I have always received exceptional service that is prompt and professional. I never feel like Im being ripped off like at other places, either. Very reasonable rates and friendly service. Folks Ive been living in Vermont for over 2 years and with a pretty beat up car. Ive been to several mechanics in the area that either overcharged me, didnt do half the work I had asked for, or had some serious attitude problems. Ive been wary to find a mechanic for that reason but we have found our company! Dominic and his team are absolutely the best out there. He is thorough and genuinely cares if you will be safe in your car. He doesnt try to sell you more. He remembers literally everything you asked for, my car at this point had so many problems I was calling him every 4 days to add something new to the docket. He never gave me a hard time despite me absolutely being a high maintenance customer ( my car is old and beat up). He called with updates, he was always kind and happy to explain things I didnt understand about cars without condescending to me. Seriously I am blown away by his team and his service. They went above and beyond for me and my husbands car. I truly only wish I could do more then writing this review! Thank you Dominic and company, you folks are wonderful!

First time customer. Usually I view going to an auto mechanic on par with a root canal. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. Dustin showed me and described the work to be done as well as describing the overall health of my car. This is important since I tend to drive then until they are a pile of rust. This will be my go to place.

We love this shop, we take all our vans here for repairs/maintenance. They are always very transparent about what needs to be done, and the do good work.

Ive gone here for a couple of years and even though Ive moved a little farther away, Ill definitely keep going. Dependable, honest place with good-natured employees. Ive never been spoken down to or lied to about my car (unlike some other places around here), and Ive always been greeted by name when I drop my car off. Bonus: they sometimes have dogs there.

Being from out of state, I have been worried about trying to find a reliable and affordable auto repair shop. I have had such a pleasant experience with the New England Automotive team. This was the first time I felt comfortable with the people repairing my car & not feeling like I was being ripped off. They were able to repair my car on the same day and even gave me a loaner car (who runs like a beast). The maple candy was a true touch & I cant wait to be back for all my car service needs!

I had a very quick encounter with them, but they were awesome! Super friendly, and I showed up only 30mins before they closed, with my car making the most horrendous sound - I had driven over a pile of loose dirt and gravel earlier in the day. I was figuring it was probably a rock, but they were amazing, and were willing to at least diagnose it, so I knew whether it was safe to continue driving. As I suspected, it was a rock, but they were beyond helpful, and so kind for seeing me only minutes before closing! Great service!

I brought my car here after it failed inspection. They had loaner cars which helped me get to work and back. They did a great job on my Subaru. Price seemed fair. The facility is nice and clean. They were very easy to work with.I would go more, but their hours make it hard for someone who works the day shift. That being said they made arrangements for me to drop off my car first thing (a little before they opened). They were very helpful and accommodating.I would recommend this shop.

I’ve been here twice now for an oil change and to have my tires filled. The second time I called ahead because I hit a lot of traffic and was going to be about 20 minutes late. They stayed late and still took my appointment! They do a great job and are very nice.

I went here to get my car inspected and they seemed very nice, courteous, professional, and I have no complaints. They seem to have their business in good order. I would gladly go there again.

Good work and fair pricing for that work, as well as some of the nicest and most helpful people youll find anywhere. NEA is my go-to for whatever work we need done on our cars, or for any opinion on work/pricing for service/parts. Id highly recommend them for any work ranging from the smallest check up to major repairs and replacements.

Weve eaten here three times. Weve had sushi, and its all great, particularly the unagi. Ive had the Shanghai noodles, and one of their special bowls. Others in our party had mu shu pork, sesame chicken, bbq ribs, etc. Everyone liked their meal. Service is great. They are always busy, a good sign.

Everyone at this shop has gone above and beyond for us since we moved to Vermont a year ago. We wouldnt trust anyone else with our cars. The pricing is fair and the work is reliable. Look no further for a long term trustworthy mechanic.

Great place. The guys are all very nice and friendly and really seem to know what theyre doing. The prices are extremely reasonable and Ive never felt ripped off or pressured like I did when I was still taking my car to the dealer for work. Also they leave you a maple candy in the car when you pick it up!

Ive taken my car here twice (tire swap, inspection/oil change) and they are the best. They go out of their way to make sure youre getting what you need and Dom has always taken the time to explain exactly what needs to be fixed and how much its going to cost. 11/10 would go again.

New England Automotive has given me the best experience in automotive repairs. Not only are they the friendliest people around, they are honest and do everything in their power to repair your car without emptying your pockets. If there is a way to repair something more simply without having to buy new parts, they will present you with the most cost-effective solution. No matter what kind of customer you are, Karla and Dustin make sure you are aware of your options and they go out of their way to help you better understand your car issues. I would highly recommend New England Automotive whether you are having serious mechanical issues, or you just need a plain old oil change!

They are miles above any other auto shop in VT. They have struck a perfect balance between good customer service up front and directly communicating with the mechanic about whats going on with your car. Ive taken in two vehicles for a lot of work recently. Every time there was an issue they called me into the mechanic bay and he pointed out exactly what was going on. They are very honest and very fair with how they handle charging you. I will never go to anyone else.

Great experience, such nice people. Customer service goes a long way. Also really appreciate the cleanliness of the waiting room, felt very non-automotive and that is a good thing that is way outside the ordinary garage. I have trusted Jason with my car for a long time, and Karla was outstanding to work with.

These guys are awesome. Did my repairs for around 60% of what I had thought I would be charged, let me know what I might want to get done in the future (but could hold off on for now) and provided me with a ride from and to the shop. Super nice folks, too.

First time visit today, and visited because reviews were great. Super helpful, explained everything, reduced my bill because one thing on the quote was easier than they anticipated. Will visit again and again.

Fixed my truck in a timely manner. They stated everything they were going to charge me for before they did the work and didnt charge me anymore after completion. They also recommended me to another mechanic that knew more about my vehicle and that mechanic turned out to be solid.

Dustin and Karla are great at what they do. Very knowledgeable, reasonable pricing, and willing to do what it takes to take care of their clients. Totally trustworthy and just overall pleasant people.

Had my truck undercoated at New England Automotive and had a very positive customer service experience. I cannot yet speak to the longevity of the undercoating. But my interaction with them was very positive.

We needed a second opinion on a major car repair and asked New England Automotive if they could look things over. They responded quickly, very helpfully, and kindly. That boosted my sense that this is a business I can trust.

I cannot say enough good things about this garage! They are friendly, efficient, and highly capable. After trying to get my inspection done last minute at Jiffy Lube and going a total of six times to different JL locations and being treated so rudely... I decided to schedule an appointment with New England Auto. We usually use NEA, but I assumed theyd be booked weeks in advance and thats why I initially tried to go to JL. Anyway, we called and got an appointment later the same week! The appointment went well, the waiting room is cool and comfortable and the employees are so nice (the dog is very cute too.) Bottom line, 10/10 would recommend!!! Thank you New England Automotive!

Honestly, my best car service experience yet. Amazing customer service, and very honest Mechanics.

Excellent experience with New England Automotive. I had what I thought was a broken timing belt (and thus catastrophic engine damage) on my Forester. Dustin and crew got my car in quickly after showing up unannounced via tow truck, and went the extra mile to diagnose what turned out to be a failed idler bearing. Their diligence saved me thousands by thoroughly testing the engine that appeared destined for bent valves and damaged pistons. A new timing kit later, and my fozzys back on the road. These guys were straight-up, honest, and easy to work with. Highly recommended.

Purchased a jump on it deal for an inspection and they quoted me almost $500 in work that needed to get done (which was extremely expensive for the work requesting to get done.) Then when I called back to get credit for the inspection they said Id have to pay the full amount for the inspection since it was a jump on it deal. I will personally never go here again, nor will I recommend. Thankfully the jump on it was only $26 but Its still money I should have had to spend.

My sons car was towed by AAA to their garage for what seemed like a starter issue. A month prior, Spillane had installed a new starter. So when New England Automotive called me to confirm that it was really a starter problem, I called Spillane and they agreed to go and and get the car and redo their work. I called New England to tell them what was going on and needless to say that they charged me $39.00 for confirming that it was a starter problem. I now know where NEVER to take my car again and I would implore all my family and friends to stay away from New England Automotive.
