All the staff at Visionworks including doctors are very nice and knowledgeable. This helps more patients than what you think.My son likes going there as well.And is always above and beyond pleased!!Just wished my health insurance would of covered my eye glass script. This would of helped ny family and out do much!!Looking forward to the next visit

Dr. Crockett is very polite. He listened thoroughly to my questions and answered them in complete detail for me. He was very kind and patient. Did not feel rushed or hurried away. Definitely recommend them!

Dr Jason Crockett is a nice, pleasant and always has been accomodating to my husband and myself. Jenna was the customer service tech who helped me find a nice frame and checked us out. She was very nice, courteous and pleasant. However, one of the other female clerks in the eye exam dept was very rude and had a bad attitude right off the bat. Even my husband stated she was rude for no reason at all. Her demeanor has alot to be said. You dont treat clients/customers that way and when you are a returning client you should know the history of that client. Especially when you have a medical corneal dystrophy and see a specialist in town and use them for your prescription glasses for the past 4 years. Dr Jason Crockett I would highly recommend. For the most part the front customer service techs are kind and helpful. But the eye exam dept needs to be more like the front techs.

Staff was very rude, Dolly was one of the ladies that was so rude and I was charged for something that I didnt even have read and the dr admitted she put it on there while looking at another patients chart but no apology was given for their mistake.

The glasses sold here are a bit on the cheaply made side and come with no warranty.(unless purchased separately for $30-$60) the people were really nice though. Them being nice isnt help my broken glasses though, so lll go elsewhere next time.

The GM really went the extra mile tonight to help me out. All of the staff are great but the GM is always there making things run smoothly and is very customer oriented.

My son had a appointment yesterday. He had to get a eye exam and new glasses. We were in and out quickly. Also his lenses were in stock so we got them the same day as his appointment. I like the dr a lot as well!!

The Doctors are great and professional but one of the employee at the front desk is just plane unprofessional/ rude. This VisionWorks branch is a busy place, which is good but that’s not a reason for their employees to loose their professionalism when they get frustrated. This girl she was just plain rude the whole time I was talking to her. I was calm and polite but she was talking down to me. Lady, if you read this, you know you can do better. You’re not the only one who has problems or whatever issues you’re having today. The front desk is the face of the “business.” Realized that—> regardless of how frustrated or tired you re at your job. You’re there to help your patients. Communicate clearer if they don’t understand. Be patient and don’t talk down to patients. It says a lot about you. Quit doing this to your patients lady. Like I said, you can do better.

Dr and exam was very thorough, so I left from my exam stand point very please.The floor staff and attention was much to be desired. In particular a male employee/possible manager was a little gruff. I made a phone call on my own behalf, then when I let the office know, I feel I was chastised. NOT impressive with the customer service at this Visionworks in Somerset,KY

Im not known for having a great deal of patience during appointments such as this one, but from start to finish my visit to Somerset Visionworks was very pleasant. Highly recommended, especially considering the occasional $1 exam promotion.

The ladies at the eye exam desk were very nice. The doctor was quick but was thorough and had a great personality. Quick in and out routine eye exam. Have to go back soon for my contact fitting and trial.

So helpful and friendly! I was in the office for about 40 minutes. Most of that time was from picking out my frames. I would highly recommend!

Loved everything about visionworks I called the Tues and had an appointment on Thursday they provided a good updated clean eye exam. Explained everything well. I have low vision and Dolly took extra time to help me find the right frames and guided me to buy the correct lenses. Made an appointment, 1 hour later still waiting, other people coming in later and being called back, myself and another customer asked why we werent being seen were told Dr. Sees medical first then those only wanting vision tests last. Why were we given appt .time? I left as my time and money are just as important as any other. Not a very pleasant experience, not much of a selection in frames either. I saw one lady having to rummage through drawers trying to find frames for her mother as employee sat watching.???

Scheduling online was extremely easy. When my husband and I arrived, the staff was welcoming and helpful. The doctor was thorough and kind, and after our evaluations, the staff helped me pick out new glasses, never seeming frustrated that I was being extremely indecisive. Overall, a truly positive experience!

Eye exams were handled on time and wait times were limited. The only complaint is about the staff working the front part (eyeglass sales) of the business. Instead of having some type of process to handle people that walk in and queue them up efficiently, they operate haphazardly causing everyone to spend more time in the store than needed when purchasing/picking up glasses.

The appointment was quick and easy, the doctor spent time answering my questions and making sure I was comfortable. The staff was knowledgeable about what frames are covered by my insurance. The turn around time to receive my glasses was faster than expected. My appointment was on a Saturday which worked with my schedule. I received a text and email indicating that my glasses were ready by Thursday.

I was very happy they are open on Saturdays and I was able to make an appointment online at 10:00pm the night before! They were all extremely nice and professional! Will be going back!

This has been the worst experience I have ever had getting glasses. I spent $390 out of pocket for my glasses for them to be wrong twice. I have waited on them for a month and a half and still havent received a correct pair of glasses. When I bring it to their attention the only response I get is that they are not at fault, its the lab that keeps messing it up even tho they have admitted to typing the prescription incorrectly into the computer. I would not recommend anybody go to this location. I have never had an issue at the lexington locations but the Somerset locations service has been terrible.

Called to make an appointment and the lady said she would check the availability and let me know. I was on hold for 14 minutes. I decided to just go online and schedule the appointment. It was way faster and easier. Will update after the appoinment.

I got a thorough exam and the Dr explained in detail what was happening with my eyes. That was great! But I had called ahead to see if a appt was needed and the lady told me no but if I made an appt it would be better because they would have to work me in and that could take a while. I made my appt for 10:30. Over 2 hours later I finally was finished! Over 60% of the time I was there was waiting!!

Had a GREAT experience today !!! Staff at Somerset location very helpful and quick service. In and out of store with both my kids in less than an hour. No appointment needed. Walked right in and walked right out in less than 1 hour. Whould recommend to all !!!!

This place is a total rip off!!!! They give you the wrong contacts and tell you that because you signed for them and gave them the wrong ones back to get the core ones and you never get them. So you pay for probably one of them to get a free box of contacts or they gave them to someone else. I paid a lot for a year supply of contacts and now when I run out of one side I will have a box just sitting there not being used because since April 2018 they have been saying “ oh there on back order when they come in we will call” that’s a LIE! Because now they got my money and I don’t have the contacts I need to see. I will never go back there again. And anyone I recommended to go there I have told Dont go there! Very unprofessional.

The staff and Doctor were great. I had an appt 2 weeks ago, told me it would be a week for my glasses. Called 7 days later, said it will be two weeks. It has now been 15 days. STILL NO GLASSES. Walmart is faster than this. Not happy.UPDATE: I just called the number the owner asked me to call. They called the store in Somerset who said my glasses have been there since March 31. Today is April 10. Only after I called the number I was asked to call by the owner, did my glasses magically appear because they told me my glasses werent ready the first week I called AND the second week I called. What a farce. I WILL NOT DO BUSINESS AGAIN WITH VISIONWORKS AND I recommend not going to Visionworks in Somerset if you want to get your glasses in a timely manner.

The Dr was very thorough and I felt at ease. They were very crowded, but still took the time with every patient.

Good place to go. For a working person they stay open till 7pm. I had a great experience. Dr talked with so it didnt just feel like it was his job. The ladys that work where glasses was were really helpfull.

Eye exam went great. Ordering my glasses went terrible. Very confusing. She kept contradicting herself on everything. When I picked up my glasses they were extremely warped. She blamed it on my prescription. My prescription is almost normal vision. No thick lenses or anything. She tried to straighten them. Now they are very crooked on my face and one side sticks out farther from my face. I played close to $400 for these glasses. They should not come like this!!!! This is a disgrace!!!!
