Headed to the store when they first opened and I had a peaceful shopping experience. Early bird gets the worm! Produce was not good.

Bright lighting, wide aisle, very fresh fruits and vegetables. Able to find items easily.

The prices are still low compared to other places. Greetings are great as well!

Good prices but the produce needs to be rinsed. Some produce is old. Store needs an upgrade.

Very reasonable prices and I go here quite often. The reason for the 4 stars is because the meat isnt the as good as some of the other local stores. I get my meat elsewhere.

I only go to this store if I need something quick. Its not one of my go to stores. The staff are not really friendly and their selection is lacking. No vegan or vegetarian options.

There is never any regular Meow Mix and health and beauty items are expensive.  Otherwise the services are OK the employees are always nice and the store is always clean.

Nice store. The best price and they sell bulk items. You can get twice the groceries at this store for the same amount of money spent elsewhere.

This store does not have self check out. I love it. I prefer over Walmart

Protein prices are excellent and the staff was very helpful. I felt like some staples were under-stocked, such as unsalted butter. Aisles were a little messy.

Just purchased some crawfish from there sunday. Got home and they smelled bad. . Had to pick out the dead ones and boil the lives ones....I called to get reimbursed for at least half the bag and was told I should have brought it back right away. Oh yeah! Let me grab all the dead crawfish and sack it them back.Leave my party and waste more time. Very disappointed. But I should have known better. I never buy meat from them. Is always old.

Everything was old! Got home to cook and the corn had mold all over it after I peeled it!!! I should’ve known that would happen being that when we were there, the produce sitting on the shelves was so old and brown!

For me, its just a place to get a few staples here and there. I wouldnt do my major shopping there, though. I do like that I can get fruit and vegetables for a good price. Also, they usually have what I call needle in a haystack items that you cant find in most grocery stores. When I need to get a needle in a haystack I go to FOODTOWN and they never let me down!!

The produce looked old and they didnt have my sugar free French Vanilla cream .

This store usually has only 2 or 3 cashiers working at a time but the store is clean and well stocked and service is friendly.

This store aims at the lower middle class. Theres a good selection of Hispanic foods, but you wont feel out of place if youre not Hispanic. Its clean. Employees are friendly and helpful. Ample parking. Clean restroom. Check the best by date on some foods.

I always go here to buy my pork chops and baby back ribs at the location. They have a good meat selections.

I give this store a 1 Star. I would give 0 if I could. The reason for my bad review is because I recently purchased 2 packs of the catfish fillets on 12.15.2020. When my wife was getting ready to cook them on 12.16.202 we found out that both packs were spoiled. They smelled so bad my wife nearly vomited. Never will I purchase fish from this store again.

I am changing my prior negative review of this Foodtown - the last several times Ive visited, the concerns Ive had seem to have been resolved. Ive been visiting more often - and still love the employees who are always nice, friendly and helpful!

Cheap priced water

The store is usually clean and the employees are polite. I wouldnt purchase my fruit and veggies there, but it works for a quick trip. Sometimes they have great deals that may or may not be in the ad. For example, today they had a full basket of dole fruit cup packages at 99 cents each...expiring in one month. Also, every time I go for bread, it is always soft and fresh and the bags of ice are inexpensive. I dont shop there all of the time, but have never been disappointed for the times that I have.

Nice places shop add good customer service

They sell old meat and it stinks the back of the store where the meat comes from is nasty and dirty. I know because I overheard a cashier tell the manager that when she told me that the chicken she scanned for me smelled bad. I couldnt smell because of my mask. Yes so Id never buy from there ever!

Found everything I needed, well stocked and not super crowded. A little hard to find some items if you arent familiar with the store, but great all in all!

Totally a new experience. I used to go there about 12 years ago, it was dirty and things out of order, today its better than walmart on Louetta @ 45. Clean aisles, employees walk with you to find what u need, they just gained a new customer. Thanks.

Never over crowded, staff is very helpful.. Produce is good quality. They are also taking precaution with covid by having hand sanitizer by the carts to wipe them down.👍

I bought some Doritos here just now and they were good. I come here a lot to buy Doritos. They always have Doritos. They even have new buffalo spicy Doritos, can you believe that? Lets see, they have Doritos, spicy Doritos, cool ranch Doritos, regular plain no cheese Doritos, what ever type of Doritos you fancy, the got em! They also sale other food here and stuff.

Has come a long way since it was Budget Chopper back in the 80s &90s. Price of food was rather steep imo. But I only bought 3 things. Overall, nice store with nice & helpful employees.

This particular food town is always clean and presentable with very reasonable prices. The cashiers are very courteous and professional and the manager is always observed making his rounds. Job well done.

It stinks from the front door it was my first an last time shopping there. I was only picking up miscellaneous item wouldve bought no meats, not to mention how expensive the item were. It is amazing how grocery stores, big box stores, liquor stores, gas stations are so much more expensive in urban community.

Clean, always great sales, AMAZING PRICE AND QUALITY of produce. Parking is easy to get, area is clean and safe, staff are really nice no matter what time of day I stop by. And for me its super close too. They are close to a lot of ppl actually. So thats cool.

Would be 5 stars if the location didnt suck! But its does have the cheapest bags of ice in town 89 cents for a 7 pound bag. Several other great deals as well. I have recommended it to friends in the past.

This is your typical grocery store. It is a large store that has a good selection of latin based foods and spices. There are many off-brands here that I had never heard of before. The staff here is always helpful in finding whatever you need. It is a good place to go in, get what you need and leave in a few minutes. The store itself sometimes isnt the cleanest, but this does not happen that often.

They have some good prices on their sausages and ham and Turkey lots of seafood and seasoning

Although as a whole the story is a good store. I have noticed that many of its employees seem to rather not be there. They are more concerned with when their time off is then treating their customers right. It has been more than once that I have been treated badly there. But make no mistake you do have some Associates that are far and above great customer service Associates. When I learn their names I will submit it under this thread.
