GREAT group of people. I had a fantastic appointment and found out how my vision had changed. The Doctor was super knowledgeable and explained everything. I will definitely be using them for all my appointments. Thank you so much to everyone there. Even though we all had masks on, you could tell they were polite and smiling.

Eye Care offers an exceptional and professional experience. I trust my eyes to Dr. Carter and her staff. I appreciate their patience and kindness with me. The entire process from entering the facility until I checked out was beyond my expectations. The five stars are for the entire staff. All of which are knowledgeable, efficient, & pleasant. Not satisfied with end service.The Exam with tech and eye dr went really good, both very friendly and helpful.Doc walked me to frame technician who I left a couple preselected framesTech didn’t measure eyeglasses at all.Tech wrote down #s of the cost but didn’t provide a breakdown of the costs; instead when asked she verbally tossed out a few #s for lens scratch resistance but gladly shared total of bill, which she said was $202 then $216After I asked few other questions, she didn’t answer and walked me to register to pay.The young lady at register wasn’t any better!She was ready to take payment, telling me my cost was $226. I asked for an itemized review of what I was paying for, same as Frame tech she too acted as it was the strangest question.She then said After I pay she would give me receipt. I firmly said I would to know what exactly I was paying for first. She was bothered with request calling someone over and explained how she couldn’t do what I asked.Basically now the 3rd person couldn’t explain or provide a breakdown of what I was paying for.She simply made copies of the paperwork, handed to me and walked away. I took paper work and didn’t purchase any eye wear.Sadly the tech & doc can’t service it all. Very poor customer service, to the point I will not return.

I love this place! They always answer all of my questions and they make sure I get exactly what I need. With other places having a different wait times, its nice to know that I can schedule my appointment without it being moved.

I couldn’t be more happy with the service anywhere else in Louisiana! The staff was hospitably polite and patient and very attentive to my own concerns in listening to my responses and giving me insightful prospective about the health of my eyes. Originally being from Monroe, Louisiana, I’m going to encourage my family to bring their eye concerns here to a team of caring people who do all they can to make sure your eyes get the best care they need. Eye care really does care!

Eye Care was the absolute worse experience I’ve ever have with buying eye glasses. I spent thousands and received the most pathetic and hostile customer service. I would have spent thousands more by now if you guys had done your job. The prescription you gave me was literally, I mean LITERALLY, painful to wear because my eyes could not focus to them. I had to revert to my old prescription from 4 years ago to wear glasses comfortably again. I gave you guys every opportunity to fix the problem but due to lack of experience or sheer incompetence I had no such luck. If you guys had any decency I would have received a full refund and preferably had been compensated for all of my time I had wasted on you dim witted fools.

The doc was Amazing. Dr. Griffin on my script. She was very professional and thorough. Ive had glasses my whole life and this was the most extensive exam Ive had .The woman who did the pre exam (?) I didnt catch her name unfortunately but she rocked too! Just her demeanor and matter of fact explanations were enough to give this place 5 stars. This is my 1st Google review..after 20 yrs of googling...bc they deserve it. Seriously.

I had several questions when I called to schedule the appointment, as this was the first eye appointment for our 8 year old son, and they were so patient & helpful with all my many questions. The staff was efficient, friendly & so sweet! This was a wonderful experience for my husband & I but especially my son!

I love Eye Care. But, wasnt satisfied with my last visit. Which is why it took me so long to schedule a new appointment. Upon my return they have some new new assistants. Which i am very happy with, because the ones that were there for my last visit had very bad customer service skills and attitudes. I love Dr.Boyd she is very thorough and understanding. I didnt need new glasses this time.. But wanted a different frame.. Loved the selections this time and that Dr.Boyd showed me the best selection for my insurance coverage. Awesomeness!! All around ❤

Love the staff and the thoroughness of Dr. Griffin. I have an astigmatism but there is another name for it just can’t remember. Anyway, Dr. Griffin recommended the hard contacts and since I’ve been wearing them the bulging in my eye has slowed and somewhat rescinded and the eyesight has improved. I’m excited to be able to see clearer! 🤓

The staff at EyeCare is extremely friendly and professional from the time I walked in I was greeted with cheerful and enthusiastic employees. I was excited they matched my energy. Dr. Griffin performed my eye exam and I liked her unique approach to the eye exam. She use relatable phrases to get your eyes in directions that she needs and she was oh so gentle and sweet. They definitely will be my first choice for getting my eye exam and eye glasses.

I was impressed by the service but not by what I had to choose from which is why I chose glasses that wasn’t in my plan I wasn’t getting glasses this time I didn’t absolutely love.

My appointment was 11:45. I atria few minutes before this and waited almost an hour approximately 55 minutes. Finally I went to desk and ask what was going on. The receptionist left & before she came back the door opened and my name was called. Not only this but it is very hard to get someone on the phone to answer your concerns. It took me 2 weeks. Too much to write here but I won’t be back. Not customer oriented, my opinion.

I enjoyed my visit at Eyecare today. The staff was very professional prompt and courteous. My questions were answered by staff who were very knowledgeable of what they were doing. I have been coming here for two years, and honestly Dr. Griffin found a spot on my eye that no other doctor was able to see. So I am very grateful for her. I have always had good service with myself, and my two children. I have always ordered glasses, but we decided to get our contacts here too, and I ordered them at the same time. I did not get any information on how they would be coming so I assumed they would be ready at the office just like the glasses. Well I received a text from Marlo stating that my contacts were delivered. I assumed at the office. I called the office and they said they were delivered to my home almost a month ago. I still do not have them, and I cannot get any help. I have left two messages for the contact lenses department at the office, and Marlo needs my order number when I did not get. So I am stuck without anything, and no one at the office will assist, I literally just called again while typing this and was told the only thing I can do is leave messages or contact Marlo. I have two appointments for my kids coming up, and countless dollars are spent here each year. I am really disappointed. So I guess another company will take my money now, and since this is one of the only places that VSP insurance is in network with in this area, I will be sure to let them know that their customers and their benefits need to go elsewhere.Edit: I took off work, and went to the office. My address was accidentally transposed which is why I didn’t get my contacts. They office handled it while I was there, and a new order was placed. They apologized for not getting back to me as they are short handed. So, I still think the communication needs improvement, but I am grateful my issues was handled.

I wanted to change to an optometrist close to my job in Shreveport because I was traveling to Bossier City for my eye care need. Following the suggestion from VSP insurance, I made an appointment at Eye Care, Inc on January 27. I did not have to wait long and the eye exam was very thorough. They also fitted me for contacts which was my main purpose. I wanted to order 6 months of contacts and maybe some new frames at the right price. The visits was so great I told all of co-workers. Then things took a bad turn. Although I was told my order would take less than two weeks, I waited for 3 weeks before following up on my order. I was told I would receive a text when it was ready. Now it has been six weeks and no text. I sent text wanting cancel my order and shortly after I received a call notifying me that my order was ready. I was told that the communication system had change and some people were not receiving the notification. However, when I arrived my glasses were ready but no order of contacts for me. The receptionist informed me that there were not ordered because I did not request them. Why would I get fitted for contacts and not order them. My prescription says for 6 months so I know told them I wanted 6 months of contacts. I remember that after the exam I was immediately sent to frames area. I indicated that really wanted contacts but will get frames if they are not too expensive. Now I have used my insurance benefits for glasses that I did not need. If you choose to visit this place be very stern with want you want.

Ive used Eye Care in Shreveport for a number of years. Recently, I needed to refill my contact lens prescription, so I called for an appointment. They are very flexible and accommodating, and I chose an appointment date and time for the following week. I learned that my long-time regular Doctor, Michael Pickering, had retired, so I was given an appointment with Doctor Boyd.I found that Dr. Boyd was very skilled and knowledgeable in her field, and Im quite comfortable with her replacing Dr. Pickering. The staff at Eye Care was very friendly and really made me feel at home while I was there for my appointment.I also learned that I can now reorder contacts online, and they are shipped to my home address - this is a nice feature and something I consider a positive change to the way they conduct business. Thank you, Eye Care Inc!I would recommend Eye Care Inc. to anyone looking for a vision care provider, contact lenses, and glasses. In my opinion, they do a great job!

Very nice place if you enjoy being around children, teenagers and young adults. They are slower than a dead turtle. So keep this in mind.
