Awesome experience. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. My appointment was at 9 and I was completely finished at 9:45. That included eye exam, selecting new glasses and checking out.

I’ve got somewhere around 30 years of great service from here so far. I absolutely love all the staff from Dr.Jacobs, Dr. Sparkman, to Mrs Georgia. Dr. Jacobs has now started to care for my children’s vision needs and that’s a wonderful feeling to have someone you trust so much. I highly recommend associates in eye care to anyone looking for a vision care “home”.

I am visiting my mother here in Somerset when my glasses broke. The wonderful people at Associates in Eye Care fixed them the same day, were very kind, and didnt charge me!

Been going here for over 20 years and they always have done me good.

My insurance covers one eye exam yearly and certain frames, but lenses are covered. I went in 2020 to have my eyes checked. I needed glasses but for some reason AEC said my insurance wouldnt pay AFTER I had the examination. My insurance WOULD HAVE paid but AEC refused to include the prescription and frames so Im still wearing the same glasses for the past FOUR years. I attempted to make an appointment this month ( May 2021) I my to be informed my insurance wont allow me to be seen until June. My eye sight has had dramatic changes in FOUR years due to medication and medical issues. Staff was courteous but from my issue(s) not as educated in billing as they should be. Cause I still cant see!

I’ve been coming here for years and I am always made to feel like family!Dr Sparkman gives the best care to his patients!He went the extra mile to confirm a serious eye problem that I had, when another optometrist wanted to wait a few more years to do further testing.Dr Sparkman started me on drops right away and the disease is now well managed.Laura is great and knows about eyeglasses!She always treats me friendly when I come in for an adjustment or if I have a question about my eyewear.

Got my annual eye exam last March 2020 right before COVID hit. I was out of contacts and am legally blind; but he wanted to refer me for lab work before he would order contacts. COVID hit and I had no contacts and finally got in to order online with contact only prescription. I had one trial to last me for months. When they reopened; I was eager to get my new eyeglasses and bought a year worth of contacts for a discount?! Well $850 dollars later...Yes! $850 I got my glasses but they misplaced my contacts and didn’t notify me until January 2021. 10-months late??!? I had already gave up and ordered from 1-800-Contacts. Poor Customer Service, Zero Communication!! $850 for average pair of glasses and contacts 10-months later that probably have a soon to be old script makes for one unhappy customer. Steer clear

Most caring eye care in Somerset

Bought glasses during the summer glasses broke after one month they replaced them at no cost. The same brand just broke while wearing them on my face and they want me to pay to replace them. That speaks volumes to the quality of frames they have available, and pride they have in product they sell. Would not go back here, please sell quality products that you can back yourself, but dont put in on to your customer to pay cost that should be on your lack of selling quality product to the public. What a complete waist of my every 2 year insurance plan! They did not even care to lose a customer.
