR CONTACT SPECIALIST ISNT AVAILABLE TO PLACE AN ORDER FOR ME. I WAITED THE 30 MINUTES AS SHE STATED, FINALLY GOT IN TOUCH WITH THE LOCAL STORE AND LOW AND BEHOLD I GET TOLD TO CALL BACK AGAIN. SERIOUSLY, STANTON THIS IS YOUR JOB, NOT MINE. I truly hope this isnt the service thats supposed to make my experience better. I thought since I got a reply to give them a chance to make good on their promise, well epic fail Stanton optical...EPIC FAIL. I was needing to place a contact order but now youve lost that business forever.Thanks for showing me that all you guys are doing are typing words on here to appease people that you expect not to follow up. The staff and the doctor were amazing here. They took there time and found the right frames that I liked. I also got contacts. Special thanks to ms. Kimberly. And ms. Amber for all there help..... I will definitely come back for all my optical needs.

I had a great experience with Clay and Amber who helped me today. We had some hiccups because their call center misinformed me. But both of them went above and beyond to make sure the rest of my appointment went smoothly. Amber was very knowledgeable of policy and more than willing to help and Clay had excellent customer service, attentive very friendly. If you’re looking for an eye doctor this is the place you need to choose. They are even open on weekends and do their best to get your glasses to you quickly. Thanks again I’ll be back-Cara

Christan and Jessica were really great!!

I paid for 1 pair of glasses and 2 boxes of colored contacts. 1 box of contacts came in for the right eye. 3 weeks later the left eye contacts were still not in. Then the glasses I order were the correct prescription but the frames and lenses were absolutely horrible. When the lens transitioned the film on the lens gained spots and act looked like they were peeling. The frame of the glasses were wiggling so bad they were falling off my face. Until they can get their quality up and the time manner better I would recommend a dead goldfish.

Lorenzo was very nice, patient, and thorough. He explained everything to me well. He discussed everything that I needed. He took time to help my son get what he needed as well. I encountered 2 other ladies during my visit. The technician in the back was very kind too. I didnt catch her name though.

I didn’t have time to write a review earlier but now that I have time I would like everyone to know that Mrs. Jessica made my experience very memorable. I have never received such great customer service she made me feel very welcome and helped me in every way she could thank you so much!

This place was awesome! They’re very friendly and very quick with their work. They know how to getcha in and out with what ya need. I loved how I was able to set an appointment online and once I got there they were ready for me! I’ll soon find out if their testing is accurate once I get my glasses back, but I have no doubts that it’ll be anything short of amazing! They also have TONS of options to choose from for frames and have multiple programs to get you hooked up with what you need! I did the frame club which allowed me to get a pair of prescription glasses and sunglasses for myself and get my wife a pair of glasses with the lenses included for a very reasonable price! I definitely recommend! Oh and Amber and Kim are amazing, go see them!!

Quick exam and polite workers.

Have had my issues, l usually had my problems solved with no hassles.. well how about things change. Amber and Faith both left.They have a new gentlemen running things now. For 6 months, the framesI received have broken in the same place numourous times. They were repaired with no hassles. Two weeks ago they broke again. This time the gentleman decided to charge me for the replacement of the frame. Kinda finished with Stanton

You can NOT call the store. I spent over an hour trying to call the store to see if my order has arrived and couldn’t get anyone on the phone. Very disappointing and I’ll never go back. I do NOT recommend anyone to go here. Not worth the headache.Also my contact prescription has been the same for years and they changed it. Now I don’t see as well, this place is totally unprofessional.

I was beyond pleased with EVERYTHING the customer service was amazing, everyone was friendly and personable. I have a hard time finding glasses that i like and by the time i was done looking i had atleast 10 pairs that i loved. They have a big variety of glasses. This has been by far the best optical place Ive used.

I went in to get my daughters eyes tested. We had a doctor on the computer to do the check. Jessica was great with helping to pick out glasses. I just was not expecting to pay that much for 2 pair of glasses. I wear glasses myself and have paid less for 2 pair of glasses,exam, and colored contacts for a astigmatism. I mean I had to get my child some glasses but I was expecting to be spend that much with school starting. I just felt like there was hidden fees. I love that Jessica was still very professional with the air being broken!

I had the most exciting time here! My very first experience of having an eye exam with the Dr. On tv... very professional. I was very satisfied with my glasses and contacts. Prices well lets just say...I have a really challenging set of eyes and my norm would be over 420 without contacts...I SAVED WITH Stanton with glasses and contacts. 🤗

Got an exam and glasses for the first time with Stanton. Walked in without an appointment, got an exam and glasses at a great price and Kim helped me picked out some great frames and i love them! Will tell everyone I know to go there.

They do not tell you that you dont get to see the doctor in person. You go into a room and see the doctor remotely through a computer screen. I did the exam, but they told me I have an astigmatism in my left eye (I dont). I went to another doctor to have this confirmed, and they messed up the prescription as well as the fact that my astigmatism is on my right eye. They even got my prescription from my glasses incorrect. I also noticed that the doctor signing off on my prescription wasnt even the person I saw. The entire time I was there, the staff was behaving unprofessionally. It was a truly awful experience, and they do not refund you when you realize that you didnt even get to see a doctor.

Great service! Wait time is very minimal; Im sure I was in and out within an hour. They also have a huge selection of glasses with great prices. Definitely going back!

I walked in, was seen immediately and done with the eye exam without any delays! After Jessica gently broke the news that it was time for bifocals, she went above and beyond to put me in glasses i loved! I have no insurance and was of course, concerned about the cost. Not only did I get what i needed, she worked with me so i could afford the better lenses. Made my son an appointment for the next day! We found our eye care center!

One of the quickest eye exams I have ever had. Been wearing glasses/contacts my whole life. The contact lens came in within 3 days. Amazing people, the prices were good too.

I took my daughter in to get her eye exam and first set of glasses. She was nervous but the staff put her at ease. It didnt take long for her to find frames she loved. Jessica went out of her way to give us a great deal.

My experience at Stanton was phenomenal. I was in and out quick no longer than a hour. This is off subject, but the hot assistant was the highlight of my visit. Over all I loved this place, and cannot wait to get my glasses!
