Five star service, From the very beginning through the complete ordering process Adam Walters showed professionalism and was very easy to deal with. He stayed in touch with me every two weeks through out the build even if there was no update. He was always there to answer questions. the complete dealership is first class, Sue was excellent during the delivery and paper work portion. Horrible service all the way around from management to sales and maintenance. Everyone had bad attitudes and rude remarks. They treat you like you are wrong from the start even if they are in the wrong. They will send you back and forth on hold till you are forced to hang up. Horrible horrible service I could go on and on about it but Ill stop here.
The boat dock was great. I had been searching for a tracker V175 combo for a while. They were the only place with one within hundreds of miles. I live about 3 hours from springfield but was able to do everything smoothly by phone until the day of picking up my new boat. It was quick and painless. In and out in about an hour with my new boat headed back home. We are very pleased at how easy the entire experience went.

A great staff and thorough service department. We lived for over 6 years in Springfield and exclusively did business with The Boat Dock. We purchased a new Crownline from them and naturally we were given the Red Carpet treatment during the sale. But after the sale, we were treated with the same courtesy and professionalism during each visit until we moved out of state. The Service Department helped us each fall when winterizing so when we hit the water in the spring, our boat always started on the first try and kept running all season. Special commendations go out to Scott who saw us through our entire boating experience with enthusiasm and outstanding courtesy. From our initial purchase until preparations for moving out of state, he went the extra mile. Best of luck to everyone there!
Interesting the last post says they are still open by appointment and or can do video etc..but they are definitely closed. Had an appointment to pick up a pending purchase and no one home. Interestingly enough the hours list them as currently open. I certainly have no issue with businesses closing during this situation I just cant understand why we would setup an appointment over the phone and then not call and say hey we are not doing it.
I changed my rating for the boat dock after considering how hard Scott tried to make a deal for me on a 16 foot bass buggy. I know it wasnt his fault. So due to that I changed my rating to 5 stars because he is a good salesman. I was just a little aggravated that we couldnt come to a agreement.
I called them up for a rv part. The parts guy told me to text them a picture of the part which I did. Still havent heard back and that was 3 days ago. I called them up several times to follow up. The girl at the desk transfers me to some person that does the financing then gets transfer somewhere else but then the call gets disconnected or lost. I did this multiple times with them playing phone tag. I was done with it and Ill just get the part online after all that. Oh yeah my in laws just bought new boat from them couple months ago and a changing room partition was supposed to come with there new boat but it didnt and there still waiting for it or if it will even come. Go somewhere else.
Our pontoon boat has been at the Boat Dock since April 9th, 2020. It went in for routine prep, (oil change ...etc. We were informed that the engine was running hot one minute and cold the next, and they recommended replacing the thermostat. The part didnt arrive until Friday June 26th, 2020. They said they would start on it first thing Monday morning, June 29th. As of this morning, Tuesday June 30th, 2020. We still dont have our boat. Its pretty apparent at this point The Boat Dock doesnt know their butt from a hole in the ground. Why does it take almost 3 months to have routine maintenance completed? The Boat Docks excuse was they had to wait on the part, and due to the Covid 19 pandemic its delivery was delayed. Yet they have quite of few outboard motors on their showroom floor with the part we needed. Even then they have had the part they needed for 5 days now and there is no indication when we will get our boat. The fact is The Boat Dock has broken the engine and has no idea how to fix it. The real hosing has yet to come. When, and they finally say the boat is fixed, (it probably will not be done correctly) and they will expect us to pay for it. This place sucks
My wife and I reached out to this business and geeked out credit application spoke to several reps for last 3 days and have yet to receive a call back have left multiple messages and we have yet to get a return call had heard good things about this place but based on are customer experience I’m at liberty to say that we are going to look elsewhere.the rep we dealt with at first was suppose to follow up with us and never did

I bought a 2016 Tracker PT190TX! My 2nd boat from The Boat Dock. The team set me up with a great electronics package & they installed it for me. The install looks factory👌. When i came to pick the boat up i was given a thorough presentation on the boat, motor, trailer & upgrades. I purchased my first used boat from a private party in the Summer of 2016. I immediately started researching for a qualified Mercury certified service center. There are others closer to my house, but I ended up settling on The Boat Dock. Im glad I did. The boat has now been serviced twice at The Boat Dock, and its been smooth both times. They do the work correctly, quickly, and give your boat back in the same condition you gave it to them.

Over priced and very slow service dept. Dropped the boat off for service didnt get it back for almost a month. It sat for over a week before they wrote up the ticket. They replaced a fuel filter, a gas hose and installed a carburetor kit. Turned out the defective part was the lower gas hose, from the gas tank, that they failed to replace. I ordered from Amazon and replaced. Not happy!
The saying is buyer beware ...I went in Spring of 2019 t talk about a boat, a Sun Tracker Party Barge 2016 22 DLX with a 40 horse motor they wanted $17,895 used . It seemed to me to be very over priced and under powered but both the salesman and the manager told me they thought the price was fair. I went back the NADA and the highest retail value on the boat I found was $15,845.So I didnt buy a boat from them and I wont say the Boat Dock is bad, good, fair or not fair. Just becuase my experience may not what I wanted you may find just what you want there. Yet you should be sure to be well informed when you buy from anyone.

First off Ive bought a few boats and love their sales staff. The parts department is another story, they told me two days on getting a special order part. Okay, Ill pay to buy local vs internet and pay more. Well a week later part comes in...had to make it work and had wrong fitting on it. Should have bought online! Just mostly upset if they tell you two days it should be there, especially when boating season is short enough.
Scott was very helpful! He really worked for the customer. He would follow up immediately with any question. The communication was better than any other experience Ive had with boat salesman.
Do NOT take your boat to be repaired here! They have the worst customer service. They took much longer to look at our ski boat than they told us and then when they finally got back to us they tried to sell us expensive repairs that had nothing to do with why we took the boat in and when we called them out on it they admitted they didnt know what was wrong with it but had to start somewhere ... since when does a business get to GUESS whats wrong? Unacceptable! Then, the worst part is the disrespect they had for my property. One of their servicemen took our boat out on the water to test drive it and brought it back with scratches all over and the pinstripe on the nose of the boat all tore up. The disregard for my boat was not acceptable and the manager and the owner did not apologize for the situation or handle it professionally at all. The owner was a jerk. Not sure how this place stays in business! Im just disgusted.

I can say this has been the most disappointing experience I have had in a long time. We are new to boating. I called and spoke with Scott the salesman regarding a new 2016 Moomba Mondo. He was super helpful on the phone. We took a 3 hour drive to check out the boat. Scott was nowhere to be found and kept dumping us on an RV guy- a really nice guy but didnt know anything about what we needed help with. We ended up buying the boat because it was a decent price. But, every single person we dealt with has failed to follow through on what they said they would do. From finding us someone to help us with the boat on the lake we said we would be in. Taking us on the water to teach us. Processing the MSO in a timely manner. Even telling us you couldnt leave the boat in the water or it would hurt the gel coat. This is a sales only, couldnt care less about customers organization. I run a sales and service company. I know about the power of promoters and detractors. I take giving bad reviews seriously. This is not the place to do business.
