This store is terrible and I avoid it unless I absolutely need something (which they inevitably dont have in stock).Literally every time I go here i leave cranky after being jaw boned about giving them my phone number and being upsold some useless gadget at the register.This was all prologue to my recent experience though. I had them sharpen a tablesaw blade and they completely destroyed it. Whoever did the work ground too much material and misaligned the teeth so it literally cuts worse than when I sent it in. I found a local person to look at it and hes not sure if there is even enough material left to fix it. Also, this isnt like a cheap jobsite blade, this was a Forrest ww2 and is designed to be sharpened 3 or 4 times.Avoid this place of you can.

I had bought a Triton Planer 3-1/2 years ago which developed a problem.I also bought a 2 year extended warranty thru Rockler. I had not realized that I had to register the product to activate Tritons 3 year warranty. Otherwise its just 1 year, 3 years with the extended warranty. Not the 5 years I thought. My dealer in South Portland, ME stood behind the product and gave me a new unit. Now that is customer service at its best. Rockler has a customer for life. Its a great little planer, just make sure you register Triton products to activate the 3 year warranty.

The best place to go in Maine for woodworking supplies and advice! The staff here are all very knowledgeable and pleasant. Theres a great selection of power tools, lumber, accessories, you name it. Anything they dont have in stock can be ordered for you in no time.In one of my visits I had the pleasure of speaking with the national sales manager for Rockler, a nice gentlemen based out of the Midwest who goes around the country checking on Rockler stores and making sure the service is top-notch. He was a pleasure to talk to, and even took the time to answer some questions I had regarding wood finishes. I never would have expected such service from a high-level corporate guy, but I guess Rockler does go the extra mile from the top of the company on down!My only complaint is the damage my bank account has sustained since discovering this place :-)

Rocker is the best place in to get turning supplies without having to do mail order. Great selection of lumber and finishes. The staff is always helpful

Horrible service since New manager and New personnel. Store reduced in available items and clerks Do Not want to help! Walk in and ask question and they look the other way and walk away. I use to spend 1-2k per year in this store, will not bother to look for service here again.

The best place for wood working needs in southern Maine

At least they answered the phone. Called to see if they had parts I might be able to use and the staff was just condescending and rude. Not at all helpful. I understand in store customer preference but sometimes it’s not worth the gas if the part isn’t there.

Fanatics staff and customer service. Of course, they literally have every woodworking tool you would need as well. I recommend them to as many people as possible.
