Rob is a wonderful guy who takes great pride and care about his work! I have been going to him for all my car needs for years and he’ll always have my business! :)
Why you would never find this place just driving around Wheaton, its well worth seeking out. Mechanics are straight-up honest, and this is by far one of the cheapest places Ive ever gotten my car fixed. The repairs are top-notch, and I highly recommend this place
Honest, helpful, quick, reasonably priced. About as good as you can get.
I am Wilson, My mother, son and his mother are long time customers of this Rip Off repair shop. The proprietor is a liar. Three times I assisted my mother returning an older model Chevrolet Malibu with relative low mile to this repair shop reporting the vehicle over heating, Three times the proprietor claims to have resolved the problem on the Fourth visit the proprietor reported that he replaced the catalytic converter along with he personally drove the car to lunch and it did not over heat. I presumed he drove the car to Dunkin Donuts which is located right next door. The repair bill $600 plus dollars. While driving the vehicle back to mothers the vehicle over heated. Returned the vehicle back to the shop which was closed. Proprietor diagnosis replacing right head and gaskets estimated cost $600 plus dollars. I made the executive decision over ruling my Mothers to seek another repair place. Located Mos off of Central Ave, estimated repair $245.00 repairing problem along with a water pump and thermostat. In short I had bad intentions for the Proprietor however Mothers requested as long as she is alive I am not to go near the Proprietor her God will right the wrong. God help the proprietor if Mother expires before I do.
I brought my car here to get the air conditioning fixed. First of all the owner is not present at the shop and the guy in charge has to call the owner for everything. The owner finally came in and approved the estimate. The owner also refused to give me a ride home 1 mile so I had to take a cab. Only 1 employee can speak english. They replaced the compressor and drier and called to say the car was ready to pick up. When I got there about a half hour later the car only blew out hot air. They obviously didnt pressure test or or even let it run for more than a few seconds. They acted surprised and tried to check it out. They put leak tester and refrigerant in, but in the wrong order and had to do it again. Then they said the evaporator now needed to be replaced. While I was watching I saw another leak in a valve they replaced. They didnt even see that leak. Their only explanation for most everything was Its old. I did not get the rest fixed there and would never go back. I would give 0 stars if possible.
I take both my work vans, and personal vehicle to Central. Always been nice and reasonably priced. Have recommended a few friends who have had nothing but good things to say.
Always got my oil change here excellent service
Top notch service. Honest and trustworthy. Highly recommended
The dealership was going to charge almost $1,900 to replace sensors for the coolant system when Central Auto Repair determined that the car needed a new radiator and replaced the radiator for about $350 (labor and parts). My Nissan Sentra is 15 years old and I will never take it to the dealership again. My new mechanic is Derrick from Central Auto.
Paul is an amazing Mechanics, a bit rough on the edge but a very knowledable individual. I would trust Paul over any Dealers. 2009 Acura RDX.
I called this place TWICE looking for a price and never even received a call back. Obviously a little thing like customer service or new business doesnt mean anything to this place. Dont waste your time.
I have been bringing my car(s) to Central Auto for almost 20 years. I am a single mom who always drives old cars that need work from time to time. Central Auto is VERY FAIR in price and they will have your car out most of the time the same day.I always like to joke that the mechanic is the best thing I got from the divorce because it was my Ex who told me about Central Auto when he got quoted a huge price somewhere else for a car he needed work on so that he went in search for a new mechanic and discovered Central Auto and then passed on the knowledge to me.Central Auto is a decent and honest shop, they dont overcharge or replace things that dont need replacing.Cant say enough good things, the mechanics will even show me my old part that they took off and the new one they put in. they never try to take advantage of me and being its a small garage, they try to get your car in and out rather than milking your clock or theirs.recommend them highly. Paul is the owner and he rocks.
Very available, reasonable and conveniently near the Wheaton metro. I have been taking my car there for years.
I got an estimate from the dealer to replace brakes on my 2007 Honda Civic. They quoted me $600. Central Auto did it in about an hour for $125. I take both of my cars there and the business truck.
Very affordable. Honest
Rude dishonest guy. Please be careful!
