147 days to repair oil drain plug.Dropped my ATF off on April 3rd to repair stripped threads on the oil drain plug. As I was leaving, the guy said it would be about 6 weeks. I first thought he was joking but he wasn’t. I didn’t have an immediate need for it, so I just left it.I waited until the end of June / early July to call. They said it would be 2 more weeksI called August 20th. Guy said the old manager was gone and he was very sorry it has taken so long. He said they would waive labor charges as an apology.August 27th they finally finished it. When I picked it up, I was charged for the part and… you guessed it…. $119 for one hour of labor. I was so upset, I didn’t even bother arguing, I just wanted my ATV back and to be done with these people forever.Don’t believe anything they tell you.

I have purchased a CanAm Ryker, and Kawasaki Z650 in 2020, and Kawasaki Z1000 this year. I would say that Dylan(Professional Sales Man) treat me like hes walking in my shoes. He is very patient and passionate about product knowledge. He wont let you walk away feeling uncomfortable, hes a stand up young man.. Brian Smith recommended add ons, helmets tires and things that I would need in the future. These guys make me not want to even look elsewhere for anything. Thank God for people like them. They saved me so much money.

Just bought my first UTV here and was very impressed. Picked a 2020 Kawasaki Mule Pro FXT EPS Camo. They made me a great deal - nice discount! But the best part was the extended 8-year warranty offered by Kawasaki for HALF PRICE! I wanted some options like hard top and glass windshield and signal lights which took a while to get in, which is understandable with the Covid, murder Hornets, etc etc. 😊. But once the parts arrived, JASON, TREVOR and the service department busted their collective butts to get the items installed. I also wanted nicer wheels than the stock black solid wheels. The parts guy (sorry I did not get his name) poured over several catalogs to find wheels that were the right size, in stock, and within my budget. He had them next day! And the best part is all accessories are discounted 15% if you buy your UTV from them. This saved me a few hundred $.My Mule was delivered after hours last night and its great. There is a minor rubbing sound in the front which Im sure they will diagnose and fix. Overall A GREAT EXPERIENCE. Would definitely buy here again.

Just bought a 2016 Triumph Rocket 3 from Dylan at WP, Dylan had a lot of knowledge & was quick to respond when I called with more questions. He knew we where a distance away so he took many photos of the bike & sent them (I had wasted my time at a different dealer looking at a mess of a bike because the sales men lied) great experience with everyone we spoke with here at WP. The parts guy was really helpful too & the finance guy made the purchase easy. We got a fantasic deal on a clean bike that isnt even broke in yet!

I bought a motorcycle there in 2016, online, *with a 4 yr extended warranty,* and had it shipped to me in Los Angeles. The Honda Africa Twin was new and in limited supply because of an earthquake in Kunamoto Japan where they are assembled. Id called *every* Honda dealer in South and Central California, Phoenix, and Las Vegas. Nobody had a red DCT in stock, so I cast the net wider.11 months later that bike was written off in a crash. Once everything was settled I bought another bike, from a different dealer, remembered I had bought an extended warranty & the insurance adjustor said I should contact the dealer for compensation on that warranty.I did so. The person at the dealership said to fax in the total loss report and it would all get sorted, all I needed to do was include the VIN number. So i emailed the insurance adjustor and they faxed it in. Then crickets.I was busy so I kinda forgot about it, then sent an email a few months later saying hey, wheres my money? and they acted like they didnt know me. After several emails and several weeks, with no action i left a bad review on Yelp. Suddenly, they were interested.Jason Comer, a manager there, promised to get to the bottom of it, then fix it. And then ... he didnt. I gave him a timeline, sent copies of the documents, they sent a check for the wrong amount.The check they sent represented about *half* what I should have got back. I called and emailed him several times about it but he acted like our previous correspondence on the matter didnt exist, even though if you scrolled to the bottom of the email it was all there. They cheated me out of my warranty refund by pretending the warranty was only voided when I left the bad review, when they first got back to me.The warranty was first voided when the crash wrecked the bike. That would have been the proper end date. However, it took me a few months to get back to them with the total loss report, and the date the email was sent to me saying I just faxed it is the proper date they should have ended it and refunded me. Thats when they received the total loss report the first time. Nope.I called and emailed to no effect over a couple of weeks.After I wrote the bad review, many months later, when he reached out to me, thats the date they used as the end date, as the date I initiated the cancellation. A full year later.I dont expect to get a refund from any time they werent aware that the bike they warranteed was written off. It would be nice, but thats not how things work.I *DO* expect that the day they got the fax to be honored as the day I requested the cancellation.Dont do business with them. Save your money and reward better organisations. They are amoral.I should note. Ive bought two more of the same bike since then, I loved the bike.Purchased bike, Honda Africa Twin. July 2016. Got it in August.Bike written off. July 2017.Called and informed them December 2017Total Loss Report faxed January 26 2018.

If there was a rating of ZERO this place would qualify 1000% for. Worst service you could every get. They only have ONE person that works of 4 wheel vehicles. Must be because they treat their employees the same as they treat people that bring their equipment in for warrantee work. Ill never take anything back to this joint and when I pick up my 2021 ATV, Ill never set foot in their business.

We took our Harley here last weekend to get a motorcycle inspection. While being inspected one of the techs broke one of our exhaust mounts. Nobody said a word to us about it. And we didnt notice until we got home. You guessed it and they dont want to do anything about it. And we live 2 hours from there.My husband just got off the phone with Jason he didnt even offer to do anything to make the situation right.

Purchased a bike from here in April of 2020 from out of state (8hrs away). Overall a good experience, some bumps in the test ride experience as far as waiting time/prepping the bike for safety and other stuff, dirty bike on delivery, but still had a positive experience overall and met some great people that took care of me and I purchased a great motorcycle!! Over all decent experience... Bought a Blue 01 Vulcan 800 Classic... only 7,000 miles on it I got a great deal... however I believe that they knew about the bike having a considerable fuel leak which is common when they sit... I was able to fix it for under $75 and rebuilt the carb and petcock as well as tightening the bolts for the front pipe... now it runs like a dream... I still give them 4 starts because the above could have been a miscommunication as Jason kept his word thought the rest of the deal from start to finish... also gave me a discount on some new handlegrips and bike cover. I would return.

Honesty is in short supply these days. So far they have been very kind and updated me on everything. I havent received my bike back yet, but its only been two weeks so far. They called me before purchasing anything for the bike to get my approval. I recommend them highly. I just hope the bike is in perfect condition when I get it back. I had emailed to inquire about a 2019 Kawasaki Vulcan 900 Classic. Received an email stating there was on in stock at the Springfield store and to call to set up a time to see it. Called to set up a time and was told by the salesman I talked to that he would be there on Saturday between 9-4 but to come as early as possible to be able to take a test ride. While on that call I asked to be sure that they did in fact have the specific bike I was wanting to test. The salesman ensured me that they had one there and it would be there the next day when I arrived.I drove an hr to the store on Saturday morning and arrived at 9 am. Asked for the salesman I had been working with and was told he isn’t here yet but should be there shortly. I ended up having to wait a full hour for him to arrive. When he got there he apologized and said that his friends had taken him out for his birthday the night before and they “shut down the 3 o’clock bars.”We went to take a look at the bike I had been inquiring about and was walked over to the wrong model Vulcan and was told that it was the one I wanted. When I pointed out that it was the wrong one he pointed to the handwritten tag that said it was a classic. I then pointed out that the tank said it was a Vulcan custom and not the one I was wanting to check out.He checked the system and Told me that they don’t have a Vulcan Classic but both the other stores did have them.I had 3 hours of my day wasted because the salesman couldn’t arrive to work on time and doesn’t know what he is actually selling.Would not recommend to others to shop here.Update: I got in contact with Jason, the sales manager later that day. He was very apologetic and said he would do whatever it took to make it right. I told him my terms and what it would take. He got back with me about a great offer in a timely fashion.

I called World of Powersports on Friday to set up a time to bring my bike in for its initial inspection/oil change since purchase. I spoke with Jameson to set things up for the next day. He told me initially that it may take several days based on workload. I brought the bike in at 10:00am and he told me that they would get right on it. I got a call just after 12:15 pm telling me the bike would be finished by 12:30pm. I was very impressed on how efficient Jameson and the mechanic were and was able to get a couple hours of riding in this afternoon with the good weather we had. Thanks guys for a job well done!!

Wish there was a zero star. Started off by showing up to the store, walking in, and approaching a man behind the counter. I told him I was there for an oil change and he told me to “park it out back”...? That’s all he said. No instructions.. so I comply and take my bike to the back. I felt weird just leaving it there so I walked into the shop and approached a mechanic and asked him if my bike was in the right spot. He said it was. The next day - at 4pm - I get a call assuming my bike is done. Apparently my bike ended up on the used show room floor! No one knew what my bike was since the guy behind the counter didn’t care enough to walk to the back and pull my bike inside/leave a not on it?? The guy on the phone said that he would get a mechanic on it and he was sorry. Okay, no problem. Mistakes happen. So I rush home from work and arrive to the store to ride my bike home. I show up and there are 5 people just standing behind the counter. I told them I was there to pick up my bike and they proceed to tell me the bike wasn’t ready! Terrible customer service, rude staff, avoid at all costs. I will be taking my business elsewhere.

Well, they are polite and apologetic, but thats about all I can say positive. Other than that, our experience was simply deplorable. We took my husbands scooter in on March 1st and didnt get it back until March 28th. First it was a busted belt and a part needed to be ordered. Then they broke a part while fixing it and had to order THAT part (which they were kind enough to only charge me for that part and not the labor, not kidding). Then they put the clutch back together wrong. We finally got it back and they said the battery was dead, but they charged it overnight so the battery must be bad. Funny thing though, I put in a brand new battery on March 1st before we brought it into the shop. Sure enough, took the battery back to where we bought it and its fully charged. Must be something wrong with the bike. Now we need to take it in to some other place in town and pay for another repair after already being without our second vehicle for a month because there is no way were bringing our scooter back within 300 yards of this place. All in all, save yourself a ton of trouble and look elsewhere for repairs.

Staff was polite and the new inventory on-site is impressive. Ive been in 3 times for misc. parts but left empty handed each time. The business is more interested in selling and servicing new vehicles than selling individual parts or working with older vehicles. The parts I came in looking for were a go kart shock absorber preload adjustment tool, an ATV battery box, and a strut spring compressor.

Gary SligerI cant say enough good about these guys. I was on vacation on my ST1300. The rear brakes stuck on burning up the rear brake pads while on the highway. On 8/13 I show up at their shop with out an appointment. They squeezed me in & treated me like a king. Husband called in to have a part ready for me to pick up after work. I walk to the service counter and 2 employees were behind the counter assisting a woman. I stood behind her assuming I was in line. Another gentleman walked up and asked if he could help. He had my part ready to go. As he is entering my information, I realize the woman was an employee and they were all standing there chatting. I stood in line like a dummy and they never acknowledged me. Extremely rude. A man walked up to the counter a few minutes later and they scattered and asked if he needed assistance right away. Im not sure why his business was more important than mine. People may not remember good customer service, but they will always remember the bad.

Im giving 2 stars simply because I got the bike Ive been searching for here. the experience on the other hand, left a lot to be desired. I wont drop any names on this review. It all started when a search for this particular bike, led me to world of powersports. researching the company via google reviews, noticed a trend that I was also dealing with. the sales guy would say he will call you right back after putting some numbers together, and never really ever getting the call back. I am from out of state, and was willing to travel to get this bike. the sales guy never got back to me, EVER, even after stating he would call me right back. I felt like I was doing all the work. So reading the reviews, I noticed the manager would respond to some of the negative ones with his cell #, so I decided to call him directly to get info I was looking for before I decided to travel over 5 hours to pick up this motorcycle. Well calling manager directly offered little to no improvements of my initial complaint, but I will say he actually called me back. Im not really sure that the sales guy knew what he had in this motorcycle. In my conversations with him, he said everything was stock on the bike, upon arrival, I noticed a couple aftermarket pieces, not a deal-breaker, but would have been nice to know since I did ask. When I 1st laid my eyes on the bike, I was stunned at how absolutely filthy the bike was. I had been in contact with them for over a month, they knew I was traveling from out of state and when I was coming, and the bikes physical appearance upon my arrival was shocking to say the least. Bug guts, and covered with a thick film of dust. Never have I ever bought a vehicle from a dealership, new or used, NEVER have they been in the condition this bike was in. If you are like me, and customer service will go a long way towards repeat business, then look elsewhere. I can safely say that I will never return to this facility. Maybe I was treated this way because I was out of state and they knew they would never have to deal with me again, I dont know. Either way, the experience must be shared here and hopefully will help you if you are to ever consider purchasing from world of powersports in springfield IL. I will never return.**update*Called the manager and he owned up to the responsibility of some of the issues I had and apologized, I can appreciate that. Also, Ive only owned the bike for a few months now and i gotta say, I love the bike the more I ride it. Ill give another star and admit, I may do business with them again for these reasons.

If I could give no stars, I would. Disappointingly unprofessional when it comes to repairs; breaks parts and then forgets to tell you OR even call when your equipment is ready. Plus the place is a ghost town; bunch of knuckleheads hiding behind the counter wishing they werent there. Bate and switch, working with sales staff on Can Am Spyder. We loaded my tradein on the truck an drove 50+ miles to World of Powersports Springfied store.Salesman met us at the door, we unloaded the truck, they looked over my trade in. We test drove the spyder everything was good. Then the salesman dropped the bomb. So Sorry the wrong sales ticket was on the spyder. We loaded up and left, when I got home I discovered my tail gate was scratched from their ramp. The end with world of powersports.

I took my motorcycle to this shop for a clutch problem on Friday (8/03/2018) around 1pm and during this time of day with all of the activity in this City I explained my problem to Bruce. Bruce politely said we are pretty busy but will take a look and see if we can get you back on the road. His teck diagnose the problem which was a leaking clutch hose. They did not have the hose in inventory but said we think we have a fix for the problem. I am from out of state and thanks to this great service department I was back on the road Saturday afternoon and home on Sunday afternoon. Great job guys... Oh the cost was very reasonable.

I would like to Thank Jason the Manager of the World of Powersports for reaching out to me and actually taking his time to talk to me about my experiences at his World of Powersports stores. He listened to my complaints and wanted to make sure that even if I didnt shop at his stores no more he still wanted to resolve the issues. Thanks also to Josh (Salesman) at the Decatur store who also reached out to me to make sure everything was ok and is also helping me purchase a motorcycle. I will continue to shop at World of Powersports because of the Professional and understanding of Customer Service.

Called about a safety recall, was told they would look into it. Never heard back. Called BRP direct, safety recall was good they never go out of date I was informed. Called back to store and was told the recall was no longer valid. They started back peddling once I told them I talked to BRP. Sorry lost any of my business they were ever gonna get.

Repairs were a little slow and bike was filthy when I picked it up. Everything was done correctly and worked properly. Wish these guys could hit on all cylinders from sales to service. They seem to be trying and I havent given up on them.

Terrible service took my 4 wheeler up to be worked they didn’t want to put carb back on because they said it was a liability issue. I had them put on coolant line spicot on and got it home put the carb back on started it up and boom coolant everywhere. Not to mention the communication was terrible they said they would call me with updates and never did I had to call them for updates. I don’t ever write reviews but this one I had to I wouldn’t recommend anyone to go to world of power sports in Springfield. If I would let me I would rate negative 5 stars

Went in looking to buy two quads and the kid who met us on the sales floor told us both of them had sold before checking or really even trying to help us. Come to find out that the four wheelers we were looking for were in Decatur so I emailed the Decatur store and they were still available. Will not be returning to the Springfield location.

Horrible over the phone and online experience. It all started by me submitting an online inquiry on a bike through their website on a Monday. Tuesday still no call back or email. Wednesday rolls around so I decide to call. They put me on hold for awhile and say our sales department is busy so I politely give them my name and number to give me a call when someone is available. Thursday rolls around. Still no call so I decided to call again, wait on hold and same thing. Unable to get ahold of someone. The receptionist politely says she will make sure someone reaches out to me by the end of the day. And again to my surprise no one reaches out. At this point now it’s friday morning 9am and I call again and finally get ahold of dylan in sales at the Springfield Illinois store. I ask him how much it’ll be to buy a perticular dirt bike. He tells me he’ll get numbers together and give me a call right back. No call back and realize the place is an hour from closing so I call again just to get an idea on what numbers are, and he once again says he’ll get numbers together says he for sure call me back in 30 mins. Well what do you know. No call back it’s now Saturday and at this point I’m extremely annoyed. Call in once again and he finally gives me a price on a bike I’ve been calling on for a WEEK!! Horrible salesman, this is the reason people have a bad taste in their mouth about sales people. I work in car sales and have never seen this in my entire 5+ years in sales period.

Dont believe what the put on the website. Drove 5 hrs to look at a bike that they took rear seat and windshield off at listing the bike. They are a joke management never even would come out and discuss it. There answer was thats life
