Stopped by to have a piece of glass custom fit for a special project and met with Julan at the Southgate shop. Didnt realize I was as close to quitting time as I was. Julian assured me there would be no problem, would cut the glass while I waited and gave me a super price on the glass. He suggested a heavier pane for my project so I got some free advice with great service and a great price. I do custom woodwork and I ALWAYS go to Henderson Glass for my glass needs and will continue to do so. Thanks Julian...job well done!

Excellent customer service and quality work. They custom cut glass to fit my kitchen cabinet door, with an arched top. This is a very difficult cut, but it came out perfect! Today I needed a small piece of mirror cut to fit another frame and they surprised me and cut it for free! Thank you so much.

Called the Southgate store on a Wednesday morning, requesting a piece of glass by Friday morning of the same week. Was told that theyd let me know when it would be ready to pick up.I checked in with them on Thursday afternoon, and was informed that it wasnt ready yet, and that there was no way they could possibly cut a piece of glass and have it ready before late Friday afternoon. Since I needed to take the glass up north during the day on Friday, this didnt do me any good.I called another glass company to see if they could help, and they had it ready to pick up in less than two hours.Oh, by the way. Henderson quoted me $62 for my 44 X 38 glass. I paid $33 at the place that actually bothers to do business with the little guy.

On time no hassle cant ask for more!

Henderson glass, specifically the Southgate location, helped one of my co-workers out of a bind this past Saturday. Major props to Julian and John! I will continue to use them for my fleet services. I have never regretting switching from Safelite.

Driving on the freeway and a rock put a giant chip/split in my windshield, leaving it needing to be replaced. John Obarr installed my new windshield and he did an excellent job. Julian was my customer service rep and he also made this a very easy process. It was done in a very timely matter. Id refer to them for my friends/family.

Replaced a windshield for us and all seemed fine. It almost immediately was cracked — two days later — and we went back to see if they would replace it or if that windshield possibly had a defect. Nope. Full price for a replacement. No help or assistance. Went somewhere else. Even if it wasn’t their fault, the customer service regarding the experience wasn’t good. Will never go there or recommend them to anyone. Sometimes good customer service pays dividends. Not for Henderson glass in Southgate.

They had the rear window glass ready the very next morning & I called right before they closed. They installed the window while I waited in about an hour, and the price was VERY reasonable. It cost about ⅓ of what I expected. I would definitely go here again.

They have handled my glass repairs a number of times, they do quality work.

Great place I dropped my car off the night before my appointment and it was done before my appointment time replaced a side window and the back window my appointment was for 10:15 a.m. it was done at 9:30am

Love these guys. I had my windshield replaced here about 2 years then water started leaking into my car which I thought was coming from my windshield. No questions asked even though it had been so long they had me bring in my car to test it out. Turns out it was my sunroof leaking not the windshield they helped me fix it so I would not have to take it to an overpriced dealership and gave me tips on maintenance and prevention. Thank you John O Barr and Julian and to an honest hard working business who cares as much about my vehicle and my budget as I do.

Julian T was very helpful explaining shower door features and options to me even through I was already working with a different contractor. Ran copies of manufacturer specs and helped me figure out which door system was best for my needs.

I had even left a thank you note on my dash since they had been so wonderful, and they took the time to write back! :) Upon payment, I only received smiles and no sales pitches to buy or spend more. Not only was I referred here, I will also now refer this place.

As a residential builder, I pride myself on prompt service and reliability when it comes to customer service. I waited nearly half a DAY from a 2-week scheduled repair to be blown off as they were too busy in Detroit. I might, MIGHT was told, be able to get them to come back out by the following Saturday!!! Nevermind that no one called me about this delay since I waited from 8am-1pm and had to call the call-center at 1:40pm, not getting a call from Southgate until 2:30pm! Never, and I mean NEVER, will I ever recommend this company again for any project I do....hire them and look to waste your time waiting

So I am a guy who flips houses for living when I called to have some one come out and give me estimate on one of my houses the gentlemen would not give me his name not answered any questions professionally was very sarcastic and wanted I to do his job and pay him I mean they wanted me to take window out leave my house without a window for ridiculous 2 weeks when the widows readily available in wixom and delivered the same days usually. Waste of time calling them.

Im from Atlanta and I bought a van in Detroit and started driving home and realized the weather stripping was lose on my front windshield. I called Henderson Glass and within 24 hours they were on site to my job location to repair my damaged windshield for me. I called multiple places to get quotes and Henderson Glass best everyone by far. Jesse our technician was very prompt, thorough and had a fantastic personality. In the future for all my glass needs I will only call Henderson Glass.

Julian really worked with me and my budget to get me a replacement windshield after it was hit by something off of a commercial truck. And that company would not cover the cost. I did not want to use my insurance because I didnt want my rates to increase. And Im a recent single mom with limited funds. They got me in the next day and repaired within a couple of hours replaced my windshield! So happy with the customer service and work that was done on my vehicle. Will definitly be back!

Highly recommend!! Team member, Julian, was top notch, highly professional. I had my windshield replaced and also a question regarding a motorhome windshield. He took the time with trying to assist me. Henderson Glass is very lucky to have an employee who is as professional as Julian is.

Hours of availability are limiting, but service was great with pleasant staff and relatively quick turnaround.

This glass company is WONDERFUL!! I needed two new mirror doors for my bathroom cabinet. I brought the old doors in and Julian T measured them and placed the order. I also wanted a trim put on the bottom of the mirrors. The next day I changed my mind and canceled the trim. When I picked up the mirrors and took them home I changed my mind again...I wanted the trim. I went back to Henderson and Julian happily cut me the two pieces of trim I needed. Then he explained exactly how to attach the trim to my doors since I told him I was going to do it myself. Through all this JulianT and Tina P were very understanding and patient. This was a great place to do business!!

Had a gravel train truck from Thomas trucking, put a rock in my windshield. Tried to talking to them, but they just ingored me and would never call me back. So i went to henderson glass. Got a custom glass table top made as a protectant for the table itself. I had it cut down to the millimeter and it fits perfect! Wish I could share a photo

Their quality is like McDonalds, its good for what it is but if you dont check it youll be disappointed. Had to come back 10 mins later to find out they didnt vacuum out the broken glass in my car door. Shouldnt have to come back for something stupid with the money Im paying for l.

Took my car in for a few Windshield Chip repairs. I was stunned at the professionalism of the staff, speed of service, as well as the price. I highly recommend this location for any service.

Infuriating company to deal with. Whenever i call i get bounced to a corporate number the person at corporate tells me that no one at the store is available to speak with me at this time. I was trying to place an order with them and no follow up was done with me regarding my quote and if i wanted to proceed and this was after calling several times to try and speak with someone. I would suggest a big improvement regarding their customer service.

Please read!! I promised to leave a 5 star review but the service was very meh. the woman I dealt with didnt look or act like she could even spell the word smile. she was upset that I was asking her about pricing. the only reason I did so was because pricing was not posted anywhere. the guy I dealt with was better but he clearly was juggling to much front and back of the house duties. I had a regular sized picture glass window with a crack. lowes and home depot dont sell replacements so these guys are taking advantage of this. I was over 200$ just for the glass. honestly not that bad. the service call fee was ridiculous for a window I could pop out myself. I ran home to bring my picture glass window back to their shop and was told of a fee just under 50$ to actually install the glass in the frame, so I went home to get. to this point they had done no actual work and I went from work to their shop then back to my home to take out my window and bring it back to their shop and im looking at about 250$. after some mathematical adjustments due to my reasoning with them. Ive got my window a week later after a rush was put on it with globs silicon and the glass sitting unevenly in the top of the frame. 250$ my ass.

Fixed my windshield in a little over an hour, good prices too.

They were able to figure issue with door glass that others could not and had my window fixed the next day...very happy with their service
