This unassuming place with very little signage tucked in an unassuming strip needs to be experienced if you get the chance. Yes, they have kolaches and, of course, donuts. They also have tacos of some sort. These are all fresh and very well made. The glaze is never messy (as if the neatness of a donut matters). Frosting on donuts is consistent and consistently good. But the absolute best item Donut Palace carries is their apple fritter. I’ve had a few in my life. And I know some of their regulars who have had a few all over the world. These are, without a doubt, the most exceptional apple fritters I have ever had. They are the perfect combination of delectable crusty on the outside and tender, warm goodness in the inside. A warning: they sometimes go fast, so you may have to arrive early to get your hands on something that could possibly be a life elevating, if not life changing experience.

Ive been going to this donut shop for years! Great food and super sweet owners. They are always appreciative of my business. Large variety and everything always tastes so fresh. They are located at the entrance of Imperial Oaks on Rayford Road.

Not only Are the donuts, kolache’s, and breakfast sandwiches at this place amazing but the people who run it are amazing as well. When I go in they know exactly what I’m gonna order and if they don’t have it they make it for me. There have been times when my daughter went in without me and forgot to order my donuts and they will even remind her. This is exactly what you would call a mom and pop shop as it is a couple that runs it together. Their recipes are on point, everything is always fresh and if you live in imperial Oaks it’s the perfect distance for breakfast before school or on the weekend.

I have been going here since I was a kid and the owner always recognizes me even when I stopped going in as frequently because I moved. She always asks how Im doing and my parents. Very sweet family. I am proud to support them! Everything is made with love ❤

Excellent doughnuts and croissants, the kolaches are pretty good too. The only things that gives me pause are the breakfast tacos. However the great owners and family environment set this place apart.Plus the doughnuts hit that perfect ratio of being sweet but not too sweet.

This is my favorite donut shop ever! My family and I moved here in 2007 and donut palace is still our go-to breakfast place. Even after living here for 13 years the food always amazes me. Its hot, fresh, tasty, and made with love. (At least i think so). If youre looking for a nice quiet place to eat. Donut palace is the place to go.

Great little mom and pop donut shop. I think their creme filled donuts are the best Ive ever had. Very customer friendly. In fact, when I come in, the lady already starts bagging a creme filled for me. One time, I got there right after they closed. They were still in their car in the parking lot. They offered to open up for me but I politely declined. They work long, odd hours, and I did not want to impose. Where in the world do you get service like that anymore?

The couple that runs the place, as well as their kids, are genuinely sweet and considerate and if you haven’t met them and gotten to know them like I have, then you’re missing out. Donut Palace rocks! All their stuff is super fresh and super delicious. The owners are the sweetest people ever and know returning customers orders and have seen customers kids grow up. In response to the review about her kids getting told to hurry up.....well its kind of common sense and courtesy that when you go somewhere to order.....you know what you want, especially if you see a huge line after you. If you dont know, you should pull your kids to the side and tell them hurry up so that you can order and get out of there. The weekends are extremely busy and lots of people have to go to church. You shouldnt blame the owners for the lack of parenting. If my kid is being a brat and taking too long..then they dont get donuts. Go to Donut Palace...support small business!

Tasty donuts, nice drink selection. Sprinkles are Christmas ones, ehh. A little turned off when lady at the counter didnt get off her phone when I was standing there waiting to order... then asks what I want... and then continues to talk on the phone. She did get off after that.

There are times when you just want a good jalapeno kolache from a local baker. This the place I go to hands down, for that hot jalapeno kolache. Owner is very sweet, I dont think she judges me for only ordering kolaches from her. Which is very important to me when it comes to that relationship. Very happy to have them around.

Doughnot order their breakfast burritos for they are cooked without love. I made the mistake of ordering two of these tortilla wrapped egg bricks and I just couldnt get it down. A long rectangular egg brick that contained little to no bacon, yet morphed into shape with tasteless, dry potato. As for their doughnuts? Ehhh....Go else where. Youd be better off.

I have had blueberry donuts from all the other donut places in area and this place hands down has the best blueberry cake donuts ever!! They are always friendly and great service.

I consider myself a doughnut/kolache afficiando and I have to say donut palace takes the doughnut cake!! You can tell the doughnuts are handmade fresh daily something that is unique these days, but every doughnut I have had here has been fantastic. On top of the great food, the owners are very friendly and treat me and my family like their own. Next time you are in the spring/woodlands area I highly recommend stopping in to get yourself a blueberry cake doughnut, a jalapeno kolache, or both!!

This place is terrible the owner changes the prices every week. And it’s never the price that is on the board. She just makes it up as she goes. You will point out that it says a certain amount for that item and she will make up a number. I went there for three weeks straight and she just pulls out whatever prices she feels on that day. Then they cheat you out of your money. She will give you the wrong change two out of three times. I’m disappointed in this place.
