Loved the service..didnt mind the wait..clean facility.. complimentary masks provided if you choose to wear one. The general manager Flo is awesome and he provides quality service. Cant wait for my phone to come in the mail.

Was very last in line towards the end of the work day, to the point when customers were only let out, but not in, and was accordingly the last customer to exit the premises. Was serviced by a seasoned rep who applied a lucrative trade-in promotional discount to a new phone I purchased, which has roughly cut my cost in half, by far more than the old phones actual value, as well as spreaded it into 24 easy payments. I had to prepay however the taxes and fees associated with the transaction. I was also let in behind the locked doors to use the bathroom while I waited my turn, which I found clean and pleasant to use. The facility is centrally and conveniently located on a main artery and includes ample parking.
Tyler was great, will go back for assistance instead of closer location. It is worth the extra time bc it was such a positive experience.
Waited 3 hours to even speak to someone even though I called and set up in store pick up. Walked out without a phone because their representative told me to wait for the new phone announcement. Wish I was told this the moment I walked into the door. Waste of time. I didn’t understand why it was at least 6 people working there and only one person that helped customers. It seemed like the other employees were just standing around.
Emily was super helpful and was able to help my mom with her phone even after she was done with her shift. I couldn’t say nice enough things about Emily and her willingness to go over and beyond to help us!
Worst Verizon Store ever!!!! Why on earth do you need to make an appointment just to return a phone case? This location needs to be shut down. I am not a customer of verizon but still, shouldnt take that long to return a phone case. I will never be buying any sort of verizon products again. If you need to return something i recommend going to the one on 8 and Haggerty.
I have been having issues with my home phone service for the last 5 years, the people that I speak with all have been very nice and understanding, and no matter what they do the the phone system still doesnt work properly, I have been trying to find out how to get in touch with corporate or an address and department to file a complaint... all I want is them to fix my land line phone so it will stay working...

Was met at the door by manager....who showed the products I might want to consider. He turned me over Justin who was most informative and honest. I have been a Verizon customer since you were Airtouch and Cellular One. I appreciate that he did not try to sell me something beyond my understanding and he took the time to print out my options along with insuring I got all my loyalty discounts. I had a little trouble getting my comcast email to show on phone but a repTalked me thru it but I still do not see the email icon on my screen as I used to. The only negatives I wanted to speak with the store because they had accidentally put someone elses paperwork in my bag ..but was told that there is no way to call them direct and can only get customer service and they cannot connect to them either. I also found myself with no way to charge the phone as the only thing I got was the cord In the phone box that has 2 identical ends that go into the phone and are too small for a USB port. Fortunately, I was able to use one of my older plugs. I will probably have to go back over this stuff on Tuesday but for now the phone is charging and email are arriving but I am not being notified.Margo Bloomberg

I recently placed an order online for pickup at the Southfield/Telegraph location. The employee that approached my car was mindful of our current social distancing world, and I appreciated that. But then his customer service skills became abrasive. He asked me twice if I had an account at Verizon. Both times, I told him no, and that I just needed to pickup my prepaid, online order. When he returned he insisted on seeing both my drivers license and the card that I used to pay for the order. If I had not paid for the order I would have left.

This is my favorite store to visit for all of my needs. They are always very helpful and honest. My last visit Justin J. Jones and Denise Burke helped me out tremendously buy making sure all my needs were met !! Go see them and trust that you will be taken care of.
If I go into the store and the phone is out of stock and they have to order it online, why is the upgrade fee still $40 when I can upgrade online myself for $20? How are you a salesperson that cant answer questions about the devices in your store just because its not the brand you use? Overpriced for no reason!
Upon arrival I had to wait outside until someone came out per employee. When 2 ppl came out I tried to enter again but once again was told I had to wait for another person to come out. Shortly after I heard an employee talking with a customer outside mentioning that you can’t touch the phones inside, you have to know what you want without trying them out and they don’t do transfers. I understand that this is all because of the COVID precautions but it is a little much imo. The guys were polite with their requests for me not to enter but they lost my business because they could literally do nothing for me. Later on I found another Verizon retail center in Livonia and had the complete opposite experience. They could actually do something for me and were very polite and cautious about it. Don’t go here go to the one in Livonia off of 7 mile and talk with Leo.

This is not the first time at this location. Past visits, great. This visit, rep did not listen and seemed not to have product knowledge, tried to sell me items I did not need (very badly). I left because to help any customer the rep has to listen to the customer. I went to another Verizon location. Rep listened, I purchased the device and the plan I needed. There is hope yet.
They refuse to help me fix my phone ive been there 2 times now and they keep telling me the same over and over again. terrible service.

I came into this Verizon store with an urgent concern regarding my device. It wasnt functioning properly, but I was greeted immediately upon entering the store and Mike, the store representative, inquired about my reason for coming in. After explaining my dilemma, he ensured that my concern would be resolved. The store was extremely busy this day, but Mike took the time out to address my concerns within the fast paced environment. He added my name to the digital line and communicated the approximate wait time that I would experience as he provided the same high level of customer service to those ahead of me. My concern was addressed efficiently and the problem was resolved in a short time span even though the store was busy. The genuine concern and attention Mike provided was much appreciated because Ive experienced that not all businesses believe in the importance of customer service. Well done.

Bought a new phone, needed help setting it up. They did not actually help me just told me to turn my phone on, took it home and it’s not working still. Seemed like either they didn’t know what they were doing or that I was inconveniencing them. Poor customer service

Expect a waiting period as soon as you enter the store for your turn to talk to a representative, its not bad since it gives you some time to explore the store on your own. Tiara, a solution specialist helped me and she was very good at what she did. I received a wonderful customer service.I wouldnt buy phone/tablet accessories from any wireless service stores since they are pretty costly or say I get better deals on Amazon/eBay.
The customer service rep I dealt with was just mean it was super weird. I’m fine with them being mean if I get help but just save yourself the extra trip and go to the next closest Verizon store. The lady with the braids seemed like I killed her dog or something. Super weird vibe. I’ve dealt with like three other Verizon stores and everyone has been super nice and straightforward.
Mr. Has was an excellent salesman and advisor. He worked hard to give me a deal on a replacement iPad, set it up and even helped me in improving the speed of my cellphone (S5). Mr. Has explained the billing increase and the return policy, should I need to return anything.
Quick and easy. SIM card failed. Replaced no hassle.

Worst customer service! Literally sitting here watching 2 employees yap it up and play with the Google speaker... Mind you, Ive been waiting to be helped for 30 minutes now, and there is ONLY 2 other customers in the store! Long story short... This store is almost empty with more employees than customers, but yet I still an waiting to be helped!I will update once helped.

Went in looking to buy a new expensive iphone. Sales lady looked like she couldn’t care less. The demo model was not even working and sales staff did nothing to try and fix it. Left for the Apple Store for a much better customer service experience.
Horrible customer service... their store representative Erika did not answer a simple question about a SIM card issue. I waited for over an hour and got no help until I went up to the counter to ask about the status of my question. She then went on to give me attitude when I finally went up to the counter to ask the question a second time. I Would not recommend this location to anyone and will never return to this location ever again.
A complete waste of valuable time. Waited 25 plus minutes for a new phone purchase only to pushed down the list for 5 plus people that bought. Accessories. While I’m sure they don’t get to control the flow of customers at the store level some consideration should made for customers. The purchase of a new phone should be weighted with the concept of not losing a long term reoccurring revenue. The simple profit for an aux cord cannot offset the cost to acquire a new customer.

I just bought a new phone last night and it occurred to me that Ive never taken the time to properly acknowledge what an absolute pleasure it is to deal with the employees at this store. Not only is this the best Verizon store Ive ever visited, this is one of the best retail stores Ive EVER frequented. The store was out of the iPhone 8 I could understand being out of the iPhone 10 but an 8 come on that is poor inventory management. And they wont prove match a case even. Waste of time I should have went to Best Buy 1st!

If you’re searching on google for phone service plan cards non-Verizon and it said this one carries it; it doesn’t. Calling to get someone in the store is just about impossible as well just get the automated run around that’s really designed for pre-existing Verizon customers. Although I eventually got a live person that notified me where I could get what I was looking for which most other stores just said no and hung up on me.
Nia was cool, funny person. The GM Flo is cool dude as well. Verizon however started charging an upgrade fee, wasnt happy about that.

Bumbling fools! They tried to move an AT&T phone to my verizon account and locked the phone which could only be unlocked at the apple store. The apple rep said verizon people all know AT&T phones can’t switch. So are they either unknowledgeable or unethical.

I was most excited to switch my services to Verizon in general, but my experience at the Verizon Wireless store in Southfield was the icing on the cake. On 6/30/2019, 15 mins before closing I arrived at the Southfield branch to add my grandmother on my new line and purchase a new phone for her as well. I was greeted beautify by Erica, regardless that they were closing in 10 mins, she was excited and ready to help!Erica was an absolute joy for me and my grandmother. She was extremely knowledgeable, super sweet and just all the things that a great representative should be for a great company. I can honestly say she went above and beyond to make sure everything was top notch and ready for us to just enjoy our new gadgets. While the phones were loading she still gave us her undivided attention, explaining the process and then just engaging with us.My grandmother walked out with a new phone and all 10,000 pictures loaded on to her new phone, apps in place, everything... And I left the store feeling like I just made a friend. That is truly CUSTOMER SERVICE at its finest. I work in medical sales, and were trained to be attentive to our customers and to make it personal. Find out what you have in common and use that as your topic/selling tool. Erica did just that and some... Only difference you can tell that is just who she is as a person.I interface with many personalities daily, Ericas is unique and a GREAT representation of the company she works for. I came to buy a new phone on the day of its release. Must not have given good commission because the sales person said about two words to me the entire time and never looked me in the eye when they did bother to speak to me. I felt like I was just an inconvenience. I felt kind of embarrassed like I didnt belong there or something.They handed me my bag with the phone and just walked away. Never offered to sell me a screen protector or a car charger, which I wanted to buy. Guess Amazon gets that money instead.
