This is an old-school hardware store, with lots of stock and plenty of friendly, knowledgeable, helpful people. The The prices on most things seem very fair and somethings are even unbelievably low priced. They have two areas for the items on sale, one mostly for tools and paints and the like. And the other one for children’s books, and gift shop type items. It appears to me that they are especially adept at cutting keys. If you’ve ever been through a big box store to get a key cut you’ll know what I’m talking about, these people are terrific, good price on that too. I’m going here first from now on. I advise you to do the same.
Best hardware store bought 2 Weber grills 2 A/C units very satisfied Tom and his crew awesome
Several reviews criticizing the service do not reflect my experience over the past four years. True, the check-out people dont always have the answers, or the time to find out the answers--same as Home Depot and most stores these days. But every time Ive had to hunt for something, there were two very experienced employees working the floor who knew where everything was and were extremely helpful.
Always find something Im not looking for!! There are so many great and different things- and its just fun to see whats new...Not slick or neat, but always come away with a good find.
I wish I could say nice things about this store because its so conveniently close to home. Unfortunately 9 times out of 10 they dont have what I need. On my last visit the clerk at the register couldnt be bothered to look up from her cell phone when I walked in. When I walked past her on my way out she barely looked up and said Have a nice day, showing no concern whatsoever that I was empty-handed and obviously hadnt found what Id come in for.
This store is not following health protocol during health crisis.
Great local general store, more than just hardware. There is almost too much stuff!
I have been there 5 or 6 times and live close by so it was convenient and I wanted to support somewhere local. Each time someone has given me something incorrect or has provided little to no advice when I asked a question about my project. The most recent visit, today, I had to interrupt a personal conversation between two employees who acted annoyed I was asking where something was and then guided me to a product which would have been the wrong thing for the material I am working with. I would drive to Home Depot even for a small piece of hardware at this point.
Find all sorts of interesting things. Love the kids toys; adult socks are always a blast & Maggie (the dog) loves picking out a pigs ear at check out.
A+ customer service, I call around to find a store that sells beeswax. I make the drive over here after being told they do and I get there. Ask one person where I can find it. He looks for 30 seconds and cant find it. States it must have been moved and hands me to someone else who looks for 2 minutes and cant find and says it must have been moved sorry and walks away. Seriously? What type of operation are you running ?
Great little place to get things you need. And if you cant find what you need just ask one of the workers they seem to know where everything is and can help you
Very messy store and rude employees. Not sure why anyone would give more than one or two stars. If you want crafts and cards, then go here, but not if you need real help with a hardware problem. Good help is hard to find and customer service starts at the top. The top does not seem to care.
A little messy, the foreign guy helping me didnt seem to understand me but I got what I needed and was on my way.
Not alot of room for a baby stroller but thats cause they got everything
Great service, a friendly family business.
Nice employees but horribly high prices on electrical. 4 dollars for a fluorescent starter. Anywhere else its a buck.
Love this family business!
Staff so helpful!
Great selection and service
Store is awesome!!!
