I was a client at Smyrna Eye Care since 2014. I have been there and doctors and staff have changed but I stayed with them being a loyal customer.. On Oct. 25 2021 one oy my contacts ripped. I called and spoke to Iris who sent me to Andre in the contacts dept. Andre said he could not approve giving me a courtesy pair without an appointment or order for contacts. He then sent me to Evan who was extremely condescending in speaking to me and offered no real solution other than to give me one contact that wasnt even my prescription. I left a message for the office manager Donna but dont expect to hear back. This business has traded good customer service and loyal customer over money and having employees who dont value customers.Save yourself a trip and find another place to get your eyes taken care because these people dont care about that anymore.
Cheri in the Optical area is wonderful! I have returned multiple times for adjustments to my eyeglasses and she is very good at it. And extremely patient!
Ive never had better help (or more fun) choosing a pair of frames than here with Cheri. She sized up my face shape, heard my confusion about how to update my look without going too nuts, and helped me select about twenty frames, which we quickly winnowed down to one that I couldnt be happier with (that Tiffany blue accent line!). The whole process took about 15 minutes. The eye exam is also quick and helpful, but having a really amazing personal frame shopper meant I booked another appointment with her the following month to pick out sunglasses. Excellent service!
I am a patient of this group since 2013 and have always had a great experience. In my previous review I gave them 5 stars. Right now - I changed my review to 1 star based on my latest experience with the glasses department. It was the most horrible customer service I have ever experienced.First of all - let me make sure I will specify that the doctors are really good and nice! Dr. Bowser is amazing! It is easy to get an appointment as well.Smyrna Eye Group have been great operating under Covid as well - I always felt safe and protected with the measures they apply.However, the people who work with you on the glasses and especially their manager provide horrible customer service. They are slow, they do not listen to what your problem might be, they do not care - no intention to be helpful. They just tell you this is this and refuse to listen to what you may experience. Especially when they see a little old grandma like me, they really do not care... My problem was very simple - my glasses were falling of off my head. The handles needed to be tighten up. Not sure why the manager @Smyrna Eye Group had to be so rude - he even raised his voice at me! So sad!!! After I left the premises, I stopped by another optometry shop and they fixed my problem for about 7 min.Discourage to use this establishment until they fix their customer service.
My recent visit to Smyrna Eye Group was probably the best that I have experienced overall when it comes to eye exams and choosing glasses. I was nervous because I was visiting a new doctor but she turned out to be the very best that I have experienced overall. Dr. Vuong took the time to explain every detail of my issues, she was thorough in the eye exam to ensure that I had the correct prescription for my lenses. She took the time to listen to every issue that I was experiencing and she addressed every sing one of them. I am beyond pleased with my new doctor. I hope she never leaves. Then to top it off, Florence who assisted me with choosing the perfect pair of glasses went above and beyond to ensure that I was pleased with my glasses. She noticed that I was not completely satisfied and recommended that we keep trying until I found the perfect pair. She chose better glasses for me than I chose for myself. This visit was outstanding. I can’t say enough. I are home and called all of my family and friend and recommended Dr. Vuong and Florence. Top notch team!
My experience was excellent. The staff was courteous. I did not have to wait long to see the doctor, and Dr.Devin Wieseckel was very thorough and patiently and efficiently explained his findings in terms that I can easily understand.I will definitely recommend this site to anyone.Keep up the good work Smyrna Eye Group, P.C.
Yesterday, I had the worst experience when I visited Smyrna Eye Group. The manager in the eye glasses section was extremely rude and unprofessional. There is a certain level of courtesy and customer service that is expected but this guy came out very confrontational, not listening to what I had to say. It seems like he knew it all. After giving up and trying to walk away he basically followed me and pretty much verbally harass me on my way out. I was so disappointed and frustrated with the bad customer service that I walked out and left the the brand new glasses that I ordered that were not usable.
I just moved to the Smyrna/Vinings area and had to find a new Optometrist. Smyrna Eye Group accepted new patients with my insurance. I’m happy to say that they are professional, I experienced great service and they saw me within minutes of being checked in. In addition, they are following really great COVID-19 protocols to keep both their patients and employees safe. The Optometrist was knowledgeable and didn’t rush me out of his office as most do. He was thorough and really heard my requests and concerns. Appreciate this office.
When I moved here I used Target Optical and the Eyelab. Both times I was either disappointed with the glasses or the treatment. Eyelab uses remote docs that arent even in the room with you. Great price though; right? No - you always spend your money on glasses no matter where you. So why not see Dr. Bowser and then have Cheri help you pick our your eyeglass frames. She was a great help - I absolutely hate picking out glasses because its just too much choice and in the middle of a heavy workday I just dont have it but she helped me zero in on the style I like and then surprise told me my current frames could be used for the computer specs I ordered! This is why you go to Smyrna Eye Group - your insurance isnt going to pay more just because you go to Target or Eyelab. If you want to spend less on frames and lenses then at least go to a doctor who is actually in the room and will give you your prescription and you can get glasses anywhere.
Do not visit this eye care center. After 3 phone calls I was finally able to get a follow-up appointment for a scratch repair on my lenses. Showed up for the 8:15 appointment to find the doors locked and they did not allow anyone in until 8:35. Then they crowd everyone in the small closed entry way to wash their hands and wait for the receptionist. Then when we complained about the the wait time, they told us they were in a staff meeting. Complete disregard for the customer. This mirrors our first appointment when we bought the eye glasses. They rush you through everything, try to up sell you on every options without explaining your choices versus your medical plan benefits. I only went back this time because of the warranty that we paid for. Will never go back!
Unfortunately, Dr. W is great but this office is really not good. The office staff is rude and dont answer questions. If possible try to find somewhere else that respects and appreciates their clients as the office here does not.
I was just refused service because I had my minor child with me. I was given the option to leave him outside in the car all by himself, and once I refused, I was refused service. The font office manager would not even put in writing that I was refused serbice because I would not leave my minor son alone in the car. I told them that it is against the state law. I had an appointment at 8am, I didnt wait long at all. The technician and doctor were pleasant and thoroughly explained everything to me. The location is easy in and easy out - perfect as I was on my way to work afterwards.
I was in and out quickly. The staff was great and offered superior service and assistance in selecting my frames.
Had me waiting over an hour and they lost my eyeglasses. The eye exam, attention and explanation from Dr Barbara Koloze was very professional and polite, Im really going to miss her, the problem started after the consultation. The team in charge of the frames and lenses kept my eyeglasses for install the new lenses with my new prescription, then they called me to pickup my eyeglasses 1 week later. When I went to pickup my eyeglasses I was left waiting for over an hour and nobody told me what was going on until the manager Keith heared when I was asking to reception what was happening, Keith did a great job listening and handling my concerns then he found out their department lost my eyeglasses, he told me will escalate to that department manager and call me later to avoid having me keep waiting there. The next week the department manager Evin called me and after a few calls and days asked me to return to choose a new frames 12 days later my first appointment. When I went onsite Evin treat me very rude and without respect, he threatened me to choose fast a new frame to have me leaving the store quickly or they would close for lunch eventhough I paid over $400 the week before for the eye exam and new lenses(I went at 10 AM they close at 12 for lunch). When I went on the floor to choose a new frame I was told by the associate to only choose from the PUMA brand but my original frames which I bought there were Dolce & Gabbana which I paid over $200, so of course I refused to accept a cheap brand which frames were under $150 and was told they dont have Dolce&Gabbana, then the associate said I could choose a Armani or RayBan up to $265 but then immediately Evin came outside yelling it wont be necessary for me to choose new frames and carrying my original frames on his hands, then I was left waiting again for over 40 minutes until they finished cutting the lenses and finally the employee came out with my eyeglasses and gave them to me in my hands, no bag nor cover or anything eventhough I paid $432 for this and ussually they put them in a bag with a cloth and solution bottle, I grabbed them and left (was there from 10AM to 12PM). I am very upset for all the messed up with my eyeglasses and the long waiting in the reception both days, they never communicated properly about what was happening and I was treated very bad like if somehow it was all my fault when it was their fault losing my eyeglasses in the first place, the treatment Evin gave me was very rude and disrespectful and I was left without no other option but to accept whatever he offered me or said because they were paid in full in advance. After being a customer of them since many years and being treated so badly, needless to say I will never comeback nor ever recommend them and Im taking my bussines somewhere else. It was a horrible experience that doesnt worth the long driving from Buckhead to Smyrna eventhoug I moved out from Smyrna a couple of years ago. Never again.
My 12 year old daughter had an eye appointment here. Her Mother and her two year old sister came with her. Upon arrival she was immedately turned away and told she could not be seen because of her 2 year old sister. Apparently her Mother only listed herself and my daughter and failed to mention she had a 2 year old. Totally unacceptable and unprofessional. So we make time out of our busy schedule and lives to choose your business to be turned away because of a child. Do you turn away babies, toddlers,or all children? Do you only discriminate against children or would her elderly Grandparents get the same treatment. Piece of advice to the Manager/General Manager of this location, learn to be accomodating. People have children, babies, toddlers who they may not list since they are not being seen. Also change your attitude and philosophy there are many eyedoctors in Smyrna and the surrounding areas that would have been more accomodating rather than saying you have to reschedule. That is unacceptable.

I have been going to this establishment for 20 or 30 years. So long Ive lost count. I would never even consider going anywhere else. Everyone is very professional and they have always seen me at my appointed time if not before. I have never had any problems with anyone in this office.
Excellent service, and i loved the modern equipment. Dr. Vuong was very patient and took the time to explain my results thoroughly and in a way that i could understand them as a novice. I highly recommend Smyrna Eye Group.
I felt welcomed at this eye clinic, and the doctor and staff were friendly in getting me seen quickly and helping me search for glasses. I was however misled in the beginning thinking that the total for my new glasses and copay was one price when it was actually more than double that. Then, the lady at the register added another $10 on to the price at the register. It would be good for staff to be more knowledge about pricing and benefits so that the client will know if he/she can afford everything before making a hasty decision. Other than that, I will most likely be back.
I do not like to put companies or anyone on blast, but after all of my failed attempts at a resolution with Smyrna Eye Group, I am going to do just that. I ordered glasses from them and ended up disliking them very much. They refused to refund my money & my insurance also refused to refund me; but promised they’d help me find new frames. They took back my brand new lenses & frames, while they ordered a few frames for me to try, but never did and never contacted me back, nor never responded to my multiple emails. Not only did I lose out on my eye insurance benefits for the year by ordering these glasses that Smyrna Eye Group took back, but Smyrna Eye Group also has $120 of my own money as well. I barely make much money & getting new glasses was a big expense for me that I saved up for, for a while. Now I’m out of all that money AND new glasses.
LOVE Smyrna Eye Group! The staff are professional and polite. The Doctor was very informative when it came to explaining the issues I’ve been having with my vision lately. Just an all around great experience! I have now referred all of my family and friends to check them out and I highly recommend you do the same!
I just needed some small repairs on my glasses because I broke them. I stopped by without an appointment and they saw me immediately, and had them fixed within a few minutes

First timer with eye care and this practice and I truly appreciate their handling from the initial call to checkout. up to date machines, clean and spacious, follows covid guidelines yet still Inever felt rushed or unheard. Maria and Roberly were my medical technicians during my visit, they were instrumental in my visit flow, friendly yet professional and informative. All my question s got an immediate answer no hmm or umms. I met with Dr. Bowser, hes the first to tell you hes a visual guy (which lines up with his occupation 😉) so he explains with picture examples, easy medical terms so you can follow along, super thorough and GREAT bedside manners. I felt hearddd and no question felt silly. It goes without saying that I recommend you see him if youre interested in this practice. Id say more but Ill stop here, just know your eyes are sensitive and precious and who you pick to care for them should love doing it with a passion (like Dr.Bowser 😉) thank you Maria and Robely you ladies made my first time an awesome one!
I had a great visit and really appreciated the professionalism of this practice. Ive had lasik, which can make subsequent eye exams tricky, but Dr. Vong was awesome. She was efficient and helped to get my prescription set quickly. Im excited for my new computer glasses and look forward to coming back in the future.
The best doctor I have ever had in the last 25 years and her name is Dr. Hadadi. I can not rave about her enough. Dr. Hadadi, really cares about her clients and their vision above and beyond the call of duty. If my medical would stop, I would pay her directly out of my pocket for her wonderful care and detail of everything. Blessings to Dr. Hadadi, and her wonderful staff. Such a large choice of glasses and contacts. One stop shop.
I visited Smyrna Eye Group to purchase new frames and was informed that my insurance would not cover new frames for another 2 months. Completely my fault for not reading my coverage in advance of the appointment. I was disappointed especially since my only pair of reading glasses would not stay on my face without me holding them in place due to the hinges being broken. I was being assisted by Evin and he offered to try and repair my damaged glasses (no charge) while I waited. Evin came back about 15 minutes later and my glasses were as good as new!!! Talk about excellent customer service and going above and beyond. Thank you Evin, Ill be back in January to purchase a new pair of glasses.
My husband and I both went to have our eyes checked and had an excellent experience. We were each in and out in half an hour. The staff was all kind, courteous, and efficient. All equipment was wiped down in front of us before being used. We will definitely be using them for our regular checkups and any other vision needs in the future.
I was reluctant to get new glasses at this time due to the CoVid outbreak, but I needed them. I was very impressed that the safety was a very high priority in this office - from hand washing, to test frames being sanitized before I tried them on. Dr. Wieseckel is really awesome. Not only do I get great treatment, but great scuba diving tips also.
Great place for the family eye exams and glasses. Large selection of glasses, but they can be a little pricey. The doctors are professional and patient. Dr. Hadadi is great with older patients. She takes time to explain what she is doing and answers questions.
Their receptionists and billing department have A LOT to work on. Its a shame really, the place is nice and the doctors are okay but when you go to a not so affordable place like this you expect it to have at least a decent costumer service.Its very unfortunate cause this place is walking distance from my house but I rather drive somewhere else.
I went to see an eye doctor here before Covid in January 2020. While my experience with the doctor was phenomenal, the front desk staff and sales staff were not. You can immediately see how the health aspect of my visit turned into a slightly aggressive sales push outside of the exam room. The staff seemed mostly stressed. I decided to buy my glasses elsewhere.
IF I COULD GIVE THIS REVIEW 0 STARS I WOULD. I HAVE BEEN COMING HERE FOR 6 YEARS AND HAVE APPRECIATED THE CUSTOMER SERVICE AND HELPFULNESS FROM EVERYONE HERE ESPECIALLY DR. HADADI. BUT TODAY I WAS TREATED SO POORLY BY ALICIA AT THE FRONT DESK AND EVIN WHO SHE BROUGHT FROM THE BACK WHO WAS EQUALLY AS RUDE. I WILL NEVER COME BACK TO THIS PLACE AS DURING THIS TIME THAT WE OUR IN BEING TREATED KINDLY AND RECEIVING GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE IS REALLY IMPORTANT. IT’S UNFORTUNATE THAT THIS PLACE HAS REALLY GONE DOWN THE DRAIN. COUPLED WITH HIGH GLASS PRICES, LIMITED SELECTION, AND LONG WAIT TIMES TO RECEIVE GLASSES THIS PLACE IS NO LONGER WORTH IT.
We have finally left this practice after a couple of years of trying to make it work. We like our individual doctor, but the office seems mismanaged, inflexible, and has cancelled appointments for us twice in the past year with no way to make a timely reschedule.
This team has it all down! From the time you walk into the office until the time you leave, they get you in and out with cleanliness and safety in mind. I was very impressed.
Dr. Harper and all of the staff are very courteous and professional. I previously visited another Eye Group that had horrific customer service. The Smyrna Eye Group always follows up after the visit.
Always quick and always thorough. Now with Covid being a thing they provide a quick, clean, and pretty much no contact service. I was very impressed.
I have zero issues with Dr. Koloze - she is fabulous, thorough, and takes the time to explain everything and answer all questions. I do however think the Covid protocols are a bit ridiculous. First 2 people from the same family can not enter at the same, only one person allowed into the building at once, but it was ok to have 1 person wait in the lobby with random strangers??? Secondly, the party that came in after me was seen before me. The last issue I have is that you can not touch nor try on any of the frames, I am not spending potentially hundreds of dollars on a new pair of glasses that I am unable to try on, perhaps you could clean the glasses after being tried on vs. just not letting anyone try them on.

I am writing to let you know what poor service and receptionists you have. My appointment was at 8:45am this morning. Apparently, they could not find my insurance member if. They waited until the last minute and expected me to home yesterday from work to wait on a call from them. First of all, they should have taken care of this a long time ago. The appointment has been on the books for at least a month.Then the Fluffy receptionist with glasses to the left had a horrible attitude from when I walked in. She talks to you as if you are their child. I know i have to be at 25 years older than her. I ignored her and went to the receptionist to the right. That receptionist had trouble finding my VSP member ID. They put no effory into calling the company .I called the company and spoke with the manager and got id. Again Fluffy, inserted herself into my conversation . She was mad because i didnt do what she told me to when she wanted me to do it. Such as coming to her desk. I said do you not see me pulling up my pants before I come over. Her attitude got worse. She saw i had the mask around me . I had to pull it down to speak with insurance company. In the midst of me trying to get myself together to come to here her, she told me to put my mask on in a Condescending way. I had enough of her at the point. She attempted to stared me down as if she wanted to fight me. I staired right back at her. If she wanted to fight I was ready.When i got the number for the other receptionist, she wanted to reschedule me which was rude. I already had to wait over a month to see the doctor . I had an eye that was in pain. Then because they never settled getting my insurance member id when i scheduled which again was over a month ago, i had to take time and talk to the insurance people to get it. And then she thought i was going to schedule again a month down the road with a painful eye issue. If thats your policy, its rude. I got another doctor to see mr this afternoon.Hire better people who know how to communicate. Customers are leaving and i see why. This will go under yoyr reviews as well. And I expect to hear from someone about this. If not I will upgrade yhe issue to your corporate office.
Smyrna Eye Group, P.C. is a professional, friendly and very customer service oriented business. My young adult son was home from college and woke up with a weird vision issue and Smyrna Eye Group immediately squeezed him in for a appointment. The staff spoke with me over the phone to explain what the issue was. Every interaction with Smyrna Eye Group has been a awesome experience. I also received the same stellar treatment for my own personal vision exam and contact/glasses fitting.
I really appreciate Smyrna Eye Group team and I would recommend them to anyone. I was really impressed by Wynne who had a lot of patience around my 2 boys. He really helped us choose the best glasses that are comfortable and amazing. I hope others would have the same experience like I did. That is why I chose this rating. Ive tried giving this place opportunity after opportunity but Im done. They have terrible customer service and nickel and dime you. A few years ago, the dr said my contact lens prescription had changed and prescribed new lenses. I got home and everything was blurry. When I went back to the office, they tried to tell me I had to keep the old lenses and needed to charge me for the correct ones. Just a glimpse into how this place operates.
I should have read the reviews before coming here. First, they say they take Medicaid then when you schedule appointment they say they are not accepting new patients at this time. Could have told me that when I called. Well my daughter has to have special lenses so we know it takes at least 3 weeks before they come back. It has been 7 1/2 weeks and the 1st explanation was insurance probably didnt approve yet really?! Probably or was it?? 2nd explanation was better. I raised by one star bc of this one. At least the supervisor read notes on file that said lenses didnt pass inspection. All we asked for was communication.
My recent visit to Smyrna Eye Group was nothing short of amazing. Wynne has superb customer service skills! He was patient, helpful and certainly professional. It is not easy deciding which glasses to purchase - he assisted by selecting options and allowed me to carefully decide. I cant wait to pick up my glasses soon!
Dr. Harper is very professional, informative and friendly. The staff is very helpful and efficient. The office is very well run. Easy to make appointment, easy to register. Practically I never had significant waiting time.
Ive been going to this eye practice for 15+ years...Even with their overprice glasses and occasional rude staff. I am so discouraged and sickened by the fact that they refused to make an exception for me to bring my son into their office for my daughters appointment. I was simply told that our covid-19 policy, youll just have to make other arrangements even after I explained that unfortunately, I dont have any way to make any other arrangements at this time and my daughter NEEDS to be seen, as she is having some eye issues. I will NOT be returning to this practice. Neither will ANY member of my family. Its a shame that a whole practice is willing to lose business instead of being considered and compassionate to their patients. This behavior speaks volume to the inhumane, inconsiderate, and lack of sympathy that is displayed across the country. I guess being sympathetic and caring to humans is NOT one of the pillars of The Smyrna Eye Group. Sad!
My recent experience with Smyrna Eye Group was very pleasant. The receptionist was very welcoming and directed to me to someone that could assist me with my needs. There was absolutely no wait. Wynne came to greet me with a smile and he assisted me with everything. Instead of fixing my old glasses, I got new ones. He even helped pick them out. (Most places they tell you to pick out your own glasses and venture off). Wynne’s customer service was outstanding. Came in not really feeling the day but like everyone says a smile is contagious. I left Smyrna Eye Group with a new pair of glasses ordered and smile! Thanks Wynne !
Wow, just wow. I had my first appointment here this morning with Dr. Wieseckel and it couldnt have gone any better. I was back in the exam room in just a few minutes, he answered every question, and helped me to hone in on a prescription that will help me tremendously while Im in front of the computer. He also helped squeeze me into a frame fitting without having an appointment, which was greatly appreciated. From there, Demetrics was such a pleasure to work with and he immediately helped me find a pair of frames that I loved.Overall, a fantastic experience, from start to finish. So glad I decided to begin going to Smyrna Eye Group!
Great overall experience. Check-in was easy and the appointment was prompt to start and very thorough. During the check-up with my doctor, I was able to have all of my questions answered, and left feeling the appointment was worth it.
This location do not waste your time the lady on phone schedule me for 9am an then I get there they said they have me for 8:45am ... never agreed to 8:45 I wrote down what I heard an I heard 9 am got there an they will not take me at 9 an there is no one in the building talking abt the doctor is busy .... I’ll take my black money somewhere else no problem no I know.
I have been to this place several times in the past 4 weeks and on any given day the service is always great and welcoming. They treat you as a patient and not like a annoying window shopper. Granted I had been a little disappointed with the frame selection but the young man assured me that they had something for everyone. He said he had 8 sisters so he was built with patience since birth. 😂 Now while styling me for my new frames I was also looking on line for colors and styles that I would like to see. The staff here help me not only find something similar to that but in a better price point. They even have these tablet things that give you a demo of what you’re getting and how it looks. I read these reviews and I still wanted to check it out for my self. Sometimes people have unrealistic expectations or just wanna be cheap and complain because it’s there only outlet. ( reviews and internet rants) The staff here didn’t try to sell me on anything the I didn’t need or dismiss me because I wasn’t buying that day. They even have a in office lab that can sometimes give you a quicker time on your order. It’s my fault because I didn’t understand my insurance benefits and once that is straightened out I am not only coming here but I am bringing my dad as well because he has cataracts and needs someone that has compassion and patience.
I paid for my sons glasses in November and we received them in January. I wont go through all the specifics but between the awful customer service and the two mistakes that they blamed on the lab, made this quite the experience... and if you ever have to speak with Donna, the office manager, youll understand why this place is so poorly ran.

I was a bit concerned about my most recent appointment as it was during the current pandemic, however, any concerns that I had were put to rest upon my arrival. The wait time between check in and being seen by Dr. Bowser was less than 10 minutes. Dr. Bowser was thorough and courteous as always. The entire visit went smoothly and the wait time was amazing. I would highly recommend Smyrna Eye Group and ask for Dr. Bowser.
Great experience! All the way from eye exams, picking out frames, and receiving them. After picking up my frames, Mr. Wynne made sure that fit was perfect. The staff here is prompt and friendly. Smyrna Eye Group is the place to go for all your vision needs.

Unfortunately, Smyrna Eye Group is no longer the place it used to be. The customer service there is atrocious. I went in to order replacement glasses for my son. The gentleman who helped me started off the conversation like he was doing me a service simply to speak with me. Knowing the sense of urgency I had to order the replacement pair I just dealt with it. I had to get my sons most recent prescription sent from another eye group. I had it faxed/emailed at the beginning of the week, but also had the assurance from the guy from Smyrna Eye Group that he would also follow-up with the other company since there is a loose affiliation with some of the optometrists working in both locations. I called back a week later to check the status. The guy who was supposed to order my glasses wouldnt take my call but he told the receptionist to relay a message that he received the prescription 15 minutes prior to my call (BS). He was supposed to call me back, but 2 hours later Im still waiting. Trust me when I say this place is not worth your time and money.
Dwayne was very friendly and patient with me in my selection of new glasses. Although I was indecisive with my choice and did leave the store to shop elsewhere, it was Dwayne who phoned me to let me know of a new arrival. Well that got me back in the store and the rest is history. Although the new arrival did fit my face (to small) Dwayne was spot on with the style. Which brings me to another thing. Please Please get some larger stylish frames. Big head people lol (like me) need something that will pop!
Extremely unprofessional staffs and definitely unfriendly services. If you are loaded and willing to be another lamb waiting to be slaughtered, this is the place to go. If you want some genuine people help you with your lenses, go away and avoid this place. For more than 800, you can get a pair of decent glasses anywhere else without feeling being punished. Avoid this place!
If I could give them a negative number I would - I called and scheduled an appointment and was asked if I had any symptoms of COVID-19 and I stated No. Not once during this process, did they tell me I had to wear a mask. As a person who has severe anxiety in new situations (poor dentists) it is not easy for me to wear anything over or around my face. I was denied service and so I walked out. How do people who suffer from anxiety ever expect to have any type of medical service going forward.
They gave me the wrong prescription for my contacts and when I called nobody wanted to help me. My mother in-law goes to Pearle Vision so I decide to check it out and it was the best decision I’ve made. I was being charged 120 to 160 every time and that was with my insurance . Now I only pay 46 dollars at Pearle Vison co pay and for my contacts.
Very very disappointed. Ended up paying $108 for their mistake. Purchased glasses but the lady who helped me did not know how to order the lenses correctly to match my subscription. Told me no refunds no exception. Plus a $100 re-stock fee for their mistake so might as well get them fixed.
This is the worst eyeglass place I have ever been to. The 3 employees up front forced me to wait in the car while my mom and sister we’re in their appointment. I had to stay in a hot car in 90 degree weather for a whole hour. If something were to happen to me this place would’ve been in HUGE trouble. The waiting area had zero people in there and they wouldn’t let me wait there. I don’t recommend coming here AT ALL. Shame on you all especially those 3 women at the front desk.
I gave them multiple chances because 1)it’s close to my house, 2) they offer Saturday appts, and 3) I liked Dr Hadadi.But the front office is awful, and today was the third and final straw for me.-Last year they lost my insurance. I got several nasty voicemails the day before my appointment INSISTING I had never given it to them (I had) and threatening to cancel my appointment, which I made months in advance.-My husband had to fight with them about his insurance, even though we have the exact same policy and they’ve billed it before, no issues.-This year my appointment was canceled due to COVID. I can understand that. But they sent an email saying, “DO NOT call us to reschedule, we’ll call you.” Two months later, I still had no appointment, so I called them, and got an, “Oh yeah, we canceled you. You can come in Saturday.”The day of my appointment, I arrived 5 minutes early, only to be told that I was 10 minutes late and would have to reschedule.Turns out they had shifted my appointment to 15 minutes earlier. And they refused to see me.TL;DR- decent doctors, but I’m tired of wondering what drama I’ll have to face with the front office at every appointment.
Excellent experience! The doctor was thorough, the office was clean. Several top notch eyeglass brands to choose from. My purchase experience with Mariana was amazing. She was phenomenal. It felt like I bought a best friend with me to choose a frame. Will definitely go back.

I purchased my eyeglasses from here about 10 months ago and the frames have come apart 2 times not broken just come apart like it may be a manufactures defect. The first time they replaced the frames but the second time I was told there was nothing they could do for me by the person in charge of the frame department. I requested the manager and was told she was not in, so I called back and left several messages for her but she never returned my calls. I guess if you call this good customer service you may want to do business here. I am going to take my business where the manager would at least call me back.
Last week I had an issue with my eye. I called my normal eye doctor and they couldnt seem to fit me in. So I called Smyrna Eye Group. Once I told them it was an emergency they said they could see me that same day. Checking is the easier process I have ever seen. ALL of the staff was super friendly and made you feel comfortable. I saw Dr. Barbara Koloze. She was so nice!!! Very thorough. Found the problem and prescribed some medicine. The lady who helped me find a pair of glasses was also very nice. I let her know I was on a budget. I went back for a follow up on Tuesday. When I called to schedule it they were all booked up but the doctor was able to squeeze me in which I was very grateful for. The service once again exceeded my expectations. Super nice, very friendly and very clean. I HIGHLY recommend this place to anyone.
I like to give positive feedback where it is deserved - we live in such a negative society. This is an excellent facility with a courteous, efficient staff. I was very pleased and will return. The optometrist was professional and knowledgeable. The young lady who helped me choose frames was very friendly and efficient. I am so happy to find an optometrist so close to home that I like.
My ex supervisor recommended Dr. Weiss when we worked on Windy Hill Road. Our company has since moved to downtown Atlanta and I live east of Atlanta, but, I could not imagine going any where else for an Eye Appointment. My first office visit went smoothly from scheduling to checkout. I was able to get in same day while I was having a concern regarding my eye. Checkin in quick and efficient. Dr. Bowser is very nice and explains everything very clearly. He even walks you to checkout and waits in line with you until he passes your paperwork over to checkout! Smryna Eye Group was an excellent experience! I loved how advanced the equipment and staff were. The kiosk used to check in saved a lot of time. Dr. Wieseckel was excellent! He went into great detail about the health of my eye. I’ve never felt so informed and comfortable with an optometrist. They also offer a wide selection of high end frames. Perfect for everyone in the family.
Went in today for my eye exam and I couldnt be any more pleased with my visit. The doctor I saw was very informative and patient with me. Mariana helped me pick out my frame and she was absolutely great! I definitely recommend this office !
This location was in a solid location and had good reviews. After a couple visits though, it became clear what a mess this location is. The optometrists seem nice enough, but Ive had nothing but problems with the office. Last time I visited they said they would reschedule me for a contact lens fitting - great thats fine. They never called/emailed to rescheduled me. First thing youll realize, they are AWFUL about following up when they say they will do something.I tried to call 5+ times to schedule this since I figured it was just a miss on their end. Everyone makes mistakes. However, every time I called and was redirected to the contact lens department, I was forwarded to a different internal number and they NEVER picked up or even checked their voicemail to call me back.I gave up. Next thing I know i get a BILL for the contact lens fitting that was never completed because they cant be bothered to pick up the phone. Absurd.I scheduled a meeting to pay the bill and get my contact lens fitting and told them that I was sick and tired of trying to get in touch with someone and getting billed for services that were not rendered. They finally scheduled my visit and tried to charge me AGAIN FOR THE SAME FITTING with some BS about how they have to recharge me 3 months after the exam.Suffice it to say Ill never be back here again.
This has been the worse experience with ophthalmology I could have ever experience. This business has no sense of customer service and is extremely rude and unprofessional as well as careless. Plus they over charged me without an explanation or a reciept. My opinion.... do not book with this business.
We see Dr Barbara Koloze . Very nice, great personality and great patient care.She is very thorough and takes the time to explain diagnosis. We drive a long way to see her, but we trust her and it is well worth the drive.
Excellent first experience. My right eye contact had not been fitting properly. The doctor took the time to try multiple contacts to ensure the fit and feel was right. Very patient, and an excellent experience. The facility is very nice, and I enjoyed the option to not have to have my eyes dilated. Thanks!
Ive been to Smyrna Eye Group twice now for my annual eye appointment and have been very pleased both times. The two Doctors I have seen (Dr. Koloze and Dr. Hadadi) were both thorough, educational and kind; I felt very confident in their examination and explanation of results. Ive also worked with the front staff to purchase both glasses and sunglasses and had a seamless experience both times. The wait time for service in the retail area can be a bit longer than anticipated, but the service outweighed that in my opinion.
We recently changed to the Smyrna Eye Group for our optical needs. It was a great experience. The facility is first-class and the service was great! Their structure does not include an all inclusive pricing for services. However, its worth every dime. After wearing glasses/contacts for over 30 years, Ive experienced a vast array of optical groups. This was by far my best experience.

She did a great job answering all my questions and finding the best contacts for my needs. The selection of designer frames is amazing and very affordable. The staff helped me pick the best frames for my face and were courteous with my budget when it came to choosing a lens. I would definitely recommend this practice to anyone in the area.
I called numerous times to try and get an appointment. The insurance dept machine always answers and I received a call back once. I was unable to take the call and have not been able to set up an appt after leaving numerous messages. Terrible customer service.

It takes a long time to get called from their waiting list just to BOOK an appointment here if you use Medicaid, and the selection is slim. But the doctors are thorough and friendly. The women who show the eyeglass selection arent especially friendly most times, but the front desk staff always is.
I went to drop my glasses up for a replacement and I was told (rudely) by the front office staff I needed to wait 45min to 1 hour, because I was 5 minutes late to the agreed time, she didn’t try to help or listen that I didn’t need an appointment, then I was asked to wait outside on my car. Terrible customer service.
First time patient and had the best experience with an eye care service! Everyone was extremely friendly and helpful.I had an appointment for just an eye exam, but ultimately left with a receipt for new glasses. I wasnt planning on getting any that day, but the prices seem fair and the frame styles are modern. I ordered glasses on Saturday Nov. 7 and was ready on Nov. 19 (the frames had to be shipped since the color I wanted was not in stock).I have been wearing my new glasses for a day now and they are crystal clear compared the my previous glasses. I did also pay more to get an anti-scratch coat on my lens, so if they scratch in the future, they will replace the lens free of charge.Highly Recommend this place! And yes, the restrooms are really clean.
It has been YEARS since I have been to an eye doctor that I felt confident with. I saw a new doctor there, Dr. Caitlin Byrne. She was so thorough and would not let me leave until she knew I was in the perfect contact lens. I have been wearing the wrong lens for years (contact wasnt sitting correctly on my eye due to astigmatism) and now they fit perfectly. In addition, their office is run very professionally and everyone was very kind. Extremely satisfied and highly recommend.
My family and I have visited here many times and my experiences have been positive with the doctors. My most recent visit was by far the best. I brought my mom in for her annual visit with Dr. Hadadi. Dr. Hadadi was so kind and patient with my mother. She took the time to explain everything to her so that she was informed about the heath of her eyes. Often, seniors are overlooked and the doctors will talk with the person that brought the older patient in for the visit. This was not the case with her. She is a jewel and I definitely appreciate how she took time to do a though visit with my mother.
I got here early and was seen promptly at my appointment time. The staff thoroughly explained all questions I had about adding services and were extremely friendly. The doctor I saw answered all of my questions in a way I could understand and was patient with me while trying on contacts, even when I realized I was wrong at the last minute and asked to go back to the other pair! They have a lot of brands and styles of glasses and I found a gorgeous pair, theyll take 7-10 business days to come in but the lady said they usually come in earlier. She even helped me take off unnecessary stuff (anti-glare that was $100) since the glasses will just be my backups and I wasnt trying to spend $700 on them lol. Overall, I would definitely come back to this office and I highly recommend it.
This is truly the best eye doctor I have been to in a while. The office is fabulous and the ease of the intake automation is superb. I also love the machine that took pictures of my retina without having to dilate. I gladly spent the extra $36 on it to prevent hours of blurriness afterwards. Dr. Hadadi was very informative as well as sweet and down to earth. They will continue to get my business.

This place without a doubt has the worst customer service of any eyeglass place ever. Doctors got my prescription wrong and treated me like it was my fault. i had heard before that the service here was bad but I try not to judge soley based on what others say. i may have to rethink my philosophy.
So I stopped by Smyrna Eye Group PC earlier today to see if they could put a new screw in my glasses. The young lady took my glasses went back into the background and in less than a minute came out and said that she couldnt fix them because the frame was bent and she was afraid she would damage the frame if she tried to replace the screw. Mind you the screw was already falling out. She advised me to take them where I purchased them after which I told her I had just moved to Smyrna so that wasnt possible. The frames were purchased in another city. I drove about a half mile down to Clarkson Eye Care and they spent several minutes trying different screws until they found one and presto instant fix. No charge. I stopped first at Smyrna Eye Group because Im new to the area and its an impressive place, lots of staff, huge office etc. Not impressed and wont be back. It is what it is I have no affiliation with either of these businesses but one helped me at no charge and another failed to because it apparently was too much trouble. Neither place ws busy. Today Tuesday July 2 mid-day.
The people at Smyrna Eye Group are the friendliest group of people that Ive had the pleasure of meeting. I dropped my glasses just as the door closed... You guessed it.. BLAM!!!!! In the door it was caught... Smashed. Beyond repair.. So I thought.In the door and out within 20 minutes and my glasses are as good as new.... Would recommend them to anyone...
