Slumberland in Spencer Iowa is a great place to look for affordable yet quality furniture. The sales staff is very helpful and knowledgeable. Wish there was a slightly larger selection, but understandable with the pandemic delays.

I found a sectional on line but had a question about shipping so was transferred to the Spencer store since we live in Okoboji. I got a saleslady named Ayla on the phone and she was incredibly helpful and patient and friendly. I was able to order my sectional through her. I havent received the sectional but couldnt be happier with the service she provided. She went above and beyond to help, which seems like a hard thing to find in customer service anymore.

Get options for furniture. We went in looking for a lazyboy for my husband and after siting in i swear what felt like a hundred chairs we found one he liked. The sales woman was nice and very helpful in serving us showed us where they were and let us try out as many as we wanted and then helped us order the one we wanted. I was so excited he found a chair i forgot to look at beds oh well looks like i maybe going back to look at more items lol

Good experience. I needed a recliner asap (due to an injury) and did alot of it over the phone work . Hopefully recliner will still be good for a least a year from now(have never had one last much longer than that) employees were very pleasant to work with

I had looked online at the mattress I wanted. It is for a guest room, so I didn’t want to spend a lot of money. Got a great deal during a Black Friday sale. Went into the store to place the order and was in and out in minutes! Delivery was set up for a week later. They called to let me know a one hour window for the delivery. They were on time, friendly, and set up the mattresses in the upstairs bedroom. They took the plastic off the mattresses and brought that with them when they left so I didn’t have to deal with that. Great experience all around.

I came in to Slumberland looking for lamps. The salesperson was prompt in greeting me. I said what I was looking for and I didn’t need help right now. I went to turn on a lamp, and it wasn’t plugged in. I asked for assistance, and he came quickly. Plugged it in...no light bulb. He did not seem to be very knowledgeable about light bulbs. He may have been new. He seemed to lack the salesperson breadth of knowledge. He may need more education. But he did give me good prices, for which I am grateful. He could also use some experience in placing things in cars. He didn’t assess how things may be affected by how they are put in certain positions, eg so lamps wouldn’t roll around. He said that I’ll be on the highway so I shouldn’t have problems. Nice person, just needs guidance.

Dont get the protection plan. Sales person recommended it to us because she noticed we had kids, a seat support ripped (on our couch), went to get it fixed (thought it would be covered because it was a rip) only to go through over a month of nothing getting done and informed ot wouldnt be fixed because it looked like kids jumped on itWont be buying anything again.
