This was a stressful and frustrating situation but Harrison was so helpful, kind, and professional he made this situation a lot better. Theyre business model is entirely based on extortion. They get you in, then they double your rent once a year.They claim its supply and demand, but if true my rent should be going down by local market trending data.They say you can move but pretend like that wont cost us dearly after placing so much trust in them.This is extortion by definition.

The facility is clean people are nice, very safe. That’s the good the bad is your rent constantly goes up. even if you move in at a special rate about a month later they jack your rent up significantly. then you will continually get rent increases. other bad things. The elevator, you have very little time to get your things in the elevator before the the door alarm goes off. This is also the issue with the exterior doors, They close very fast and you have to keep putting your code in unless you try to prop it open and then the door continually hits you stuff. The people that work there do their best with what they have. It’s not the people’s fault that work there that the door will close on you or the elevator will close are you.

Ive used an Extra Space Storage facility in Chattanooga TN last year and had a wonderful experience with customer service, facility use, and price. The carts and other moving aids are centrally located and available. Harrison walks the facility and provides oversight over all the renters ensuring that they stay compliant with the Terms and Conditions of this location.This Extra Space Storage location is highly recommended not just for the services but the intangibles in which Harrison manages. I highly recommend this location.

I was looking for a storage unit that was affordably priced, yet valued security and customer service. I didn’t want non-storage unit holders to have easy access to the storage units from the street. Extra Space Storage stood out to me! This place just opened this year. I want to say this summer? It is super clean. There are loads of cameras (and you can see many of them in the main lobby). It is on a main road near a RaceTrac gas station, but was built in a way that makes you feel a bit secluded.This location has a lady named Laurie. She made me feel super welcomed and helped me figure out which size would be best for me. When the day of my move came, Laurie left a personalized post-it note in my unit congratulating the move and welcoming me into the space. She even baked cookies! The friends that helped me moved raved about how kind she is.There is an access gate for customers that only unlocks with a code. It opens vertically. It’s wide enough for a moving truck to comfortably drive into the parking space. After getting through the gate, there is another layer of security with the passcode to get into the part with the storage units! Carts are provided to push your stuff into the space. I think there are about eight or so at the door.I liked this storage space because I didn’t have to worry about my stuff. I knew everything would be safe. I think the office closes around 6 or so and the access gate/door remains open until 10. I don’t think I ever had to go into the unit after the space closed, but it was nice to know I could have.I’ll really miss Laurie and this space! They’ve set the bar for my storage unit experience and I’m unsure anyone will beat it. I’ll definitely be looking for Extra Space Storage whenever I move.

Sheneka is amazing!! She called me first thing in the morning when my reservation came through and walked me though the entire process on the phone. As soon as we were off the phone I went online to sign everything.
