Love this place. Awesome staff, fun environment and everyone tries their best to be helpful. They keep their prices where they should be for Magic: The Gathering, Dungeons and Dragons and boardgames. Couldnt recommend more!

I grew up in Shreveport and visit my family there a few times a year, so when I was in town for my latest visit I popped into the store just to see what it was like. The staff were very friendly, greeted me warmly, and were happy to answer my questions about the store. If I still lived in Shreveport I would definitely become a regular, but its really cool to see that the city can enjoy a place like this. I feel like the atmosphere and experience is the most crucial element of a store like this and this place definitely seems relaxed and inviting to gamers of any experience level.

It was my first time playing in a MTG draft tournament and I never played against anyone so I was nervous, the other players and shop owner was cool helping me. I had a fun experience and even got some cards from them and left happily with 1-7.

This store is amazing. They have a large selection of cards from almost every major card game. The staff are extremely nice and welcoming, they will help newer players learn how to play games and give recommendations. By far my favorite game store in Louisiana.

Pros:Very spacious to entertain lots of people without feeling too crowded.Wide variety of tabletop games, not just mtg.Cons:Poor selection of mtg singles.Staff seems less than knowledgeable of mtg than most shops Ive been to.Staff isnt willing to help when looking for specific cards if they arent valuable. On two occasions I have gone in with decklists and was only helped if cards were in a binder or case.Trade ins dont make any sense to me. Traded in stuff on their hot list, and got less than I expected. Will not trade in the future.Overall, very mediocre visits for me. I will be looking for a better shop to regularly visit.Edit:Went from 2 stars to three.Staff has been a little more helpful and friendly in my last several visits. No store within at least an hours drive has a better selection, though still leaves a lot to be desired. Trade ins were explained to me, I was not mistaken, I was misinformed. Overall, its a decent shop, with room for improvement.

Best local shop in the area. Amazing single card selection, you would have to be blind not to see that. The staff will go out of the way to help you and are very friendly and knowledgeable. A very great game store would recommend.

GamersXP has a great atmosphere, terrific people, and extremely helpful staff. Theyll help you with any questions you have and will help you find any cards/accessories you require. Wonderful selection of cards and singles, and will help you search for anything they dont have readily available. 10/10, would recommend

This is a really cool place, they have gaming items to sell like Warhammer, D&D, and others. They have places for gaming, snack area. The prices are really good too. If you game this is for you!!! Great place.

I absolutely love gamers xp. We go to play board games with friends and I always end up buying something new and exciting. Its fun to bring your own games or use one from their free to try selections. Best place Ive found to consistently find pokemon for my nephew. The people there have been especially helpful too. The employees and patrons. We (my kids and I) met a wonderful woman there who said her name was Kat/Cat? And she helped us get some great products to get my nephew started in Pokemon game play. We bought everything she suggested and hes crazy about it all. I love the store layout and atmosphere. We visit often and the kids always ask to go when they are in town on a visit.

Just played d&d 5e there it was a blast and the staff that are running some of the games are awesome, They are super knowledgeable about what they are doing and make it fun. I would recommend coming In to the shop to see whats in it and maybe stay and talk about some Warhammer 40k or any table top game. I would recommend The Gamers xp for any table top gaming need.

This is such a great place. My son loves it. He loves to play pokemon and yugi-oh. The people here are so nice.

If you want to play Magic the Gathering or Warhammer, this is your place. If you want a real game store...well...Im not sure there is one in Shreveport so I guess youre stuck with this one.

Great place, great customers, great staff. I come here for all dungeons and Dragons related things. While they have many activities regarding Warhammer, MtG, and other games, I strictly come for their campaigns on Mondays. If you have had any thoughts about checking it out, I highly recommend to do so!

Its got a friendly and helpful staff, plenty of variety in products, tables you can game on, a room dedicated to d&d complete with minis and terrain you can use in store. Honestly cant think of a reason to give any less than 5 stars

A great place for gamers and hobbyists of all kinds. They have tables for miniature games such as Warhammer, and tables for card games like Magic: The Gathering and Pokémon TCG. The staff are knowledgeable and friendly, and the products they carry are top of the line. The whole store is also very clean and well kept. Definitely give them a visit.

Wow, I have to say, when I walked through the front doors of this place, I immediately felt at home. I have been to some other stores that were similar to this one, but Gamers XP stood out to me as one of the best. The employees there were informative, very helpful, and easy to approach and talk to. Everyone i saw in there were friendly and inviting, and it overall had a fantastic atmosphere. I would recommend that anyone who is wanting to either buy Magic: The Gathering cards, Pokémon Trading Cards, or DnD Gamebooks and guides or statues, or simply sit down and play with other people, to go and give this place a try! The only downside i can even fathom is that if you walk in, you will be leaving with some kind of nerdy addiction.

Nice expansive gaming space for cards and miniatures. Lots of sealed product as well as singles and sleeves. They take Covid precautions and have plenty of room to stay spread out. Would shop here again, but their tournaments and prize distribution isnt well thought out. Personal opinion, but when in doubt, opt out.

The best place to play MTG in the area. Everyone who works there is really nice, helpful, and knowledgeable. The community is really inviting and laid back. There are events every day of the week, so theres always something to do when you have some time. They have every pack you could want and several displays full of rares/uncommons. If you play here you will enjoy yourself.

Just went to my very first Magic Tournament here and had a great time! Awesome staff and other players were very helpful and kind, and they have a ton of snacks for very fair prices. Definitely coming back.

Easy to navigate and find product. Having all the different sleeves and deck boxes in one area made it easy to browse the different designs.

Did a magic the gathering draft here and despite some technical dificulties I had a great time, friendly staff and they advertise their schedule which is a big plus for me. Ill definately return for more draft and maybe standard.

Great little gaming store. Clean and very welcoming. Board games, warhammer, and card games everywhere with a comfy table top rpg room to the side for privacy fully stocked with dice, books, and models.

This is by far the best card shop Ive been to. They have an excellent selection of singles (for Magic: the Gathering, that is) and snacks, they have events all the time, the owners and community are very nice and talkative, they have a separate room for DnD decked out to be like an old tavern, they are clean, have many tables, have an accessible bathroom, and best of all... It doesnt smell like all the other card shops. 😉
