Great selection of glasses! Especially for folks like me who forget to bring theirs from home. My husband and I treated ourselves to new glasses and LOVE them - they are polarized and the associate helped to size/clean them before we left. Karen is a class act and one of the best customer service experiences my hubs and I have encountered. She was knowledgeable about the trends of sunglasses, informed about facts around protective eyewear, and really kind and helpful. She didnt rush us even though we came in 10mim prior to closing. Another couple came in 5 after close and she still let them look around with no issue. Would recommend you get your glasses in Tahoe from here!

Karen is SO knowledgeable about ALL the sunglasses, lenses and styles in the store! She isnt in it for the sale, shes sincerely wants everyone to have the best eye protection and style that works best for your life. By far, the best experience I have every had with purchasing sunglasses!!

They refuse returns saying lenses are scratched the day after purchases even though they are not.

Fantastic service.In the past at other stores the employees have left us to try on, decide, and only answer questions when needed. At this place, the employees introduced themselves, wanted to know our names and what we were looking for. My GF has a smaller head and sunglasses look massive on her. The employee tracked down multiple pairs to find the perfect set with zero pressure. He then worked with me to find a deeply discounted pair of sunnys and recommended the best lenses for my profession. A fantastic experience all around.

Never seen someone talk them self out of a sale like the salesman there. Older woman was a nightmare to deal with. Walked in with 350 and they lost the sale.

Always fun to come check out their new lineups and products.

Went in expecting to buy some sunglasses. They are not cheap so I was spending time looking at and trying on the sunglasses. Unfortunately the employee Tracy made me and the people who were also trying on glasses, rushed and uncomfortable. A purchase over $150 is not something that should be hurried. I also felt accosted after she made it clear that she thought I was stealing for just trying on glasses. Needless to say, the people I was with or I did not go through with the purchase. Will not be coming back after such disrespect and recommend not coming to this location, there are many other places that sell sunglasses.

Went in ready to get 4 pairs of sunglasses expecting the standard Sunglasses Hut service. Instead I was accosted and recieved quite possibly the worst customer service of my life from TRACY, if she is assisting you beware of being rushed and pressured, being told you don’t know how to handle sunglasses, as well feeling you’re intruding on her space by shopping in the store. Approached her with some constructive criticism and received nothing but hostility and belittling. She felt the need to boast her 25 years retail experience, and its truly sad her sorry excuse for customer service has been helping people for 25 years. If you’re in Tahoe looking for someplace to get sunglasses go anywhere but here if Tracy is helping you. That being said if it furthers your buying experience to buy from a rude, indignant, and demeaning sales person I’m sure Tracy would be glad to assist you.

Five stars because this is one of the only high-end sunglass stores I have been in where it doesnt feel like the employees only will cater to a certain income bracket. They are always polite and welcoming - great experience.

To whomever it may concern..... Tracey gave my friends and I the most atrocious customer service. I was not even going to purchase sunglasses, just looking with my friends who were GOING to buy $600 worth of sunglasses, until Tracey disrespected and denigrated them Based on age. I was so uncomfortable to the point I had to leave the store. Unfortunately, the actions of one sales rep have lost sunglasses Hut my service indefinitely. If this is the type of employee that Sunglasses Hut chooses to employ I strongly suggest you not go to this Tahoe location or any other place for that matter

Tried to get a sunglass deal with a few other people, the sales person Tracy made all of us feel uncomfortable and rushed and she made it very clear she thought we were stealing. Then made me feel bad after my friends decided to not go through with the purchase. She also made it clear she didn’t want us to try on sunglasses. It is unfortunate that we all felt pressured and rushed to go through with the purchase. I don’t know about the rest of the employees here but Tracy did not make buying sunglasses an enjoyable experience. Definitely will not be coming back here.

Got a pair of Maui Jims there. Manager was very helpful and was able to get everyone in the store delt with efficently. I was looking to go with a different design when I went in but her suggestion was much better.Of course prices will be up there but if you want the goods then sometimes you have to do it. Internet is never a guarantee that they are real. If what you want is not in stock you get free 2 day shipping to your doorstep.
