I had an appointment window from 8am-12pm for a windshield stonechip repair. The tech called me at 7:45 am and told me that I would be his 3rd appointment. At 12:05 pm, the tech never arrived nor did he contact me. When I called him, he said that there was a scheduling problem and that he would be at least another 30 minutes. I called the office and expressed my concern. I was told by the receptionist that they overbook morning appointments. I advised her that a customers time is very important and that overbooking jobs is very unprofessional. I cancelled my appointment and will take my business elsewhere.

They broke the wire on my car and are claiming it was split when I brought it in. How could my window go up and down when I brought it in and now it doesnt after your professionals had it. Ive tried calling twice about it and have been hung up on both times while being transferred to someone else.

I had some chips in my window repaired. I showed up early and the employees were enjoying their morning coffee. I was able to hand over my keys and they told me where I can wait. The waiting room was a little warm but not terribly. They didnt start my repair until 15 minutes after my appointment time. I was also told on the phone that it would be only a 20 minute wait but when I got there I was told it would be over an hour and a half. While waiting I used me phone to browse the web, they have wifi but its incredibly slow. When I needed to use the restroom I noticed that there was only a Womens Only restroom. I ended up leaving 2 hours after my appointment time. The staff was friendly but I hadnt planned on it taking that long. While I was there another customer had came in and they were also surprised about the wait time. Im not sure if they tell you less just to get you in the door and then you are stuck there or if the person scheduling the appointments has no idea how long it will truly take and just gives out random information. Overall I was very pleased with the chip repair bit the tiny crack they repaired is still incredibly visible. As long as they dont get worse Im happy though. I would give them a higher rating but the incorrect time really screwed up the rest of day for me.

I scheduled my appt over a week & a half ago. I received both text and email confirmation the day of my appt that the service worker would be available 8am-12pm. I get a call from the receptionist stating they’re short staffed and have to reschedule me when I literally live 1.5 miles away (on-site was not an option). I explained to her I cannot reschedule due to my work schedule. She didn’t seem to care. It was the inconvenience that made me rate so poorly.

I had made an appointment on the website, Then got a confirmation call to confirm, knowing it was a truck they never said anything about having a tool Box on the back so I paid a buddy to take me to work and had my wife take it up there and my dad follow to give her a ride home. But they couldnt do it because the tool Box .. they never asked if any obstructions were in the bed of the truck. So on my way home for an hour I had called 48 times Until I walked in and heard the phone ringing But the kids were in the back talking and laughing and didnt hear the phone...this is by far the worst experience with Communications and customer service of ever had...

You cant really go wrong with a Safelite. They had a good price on glass for my cargo van. Dropped it off and it was ready a few hours later. Lobby well stocked with a keurig and some beverages like soda, water, etc. You can wait in the lobby or come back later. Friendly and efficient. Glad I went here

A joke of a company,called here to get my windshield replaced after hitting a deer. They come out and look at my car and say sorry can’t help you fix the damage on the roof of your car.(it wasn’t near the windshield and wouldn’t cause a issue via my local body shop man) so I called them again to have them come out and the technician throws a fit and his big boss called me and gave me a total line of bs and how it wouldn’t seal and he could loose his job if they did my windshield so I said screw it I’ll find somebody who actually wants to help me. I scheduled an on-site appointment to have my windshield replaced, since I have small children. On the day of my appointment, they called AFTER the appointment window had begun to let me know that they couldnt replace my windshield onsite.I would have loved some advance notice, but ok. Well make it work. I made a same day appointment and dropped off my keys. The scheduler knew I had a toddler with me and I felt uncomfortable staying in the waiting room for the expected 2.5 hour repair time. I reminded them that I would be walking home (along Eureka...during construction).They called 45 minutes later to let me know that they didnt have the parts for my repair. Further, the parts are not in the state and will take 4+ days to arrive.No thanks, Ill be taking my business to the locally owned shop that offers similar service, and hopefully has better communication skills.

We had a very poor experience with Southgate Safelite. They essentially wasted an entire day of my time, and I consider that to be a very poor approach to customer service in todays business environment.The sequence of events with this experience went as follows;- We schedule an appointment to replace a windshield for Between 8:00 and 12:00.- An email is sent to us confirming the appointment.-The rep calls at 10:00 am ~ to tell us he cannot be there until sometime in afternoon (and apparently expects me to now continue waiting all day for when he may or may not appear. I understand people get behind, so I said that is fine as long as I dont have to wait here all day).- The rep calls once, and I was on the other line. He leaves, and Safelite claims they have no more openings for five days.

Honestly I wouldnt give this place one star because I had my fiance bring our car there because our back window got smashed out they replace the window they told us that they cleaned up the glass that was in the trunk my fiance came home and the glass was not cleaned she went back and told them the glass was not picked up mind you I have a 1 year old that sits in the backseat and my one-year-old was with my fiance at the time. So again they attempted to clean up the glass a second time and told us that it was clean, Im currently sitting in my trunk vacuuming out all the glass that they shoved underneath the carpeting in the trunk. Very disrespectful and dishonest KNOWING my fiance had our one-year-old with her.

The woman that I dealt with on the phone was pleasant. The appointment that was made was for a Thursday from noon until 5. The technician called that morning and told me that the windshield that was sent was damaged and he was ordering a new one. He wasnt Sure if it would be in on time for my appointment or not. They wanted me to hold my appointment and possibly schedule one for the next day if the glass wasnt in yet. This was a problem for me because I only had that day to get it done and did not want to wait for 5 hours to find out that it would be the next day. $255ish without insurance to replace a windshield on a 2011 Kia Forte Koup. It would have been $30 cheaper if I went to their shop, which is the only downside because when I booked my appointment online nothing told me there would be a fee for using their mobile service. They came to my apartment and did the work in the parking lot. I found the crack on a Monday and it doubled in size by the time the came out. They accepted card at my apartment which is great. 1 hour worth of work and the car had to sit 30min-1hr afterwards to seal. Originally my insurance tried to charge me for the work when I called to see if insurance would cover it and it would have been almost $1000. I called Safelite in advance and the lady I spoke to corrected the issue immediately, saving me a ton of money.Highly recommend!

Brought my 2014 chrysler town and country in for a new rear windsheild. Cheapest price around. Unfortunately they broke my back hatch. Tried to make me pay for the new latch. Broke off my middle break light and did not tell me. After the 9 hours they had my vehicle i pick it up,drive down the road and hear a horrible noise that turned out to be the piece that holds my middle break light detaching from its place on the rear roof and shattering the womens windsheild driving behind me.
