I really like shopping at Aldis. Im always able to buy my usual items on my main grocery list. They also have great seasonal items at low prices.

Usually find what I need here! And fast! Since selection is small like the store is, not a bad thing! Easy peasy! Will always consider Aldi as one of my go to places to get food & other stuff!!!

Store is clean and well stocked. Yoy can fund some unique things on the weekly specials. Very budget friendly.

Aldi is always clean. Staff is always friendly. The one thing I dont care for is how certain cashiers just sling your food in the buggy. A good question to be answered, why do I spend time cleaning my buggy at the beginning of the store only to get someone elses buggy at the end?

I love Aldi because their prices are amazing. But why does this location keep all the fruit and vegetables in the middle of a warm aisle? Every time I try to buy produce there it is completely gross and covered in mold. The one of fort street is so much better and keep their produce in a refrigerated area.

Great prices but check out to be a little slow

I like that the store has wider aisles than Dearborn Heights store on Van Born. Employee was nice that helped me when I couldnt find a product I was looking for. Male cashier was nice too. Would have a five stars but stuff was not as organized in the aisles as I have seen at other stores.

For years we had one right by our house and never went now I regret it. Always a quick in and out with an array of products. The checkout is fast and they have all the basic food staples.

I like Aldis for the usual things everyone likes but on top of the usual grocery items there are certain things I always buy there. The popular mints called Ice Breakers and I believe there are other brands but Aldis has their own brand and I am addicted to them:) They are sugar free and taste much better than more expensive name brand. I also go there for some great priced Welby brand otc medications that I now buy exclusively at Aldis.So, beside the lower priced groceries look around because I didnt notice those things originally. I rarely used to shop there until I began noticing things as I mentioned!!

Great value store with good food

Afraid to rate this 5 star cause I dont want to see this place too crowded in the future. We purchase eggs, cheeses, salmon, scallops, beer, grass fed ground beef and produce. Quality is great for the price paid. In general Aldis is my main grocery store.

Reasonable prices and good service only con is that it’s a very small store so it gets crowded quickly

Cant beat the prices. The only improvement I can see is to be open 24 hours. High quality produce and a good selection of gluten free items.

This store is a no frills store. Has everything you could need. I especially like the candy bars and the cookies. Right by the door. Love it.

Love ALDI. It has everything I need. The dog food is great. And the coffee they sell is iced with love. Its this positive, fun attitude and loyal customers that keep them in business. I will continue to support my local ALDI in southgate.Hands down my favorite grocery store. Always has everything I need on the shelves and for great prices. They also carry a great selection of produce as well as jams, preserves, honey and creams! My love affair with this store started with putting a foot out of my door and in and walking into this world. My love affair is beyond words, and if it ever stops I know the author of the golden rule is straight down my street!

What can I say good and cheap

Aldi in general is great because the prices are great. If youre kind of orderly like me and get a really good cashier theyll put your groceries in your basket in a more systematic/neater fashion. But sometimes you get someone that just throws heavy items on top of boxed food for example. One area thats slacking is the bathrooms. The one on Van Born always has cleanliness issues in the bathroom. They need someone that will take care of that. Yet the one on Ford & Sheldon is fine, bathroom is clean.Watch the cheeses & bacon sometimes the cheeses are molded because its not sealed all the way and the bacon is sometimes bad because of the same issue: the package not sealed properly.Some of the security guards dont seem to really be guarding much, but I wont say more about that. Try the $2.95 mama cozi pizzas they fill you up and your kids 😊

Produce was starting to go bad. Didnt have multiple I wanted in stock. Something smelled gross by the meat section.I usually go to the Wyandotte location but since I was driving past this one I thought I would try and save some time but it turned out to be a waste of time and I had to go to Wyandotte to do my shopping anyways. Learned my lesson and will just stay out of it like the Lincoln Park one.

Good stock clean store and they had sanitizing wipes and hand sanitizer dispenser right at the door.

Excellent prices for the working man or woman! Great food selection for dinner or parties.

Love this store. I got so much stuff for $99. Only downside was nobody was following the arrows in the store and doing their own thing. The cashier was super nice and friendly. Even when I was bagging up my stuff, I could hear her ask every single person she rang up how they were doing and it wasnt forced like she couldnt wait to get home. Just a genuine nice and friendly person working during this pandemic. :) Also got a case of water which isnt pictured but seriously so much stuff and I packed those aldis bags to the brim. You couldnt even close them if you tried.

Aldi is affordable with lots of fresh fruit and vegetables, organic AND vegan food options. Ive totally transitioned all my food shopping from another big box grocery in favor of Aldi.

Clean and organized, with a friendly staff. The line to check out was a bit long and they quickly had another staff member come open a register. No complaints!

This is one of the better Aldis around town. Pretty well stocked of most popular items.

You just need to get at least 2 of the Amigo for the Handicap and see that the are charged at all times.

You start of by grabbing a shopping cart. You should have a quarter handy so you can unhook your cart from the string of carts. The store is clean, and they have a great selection of common goods that appear to be clones of name brand items. Their produce appears to be fresh and of good quality. They have a supply of good looking meats as well in common cuts and varieties. Check out was fast and efficient. You should have a supply of reusable shopping bags on hand to bag your selections as you have to bag your own goods here. After youre finished with the shopping cart you hook it back up to the string of carts so you can retrieve your quarter you started out with.

I never really go shopping here but I will from now on I just saved so much money
