Initially, I was a little worried about having to place my belongs in a storage unit, The staff at NSC SOUTHFIELD provided instant ease to my worries as soon as I walked in the door. They were prompt, so professional, polite, very helpful and knowledgeable. They were sure to explain everything beforehand. I didn’t have to ask lots of questions, but when I did ask questions, they had answers. It really feels good to know that there are still businesses that specialize in quality customer service. I got to my storage unit only to see that my lock was gone and it had a gold lock. I pay my bill every month so i didnt understand. I went to the office and I was fuming on the inside. But once Angel greeted me so kind and gave the BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE. I couldnt be angry. She apologized for the mix-up and gave me a new lock because someone had taken the NEW LOCK i had purchased.. Thank God for Angel. She was a a true Angel because I was ready to CUSS EVERYONE OUT. BUT her CUSTOMER SERVICE WAS EXCELLENT. I will continue to use this company because of her. She saved the day

I have been storing at this facility for about 4 years now I have always found the staff to be helpful and a pleasure to deal with. The manager Jack and the manager Pierre before him have always been great at assisting me with my storage needs. I would not hesitate to recommend this location for all your storage needs.

Kim was great. Friendly and provided an additional storage unit once we realized the unit that I rented was too small. I highly recommend this place. Also Jack Day was great he did my reservations and it was fast and easy.

Mrs. Angela is very professional, kind and knows her stuff. I was very frustrated when I first arrived at National Storage, with all the stress from organizing my move, I had so many things still left to do and Mrs. Angela knew exactly what to say to turn my mood around. She made me feel accomplished and lifted a lot of the weight off my chest, just with the knowledge she had to share. I couldve had a more calming experience at such a trying time, but getting the details finalized for my storage, truck rental, a great value and packing supplies at one location, was a dream come true. Although I was appreciative of the assistance I received from the staff, I was quite disappointed that an advertisement I saw stated the facility had an electric plug in the unit so I put down my deposit and then learned that is not the case. I was under the impression the district manager would refund my deposit, since I had never even moved anything into the unit because I realized it wasn’t going to accomplish what I needed the unit for. I explained this to Kari who then explained to the district manager but he decided to not refund my deposit. So I still adore the staff there but management is full of it and denied even meeting me half way on my refund, so no, I will never use this company again and I will tell my friends and business associates to not use this company as well. Great staff not so great management. 👎🏾👎🏾👎🏾

I absolutely love National Storage Centers in Southfield! Let’s start off with how I was greeted with a warm welcome from Jack. He was so nice and very informative. The storage unit is very affordable, convenient, and secure. I’m glad I chose this place to put my items in. Definitely would recommend to anyone!

I was frantic and unable to find a uhaul anywhere when I came here and was helped tremendously by Jack and Francis. They helped me get very important cargo in the midst of the pandemic. I felt secure in how clean and sterile the facilities and uhauls were and they gave me a great peace of mind. They will take incredible care of you!

This was my first (hopefully my last) storage unit that I have ever purchased. I personally did not have a good experience with the staff at this location and I strongly advise anyone who is looking to store here to choose a different company.If you are someone who is experiencing financial issues I do not recommend this place because they WILL NOT work with you. The storage units at Coolidge and Maple (next to Enterprise Car Rental) is a great place to store (Family previous Experience).Please do further research on other storage companies policies before you decide to store your items with this company.Choose wisely is what I have learned from my experience on dealing with this company.Take Care.

Horrible customer service, we dont feel comfortable leaving my items here knowing the chick at the desk will have access. shes very unprofessional, left the front door unlocked & unattended for long periods of time, turns the office phone off after a certain time, etc, rude girl that needss a career change asap!

The manager on duty this morning was fantastic! Explained how the units worked and helped us to pick one that fit our needs. I have been utilizing this location for over a year. No major complaints. Sometimes communication from one person to the next can be completely different however in the area I was experiencing this problem it has changed in the last few months so no more issues there. Reason for not rating 5 star is due to building set up- renting a larger unit and it is quite a ways away from the door which is a little Inconvenient for me hauling bigger items thru 3 doors (entrance and two hall doors) otherwise I have no complaints about this location.

They were so nice at the front counter. My main interraction was with Linnette. she walked me through everything I needed showed me the unit and explained the rules and regulations of what is permitted and what isnt. Very funny we laughed and made some jokes about different things she really made me feel welcomed. I didnt feel like another number and with this kinda service I ultimately didnt mind paying a little extra when she offered me a bigger unit. For the service and location totally worth it.

Convenient area. Horrible customer service and the company is very unorganized. Property manager is rude & unreliable. When I first rented the unit, the Property Manager entered my information incorrectly and insisted I still pay the late fees until my information was corrected.

The staff is very friendly and professional. Their storage facilities are top notch and very secure. like walking into a bank vault.

I rented a vehicle storage on 4/24 and the very next day I brought my vehicle to be stored in the spot I purchased. Upon arrival with my vehicle another vehicle was in my spot and it took at least 30 minutes for management to call next door for someone to move the vehicle. Management was very poor in understanding my complaint and that I am the paying customer. When I take my vehicle out for a cruise will I have my parking spot when I return to the storage.

I live downtown and come all the way to Southfield, passing many other closer storage facilities to use National. Ive been here for over 12 years because the facility is clean and they have a variety of size units for larger and smaller needs (Ive had 3 different sizes).
