I worked with an agent at this store named Austin. He was absolutely fantastic! He gave me great advice on getting moving supplies and helped make sure that the trailer that we rented was going to work with our vehicle and that the lights are going to connect properly, etc. He was very knowledgeable and very pleasant to work with. I will definitely come back to this location as a result of the service I received today from Austin. Thank you very much!

I will never rent from U-Haul again after today’s experience. Made a reservation for one location. They switched location to 10 miles away several day before because they didn’t have a truck available anymore. When asked if the extra mileage would be waived, they were useless (they would not). Showed up to pick up my truck at this further location, told it was the last day of the month and college moves and they had no truck. I had movers lined up waiting, a storage unit I had to vacate and they did nothing.Cheap is always better. I’ve never had issues with Penske. Next time I’ll pay more and enjoy the experience. This was a nightmare. And I witnessed 4 other people with the exact same situation. Useless customer service.

A van was given to me with a tire with dangerous low tread. The GM at this location is very rude. Her boyfriend is employed there and they run it like mafia movies. Waiting on the regional manager to see if he is willing to listen to my concerns. Go to another location. It will save you time and money

Ordered a hitch installation in December (so that I can add a bike rack to my car). Showed up for the appointment and was told the part wasnt there. There wasnt a call or email to tell us prior to our arrival. There also wasnt an apology. The woman at the location was unbelievably rude and couldnt care less about the situation. I called U-Hauls overall customer service and they were apologetic and explained some things have been delayed. 5 months later I am canceling my order as it has yet to arrive. I called another business, and received confirmation of the parts availability as well as an appointment the same day.

Literally the worst uhaul Ive ever been at in my entire life. Customer service is horrible even from the manager. The truck broke down on me mid move and it took 2 hours for somebody to get there 15 min away. Never again. Beware. Theres a wayyy better option a couple miles up the road.

Always friendly staff. Easy in and out for supplies and trucks. We will definitely be back!

I returned a trailer here which I had rented in Colorado. The specified return location did not exist. Another location was closed even though I was within their posted hours of operation. Another location had no space on their tiny lot. I finally brought it here and a gentleman named Rich was very helpful. Professional and friendly. If I were hiring someone, Id want to hire him!!! Thanks for the genuine customer service, Rich! People like you are hard to find these days. I had already spent over an hour on the phone trying to change my return location and got nowhere with the U-Haul Help Center after being transferred and put on hold numerous times! Rich just took care of everything and saved the day. Thanks again, Rich!

“CAUTION” Unless you don’t mind a rude and ignorant customer service helper please do business at 5285 S. Cobb Drive Smyrna, GA.The young lady and I’m only being nice calling her that because she is not a lady, however she was the nastiest and rudest person I have encountered in awhile, whatever her issue is she should never deal with the public at all!!!I was so enraged by her behavior I didn’t even rent the truck, I’d rather drive 100 miles to another UHaul rental that knows how to be professional and receive get good customer service than deal with that witch. I hope she’s the owner at that site if not she does not need to be working there and running all the business out of the door !!!!!

Best U-haul location! The staff here are very professional and always respectful of your time. The trucks and trailers are clean and well maintained. I travel out of my way to come to this location because I know what type of experience to expect. Ive been to other locations and its not worth the hassle.

Rented truck or trailer from location many, many times with no issue. Unfortunately they no longer allow you to leave your vehicle at their location while you rent a truck. Makes it hard to do one man jobs - deal breaker

Any 5 star ratings are highly questionable.They will over charge you. I rented a truck and returned it the same day within 3 hrs but was charged for a 2nd day. I called location but got no answer. The agent will look at the ringing phone and not answer it. I saw it happen while I was there.Called 800 # they are no help and will tell you they cant help. Just pass the message along to the manager.Left messages for the manager to call but never heard from anyone.

Rental process started out smoothly. Wonderful customer service and we were in and out. After returning rental I noticed a $25 dollar cleaningFee. Called to get more info and was greeted by the rudest personI ever met. I informed her I thought it was funny agent highlighted and circled all possible fees yet neglected to circle or even mentioned cleaning fee. I also asked when we returned the car an hour early why were we not given the option of cleaning the vehicle. I was told they don’t need to inform us of additional charges. I was also told cleaning fee was mentioned in contract Only she was unable to tell me where. We proceeded to go back and forth and finally I decided to dispute with management.

Excellent service, attention to detail and very friendly. I hate moving, but if I needed a truck again, I would definitely get it there.

Very unprofessional. Loud, rude, more concerned about bantering with the bros than getting customers checked in quickly and helping others waiting.

Fraudulent dealership. Overcharged me 35 miles for a rental. They didnt have proof to show how they calculated the mileage and put the burden of proof on me. Read the other 1 star reviews, similar cases of fleecing customers in many different ways. No idea why Uhaul is letting this happen regularly.

Staff were generally helpful but the manager was absolutely terrible, untrained and uncivilized. When the workers trying to offer me help to load my car onto the trailer, the manager would come over and deny everything. Funny that the employees were actually quoting the correct instructions on uhaul’s own website. The manager clearly did not have a clue of what he was doing and only knew how to cover his own butt. 600 dollar reservation bought me his endless trash talk and threat to cancel my reservation. Fire that manager and promote any of the employee there. This place would be much better off.

Terrence had the best customer service and attitude. I had a trailer that was damaged, that I picked up from another location. U-haul had me drop off here with him. His customer service made me forget about the experience before my 6.5 hour drive home. Thanks Terrence for the great job you do! I hope they make you Assistant Manager or Manager soon!

Terrible service, every time we try to rent a truck or fill propane, they can’t do it and it’s not their problem. Need propane? Oh the guy on the last shift lost the key or we’re out, even though you called in advance to make sure. Rent a truck online? Oh that doesn’t guarantee we have any available. Try to call and see what the excuse is this time before you waste your time? Oh that wasn’t me you talked to, it was a call center.The new “GM” is a weak link for this place.

Booked a 20’ truck on the app and picked the location nearest me and was given a confirmation text and email. I called and confirmed my reservation and confirmed pick up time day of. I get there and they have no trucks in that size or even close to that size. The two women working were rude and clearly hated their jobs. The largest truck I could get is a small 10’ truck. Neither of them apologized or tried to help and instead they blamed me for booking online and made it seem like it was my fault. Their only suggestion was going to another location. I will not be using uhaul in the future.

My office rents trucks from this location about once per week. The guys always do a great job of ensuring you have everything you need. They are always fast and friendly. I recommend using this location whenever possible.

Have rented here several times. Buy my moving supplies from them as well and have never had any negative experience in the 12 years that i have used them. It has always been a very pleasent experience. Great customer service.

WARNING PLEASE STAY AWAY!!!!! Didn’t want to give a star but it made me...... They over charge you the gas hand doesn’t work so you can’t tell how much gas you putting in until it’s to late and then you have full the truck up. The services is terrible please go somewhere else!!!!

Dionte is the worst customer service agent you could ever come in contact with.He was on a private call while attending to customers.He misrepresented the leasing contract, due to his lack of attention to details.He is inept, rude and offensive.This place deserves a zero rating, if available.Avoid this business.

I rented a 5x8 trailer for a one way trip to FL. After I realized they had a 4x8, I asked for that one. The guy told me it was only available for in town rental. But when I got home and tried to reserve online - it was no issue to rent the 4x8 for trip to FL. The guy lied to me to save himself 10 minutes of time. He also told me there was only a $10 difference when it was actually a $20 difference.

Service In and Out was pretty quick however just a WARNING ... PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE take a picture of the gas tank when you receive the car as well as pictures. Theyll leave equipment in the truck on purpose and then charge you for it when you return the truck. Theyll also tell you the tank is at half when in FACT it was not and try to make you add more gas or charge you a fee.

Very helpful staff who know what they are doing and describe to you what you should be doing. Just at he corner of I285 so convenient for someone who tow or drive a truck the first time.

Wonderful customer service! I have rented from this location multiple times; they are always fast, courteous, knowledgeable and over all friendly. I would recommend them to anyone who wants a pleasant U-haul experience.

This is hands down one of the best U-Haul dealerships in the Atlanta area. I was in and out within 5 minutes and the customer service was great! If you are in need of a U-Haul do not hesitate to call the crew at this location. You will not be disappointed!
