Ive gone to Satellite Motors for many years and to say I have been pleased is an understatement. I have a 2008 Camry. They are trustworthy, dependable and will always explain repairs to me. Costs are fair and certainly less than a dealership. Its close to Metro so its easy to get to. I highly recommend Satellite.

These folks always do a great job servicing our cars (Prius and former Toyotas). They also communicate with the car owner very well before, during, and after service. Highly recommend them!

I chose Satellite Motors many years ago because it was a short walk from Silver Spring metro. I continue to use Satellite because the service is efficient, professional and well-priced and the prices are fair. The work is explained in as much detail as the customer wants. Expensive items on the recommended maintenance schedule are highlighted and previewed so that the customer can plan and budget accordingly. I highly recommend Satellite.

We’ve been bringing our Honda and Toyota’s to Satellite Motors for more than 15 years. Their mechanics are experts who keep up-to-date on all the latest technology, service is always on time and reasonably priced. Great value from folks I love to do business with. A couple of years ago we were driving to Maine for a family vacation and ran into mechanical problems on the NJ Turnpike. One call to Satellite gave us all the info we needed to deal with the issue while on the road and relieved all our car anxiety for the rest of our vacation. They are simply the best!

I have been taking my Toyota cars for service to Satellite Motors for more than 20 years. I have always been satisfied with: the professionalism of the business; the efficiency and expertise of the mechanics; and, the precision of the care given to my cars and the outstanding work. The owner is always available to answer questions or tell you to bring the car over for a quick fix. Finally, I believe customers are treated with respect and do not overcharge nor do work that is not needed.

I highly recommend Satellite Motors. We got their name from others in our neighborhood who had good experiences with them. We were looking for a new mechanic because we got tired of the hard sell our dealer (where we used to get maintenance) was giving us. The people at Satellite Motors are friendly and professional, taking the time to patiently explain what repairs were needed and why, and to explain why other repairs were not needed. In other words, they didnt play the you need this, this, this, and this game. I have full confidence in their integrity and their ability to do a great job. Theyve got themselves a new long-term customer in us.

My family has been bringing our cars here for over 30 years. Ive tried some other (closer) places briefly over the years but have always come back to Satellite. Moe runs this place and I feel very comfortable trusting my car to him. His team just consistently fix whats wrong, on time, at the lowest cost possible. They are currently keeping my 2003 Mitsubishi Eclipse in good shape, moving mountains to find discontinued parts. I completely trust Satellite.Also, it’s a short walk from the Silver Sprint metro so it’s not inconvenient even though I now live across town.

Straight forward visit as usual. Brought in car for needed repair Mo has been monitorin for a while. Left car overnight as repair took sometime. Was nice to see Nahlin again, one of Moes terrific employees. Ive been going to Satellite for decades and wouldnt consider taking my vehicle, a late model low mileage Toyota Camry Solara, any where else. I like the thorough way they monitor its overall health, and keep me apprised what is needs attention. Im not big on waiting until sometime breaks to repair it. I am a person who prefers to the proactive approach to the vehicle. Loyalty and continuity mean a lot to me and I am happy to see Mo and his team continue to make it through these challenging times where small business is so negatively impacted because of the pandemic. I believe I am driving a safe car because of their approach to repair. I would rather repair my car per their suggestions, than own a new car. My car has a lot of sentimental value to me and I am confident that the thorough manner in which they look after it, will continue to keep it safe to drive now and as I go forward.

Mo and his team are super thorough and takes time to explain to you everything. They even sent me pictures of the before and after of their fixes! They explained what Toyotas of my year need to run for a long time and they were open and honest about the repairs I could hold off on. I’m so glad I found them! Also very COVID safe. Mo wore a mask at all times and even has sanitizer, gloves, and masks available for all!

I have used this shop for over a decade on several Toyotas and a Nissan. They are very proficient and they deliver when promised. Add to that the shop is in walking distance to the Metro and they are friendly. I have never seen a car shop that has told me to save my money but this shop did when I thought my brake pads needed replacing. They checked them and said that the pads had over 5,000 miles left on them.

The staff at Satellite go above and beyond to provide thorough and informative advice for maintaining our two vehicles. We have been going there for over ten years and have consistently received excellent mechanical and customer service!

The web does work. I found Satellite Motors while searching for an alternative to a Toyota dealership that I had been taking my car to as I felt I was being overcharged for repair work and not being properly informed by their techs on how best to care for my vehicle. Satellite has a very helpful staff that does not give you the run around. Saved me more than $250 on shock/strut replacement that the Toyota dealership wanted to charge. Satellites tech pointed out areas on my vehicle to watch that the dealership never recommended or was willing to share. I now bring my Lexus and Toyota there for all services and repairs. A good thing for me is that Satellite is very close to the Silver Spring Metro.

If you have a Toyota, this is where you should be going. After a year or two of unpleasant experiences at the dealer, I was so happy to find Satellite Motors. They do great work, are reasonable, and they know all their customers by name. Plus, they are next to an awesome coffee shop -- Kaldis.

The team at Satellite Motors has done a great job keeping my beloved 2002 Camry running like new. They are thorough and very professional, order parts in advance, get the job done on time for the estimated price. After a local oil change shop botched the threads on our Honda Odyssey, they made a temporary fix for practically nothing, then suggested a complete repair (for a very reasonable price) the next time we had the van in for something else. I have been coming to Satellite Motors for over two years, and they are honest, dependable and for the quality of work they perform are reasonably priced. They have a passion for toyotas and Lexus but they service most Japanese makes. Every time Im waiting for my car being serviced, I hear other customers speaking very highly of them! Nahlin at the front desk is very pleasant and knowledgeable. Its reassuring that while Im waiting for my car in their cozy/ small waiting room, I often hear a female in this industry describing symptoms and diagnosis of cars. Highly recommended!!!!

More than 20 years and 6 Toyotas and I keep coming back to Satellite to take care of our cars. Service has always been outstanding and they have been very accommodating to my changing schedule, usually able to fit me in sooner rather than later. I no longer work in Silver Spring which made taking care of the cars easy, but now choose to drive there from Rockville to have my car properly taken care of. Its worth it.
