Needed to find a new eye care practice pronto and was lucky to happen upon FFE. Convenient location to us, easy to contact, the appointment and intake process for new patients a breeze. They have modern optometry equipment, a far cry from our previous practice. Everyone is pleasant, professional and the care is excellent. THe doctor really discussed my concerns and listened, answered all my questions promptly and fully. We found our new eye care practice!

I had an amazing experience at Franklin Family Eyecare. The doctor was patient answering every question and didnt try to rush me out. She explained everything I wanted to know, and went over my eye exam in details. The front desk person went ABOVE and BEYOND. He gave me exceptional deals on lenses and glasses. He didnt try to push me to buy expensive frames, he kept my need in his mind and suggested just the right things. Id go back there again, and I highly recommend this practice to everyone.

Beware after going for a recent eye exam and ordering glasses the lenses were not right so I went back and spent more than an hour measuring and remeasuring my PD and then they placed a order for replacement lenses.When I called and asked for a copy of my PD measurements they refused to give them to me, fist they lied and said that was something they didnt have only the lad has that, then when I reminded them that I spent an hour with them going over it and I knew they put it in the computer they just refused to provide them to me.

Would recommend 100% . Clean office, very pleasant & positive staff . Just Amazing. Dr. Ngong is just the BEST hands down.

You cannot enter without an appointment and a temperature check.Once inside you are directed on where to go and sit. Extremely disappointed with the service. Be careful, they are very deceptive when ordering contacts. They told my son and I were getting 1 years of contacts, when we picked it up, they said no, its only for 6 months (365 contacts for 1 eye) who does that and use that as an explanation? 2nd, they charge the insurance for service that was never done then had the nerve to tell me, its zero charge to me.

DO NOT GO HERE IF YOU USE ACUVUE 2. They are denying me my usual Acuvue 2 brand and multiple people at this office said Johnson and Johnson doesn’t make this brand of contacts anymore but I contacted the manufacturer and they do. Now they are telling me they cannot prescribe them because they don’t have the samples in office which is also not true because I was able to get them at other offices without a sample. I am unable to get these contacts even online because they wrote the brand they prescribed on the RX. If you usually use Acuvue 2 DO NOT visit this office.

Update 2/19/21 still no contact from the office and my glasses aren’t ready yet from my appt on 12/23/20. I wish they would just refund my money and stop the nonsense. I had an awful experience with this office, they are rude, unresponsive and have poor communication skills. Six weeks pasted after my visit and glasses order, the office never called me to provide an update after me leaving messages for a status update and refused me a refund on an over $700 order after them not delivering my glasses after more than 6 weeks! I wouldn’t recommend this place to worse enemy!

Called and made it clear from the beginning that I was trying to make an appointment as a new patient, Leslie was very polite and said of course and asked my insurance provider. I mentioned my insurance is Amerigroup thru Medicaid and it might have been that she forgot but coincidentally they were “no longer taking on new patients”. I hope it was just something that slipped her mind but it’d be very disappointing if the answer changed due to the type of insurance I have :/

Today February 12, 2021 I had my first visit at Franklin family eyecare upon arriving I was greeted by the most friendliest receptionist I have encounter in several years her personality was beyond belief once I was called inside I was met by another representative beautiful personality made me feel right at home once I was called to the back which took minutes, I met a beautiful young man very knowledgeable very friendly took his time to explain everything that he was going to do show me things that I wasn’t aware of what a great team! Shortly after that I met Dr. Jo wonderful personality and I can truly tell that she is a Godly woman she eased all my concerns once again took her time to explain everything to me I would definitely recommend my family members to go to Franklin family eyecare, wonderful beautiful team keep up the awesome work they also took the time to protect everyone’s healthy through this Covid crisis..

First time back today since my last annual visit (which was pre-pandemic). I still feel very comfortable coming here for my eye care needs. The staff have gone above and beyond with their COVID precautionary measures. Only those individuals with appointments are allowed in the waiting area, door is locked to enforce this rule. Anyone else needs to call first. Masks worn by everyone at all times and seats, equipment, etc are thoroughly wiped down after every patient. And of course, staff is awesome, excellent customer service as always. I was already a regular patient here, the peace of mind I had coming back today tells me Ill continue to come here for my vision needs.

I’ve been going there with my family for at least 5 years now and we have always a great experience there. From the initial walk in to pre test time, to seeing Dr. Josephine, drink in the music flowing gently from their speakers and have some good conversations along the way! They do their very best at getting you in and out in a timely manner!

Ive updated the review accordingly.First off I will say Ive been coming here for years and Ive loved the care I have received. The doctor is amazing. Unfortunately, after spending hundreds of dollars on glasses, they suggested I get a second pair as an emergency pair (which I thought was a good idea). I decided to get this emergency pair online. I asked for my prescription and they said absolutely no problem. When I went to pick it up, it didnt have my pupillary distance. The secretary first seemed confused saying that my optician would have it. After explaining that I got my glasses from them, she finally said, oh I have it in front of me on the computer but cant give it to you. She then continued to explain why she wouldnt give me a measurement of my own body part while condescendingly calling my dear. Finally, I asked if it was illegal to give it to me and she said yes its illegal. Its not. Im hoping there can be some remedy to this because I would hate to lose an amazing doctor because of this terrible experience. I can understand trying to keep business, but I had already dropped hundreds of dollars.

Not a fan. First appointment was fine I explained what i needed and the doctor was patient while i tried multiple contacts. They said to come back in. week for follow up which i did but they kept me waiting over half hour past my appointment time and we’re so disorganized about what to do for my follow up. staff is nice but not over friendly just civil. Not sure I’m coming back.

Negative *****Very Disappointed. This was not s good experience. I went for an exam and new glasses. During the first exam I mentioned to Doctor that I didnt feel right about exam results but she continued with the initial prescription. As soon as I received my glasses I felt something was wrong. Per the office managers request i attempted to wear them for a week but they gave me headaches an nausea. Went back back for a second exam, but they rushed me through it. My prescription and new glasses still do not feel correct.

My wife and I went for an eye exam and to get new prescription glasses. Setting up an appointment was a breeze and when we got there we did not have to wait long to be seen by the attending optometrist. We had no issues getting the glasses afterwards and the staff were very helpful and courteous. Delivery of the glasses came as was promised. Had a problem with my glasses after about 4 weeks of use and they took it back and replaced/repaired it with no questions asked. Have no other issues so far with the new glasses 6 weeks and counting.

These people are one of the nicest and most amazing people Ive ever had the pleasure of visiting. From the time you walk in the smiles and warmly greeting just makes you feel super welcome. While i was going through a routine checkup the lady that helped me actually had a conversation with me, like she cared about what we were talking about and this is the first time weve ever seen.She was very patient with me and helped me pick my glasses frames, even though I took like an hour trying to decide which one I wanted to wear.The doctor remembered my sister, so she asked me about my parents (My sister had told her about them) This is the perfect example of individuals not just doing their job, but loving it and that showing and transforming in the way they interact with people that come into the practice.All in all everyone in there was super nice and helpful

Poor service, the office staff put through insurance forms 5 months after an appointment, because of that I cant get contacts or glasses . On top of that they are not allowing me to get one earlier and have not followed up with insurance company to assert that the fault is theirs.Also-know your insurance! They will bill you for items your insurance should cover and tell you you are wrong when you question them. After bringing proof they refused to give money back and put as a credit on account(now  I cant change drs without losing more money).Terrible service, have gone here for a while but it has deteriorated and the treatment this last year is beyond atrocious. I am losing insurance due to my job and because of this office I wont have what I need that I should have had covered 5 months ago.If you go here #1 know your insurance benefits #2follow up with insurance claims to make sure you were billed on time (their job) #3 go elsewhere if you can!
