Second Tesla place I’ve visited in the last three months. Same problems. I just expect more from the brand. Where is the front door to the Service side? There’s no one truly there. As a customer you feel lost.No one wants to use the waiting room… wait… does anyone know there is a lounge? It’s empty!No one really cares about the customer. They don’t even seem eager to sell their cars!

Had my 2013 Model S serviced at the Springfield, NJ location. The initial service had some issues, but a follow-up visit got everything taken care of. What impressed me is that they took the time to address the issues, and made it right. They even discounted my service bill for a few of the small items, in good faith. So, to summarize - have patience with those service guys, they are trying to accommodate everyone and they will get to you. Even when there are 5 cars deep at the service check in station.

Service appointments are always a breeze and getting in touch with a service member is as easy as going into the Tesla App and just sending a message. 9/10 times they respond within minutes. I have had a Tesla for 4 years now and have always used this service center and have never had a problem!

A guy named Geo provided extremely poor customer service to me. I called in to asking two questions:1. Why does tesla charge $6 days after issuing the final invoice and after I already paid full balance? Cant the $6 be included in the invoice the first time?2. Im not comfortable providing my bank login information to Tesla again and again, which is insecure and a hassle. Can I pay the $6 by credit card?His response: there is nothing we can do about it. Then he countered: you are getting a car and you are worried about paying $6?He doesnt understand, nor does he care that the customers frustration is about the process.He refused to transfer the call to his manager, and he then hang up on me.Terrible service. The process and attitude is a disservice to loyal customers.

Seriously need to work on communication. Car is nice (when everything works). You kind of have to think of Teslas as works in progress I guess. If you expect to pay $50,000 for a car that works as intended and won’t have issues within a the first month, it’s not the car for you. If you can live with the constant service and work a job that’s flexible enough for you to take multiple 4 hours off to wait for service go for it. It is a hell of a lot of fun. Waiting for mine I got a month ago to get a factory defect fixed today. Got a loaner at the trim below what I owned that was dirty and had snot smeared on the steering wheel. I’m not generally one to get grossed out but man, that did it.

Recently visited the showroom to pick up my first Tesla.The showroom itself is located on Rt 22- make sure not to miss the entrance as it can easily be missed and you might have to find the next exit/make a U turn.The bathrooms were clean. Ample amenities coffee or tea or water. Nothing for a quick bite though.Few Wall connectors installed on the parking lot so if you are in the areaYou can connect your car- the staff is welcoming and accommodating.Must admit- from beginning to end the buying process was smooth and transparent.Spent approx 3-4 hours.Our sales advisor Mr Joe Chavez was incredible.We had all sorts of question ranging from vehicle operation, battery charging, warranty and so on.Joe explained and demonstrated the “How to “questions very well.He is a good listener and offered us his advise regarding charging that saved us few hundred dollars.If you are planning to test drive one- ask for Mr Joe- and you will thank me later.(The only drawback of getting a used Tesla is You cannot test drive the car that you are planning to purchase, So we test drove a new one.)Over all experience-5 star.

Worst!! I took my model Y to overcome noice through driver side window.. two services and outcome was like factory default. I would have been ok with their answer but I am so mad what they have done to my car. Right after service, I saw many scratches at driver side door which happened during the service. I took photos right away as a proof. I made an appointment to address them a week after. When I got there to the service center, I was told to send them photos and manager will make a decision. It’s been a month and they haven’t contacted me. I also gave my feedback to Tesla customer service but nothing.

My cousin ordered his Model 3 from the Tesla dealership and I was by his side through out the whole process. It was exciting, and I felt in control for most of the process. I felt the initial customer service person was excellent... very respectful and seemingly knowledgeable. Then a week before our agreed upon delivery date, He got a call from the inventory guy (the car had to be shipped there first). He said they will deliver it the next day. This would have been great had it not been that my cousin was out of town for another five days (they knew that). They wanted him to change his plans so they could get it off their lot was the reason He was told. Its a long story, but luckily my his wife was able to be home from work to receive the car two days later.Other that the little delivery hiccup, the process was soooooo smooth! I’m in love with this car as if it was mine. I cannot wait to buy my own.WoooooHooooo Tesla !!!!

Let me preface this review by saying I absolutely love the car. This review is entirely pointed at the Springfield Service Center and apparently Teslas overall customer service culture, or lack thereof. I have been dealing with a known defect on my car for close to 3 years now that Tesla refuses to fix. It is shocking that they care so little about their customers. DO NOT PATRONIZE THIS CENTER AS THEY WILL NOT TREAT YOU WITH THE RESPECT YOU WOULD EXPECT! Apparently once you have bought the car they no longer care to stand behind it. Beware!

Additionally, he notified me of the 1 year of free supercharging as well as the ending of the NJ rebate. Without any heads up I would have surely missed out on both! Excellent car handles very well just for a passenger prospective (side passenger or back passenger) not all that comfortable feels very empty, no where to hold on, no where to rest your harms needs more improvement on those areas. We do long drives not only the driver needs comfort but the entire crew on that car. Model X for a family car missed a bit the mark.

This is where dreams come true!Update- still love the car but tesla Probably the worst vehicle service/aftercare system in human history. Everything must be scheduled in their app. They randomly cancle service appointments or tell you there are some services that the dont do. Its not possible to actually speak with anyone. Everything is via instant messaging in the app and sometimes it works and sometimes it doesnt.If you are going to buy a tesla plan on finding a reputable 3rd party repair show before you purchase.

Great Car but terrible Dealership and Customer Service.If your car comes with any defects, reject the car outright. They will scam you.My experience purchasing a Tesla Model Y - We picked up our car in September. There were a few minor defects and we were told they would be fixed right away by a service appointment. 2 months later and I am still waiting for my appointment. No one gets back to me. They dont pick up the phone. They have rescheduled my visit twice. They cancel hours before the appointment telling me they dont have the parts. They tell you that you cannot return the car if you have applied to the NJ EV rebate program. This is illegal by the way. The NJ Lemon law does not stop you from returning the car. Your warranty says nothing of this.I love my Tesla dont get me wrong, but go to another dealership. Do not buy from this place. They are scam artists. If they dont fix my car ASAP, I will pursue legal channels.

This Tesla store (dont call them a dealership theyll be offended) leaves a lot to be desired. The cars are nice but come with many imperfections from the manufacturer which you might spot upon pick up or often times after the fact. The employees definitely have a swagger about them. Theyre super nice when you book a test drive and come in to inquire, but forget about getting help after purchase. There is not anyone person that runs the store so the sales advisors will point you to service. And service is severely short-staffed. They dont take incoming calls, they dont have a receptionist, and so you wont be able to get anyone on the phone. Theyll point you to your mobile app which will take weeks to set up an appointment and they wont take walk ins either. If youre lucky, your vehicle will have no flaws. But if you need it repaired after purchase, youll face a terrible experience lacking customer service, commitment and accountability. You will be totally stressed out about it. Service manager Tavon is arrogant and wont go the extra mile to help you. They simply dont care since the cars sell themselves.

Ill be fair as possible here.On my way to work, my tire blew out on my Y on the GSP. Being closer to this location I had the car towed here. Thinking it would be an easy in and out being that it was just a flat tire and probably needed a replacement. I was greeted by Angie who was very courteous. Being that it was a Monday morning after all the snow, seemed like they were getting very busy in there. Jenny the team lead handled my account. She also was very professional and courteous.To make a long story short, today is Wednesday and had to pick up my own tire from the Princeton location and bring it in to get it installed.Actually I reached out to my sales rep who took care of me in Princeton and he was able to get me the tire PLUS he went out his way to deliver it to my house after he got out of work.Back to Springfield - Jenny did her best, but I believe the location is overloaded and understaffed in the service dept. The communication of not really being able to speak to service dept since they ask you to use the app gets frustrating at times.I dont believe a tire replacement should take this long and I shouldnt have to BYOTire lol.If the review was based just on Jenny, I would give higher, but based on the location and overall experience, I had to give only 3.With the actions that my sales rep did from Princeton, that sold me on going there next time.Jenny - Angie - thank you for your assistance!

People are nice here but they can’t answer many questions or help with many issues as they are a secondary location. Unfortunately they never have the parts for repairs, they have new management here often and so they are limited. I would not buy here or get repairs here. They are pretty good at getting the cars to you if you buy but past that every question they give you an email and any exception can’t be made at their location. 4/5 times I’ve been here the staff suggested another location because that location had more resources than them. I believed this after their location shows only having 4 slow chargers where others have 8 or more super chargers. Very nice people just not a location for more than test drives.

Delivery outside at night, in the rain, and rushed after a 50 minute wait with no explanation—that was my Model S delivery experienced at Springfield, NJ. So much for the Delivery bay experience with bright lights and seeing your sparkling new Tesla for the first time. Think twice about this location for delivery. Tesla got its third quarter numbers...I got a third rate delivery. Oh, and if you call them, dont expect a return call.

Modifying my review because I was sold a Tesla Model 3 that was faulty and Im receiving no correspondence from the engineering team as to how to resolve the problem. Collision detection kicks in out of nowhere driving the car into another lane and locking the steering wheel even and no, autopilot is not engaged. Thats because when I did use auto pilot and adaptive cruise control, the car would automatically stop on the highway when there were no cars on the road. Im receiving no assistance from Tesla whatsoever on the issue and went from being a die-hard supporter of the brand to being supremely disappointed, especially after the collision detection locked up and drove the vehicle into a parked car and nearly killed my wife. Thank goodness it happened on a slow residential street and not the highway. And my wife is a certified defensive driving instructor with no moving violation history.

Do not trust getting your Tesla at this location or any maintenance here. I picked up my new Model 3 here and when starting the vehicle, had a TPMS low pressure on front passenger side tire. Sales reps said they would take it to their technicans to see the issue. They told me it was just a system error and after driving it a few minutes it would reset and the low pressure alert would go away. I unfortunately trusted them.After 3 phone conversations with no assistance and 300 miles driven I finally decided to check the tire pressure myself. IT WAS MORE THAN 25% BELOW RECOMMENDED PRESSURE AND I WAS DRIVING IT FOR A FEW HUNDRED MILES. The sales reps at this facility do not care about your well being and will send you on your way putting your safety in danger.

1/8/2019I should preface my review with a Star Rating breakdown...My love of the Tesla brand and my overall experience of driving my Model 3 LR since July 2018: 5-StarsMy overall delivery experience and interactions with the Sales staff of Tesla Springfield: 4-StarsMy overall experience with Tesla Springfield Service (Management & Service Techs) both in person and on the phone (EVERY call in to Springfield will be a 10-15 min. wait IF youre lucky): 1-StarGranted I think that this location is completely overwhelmed with the volume of cars and often OCD nitpicking Tesla owners, but that aside, my direct interaction with SEVERAL staff members during my last service attempt was completely unprofessional, disorganized and embarrassing.I had set up an appointment with Springfield to address some Autopilot errors in my Model 3 after being repaired after my Tesla vs. Deer accident. My honest review of that recommended, Tesla Certified shop can be found in my Yelp reviews, but point being, my car needed some more TLC.I showed up in Springfield at my scheduled appointment 12/20/18 to pick up a service loaner and be on my way, but this is where the confusion and issues started. The first tech who greeted me said maybe we can just check it out and you wont have to leave it.... so after 30-min wasted standing around during rush-hour, I was finally given my non-EV loaner directed by a more astute Techs understanding of the pre-filed notes in my file. What was discovered two days later is that although the Certified Tesla shop had run up a HUGE bill on my insurance claim they either overlooked or damaged the front radar sensor during reassembly. Great! Problem solved right? Not so fast...So I was called to pick up my car and when I showed up on 12/22 the car developed yet ANOTHER safety system error and could not be released, so I left disappointed once again in the loaner. Now my car sits for days between being diagnosed, service holidays and eventual replacement of a VCM unit until 12/31/18 when they finally offered to deliver my vehicle to my work. Vehicle is delivered; all errors are gone, good to go finally? NOPE Guess whats missing? My aftermarket front all-weather floor mats!!! I assumed that they must have been removed for service, sitting on the side someplace, but sure enough after two days of calls, emails with pictures and aggravation their solution is just to pay for my STOLEN mats.I told them straight out the biggest issue is that customer property is going missing with employees being the only ones who have access to cars...Service Manager response, yeah, its weird they would only take the front ones. Unbelievable!!! Could they identify who worked on my car, moved the car, washed the car? Probably not, because their service is so disorganized and scattered Im sure 10+ people were in and out of my car. Try to get the same Service Tech on the phone at Springfield...I dare you! It will be days running in circles between them taking down your number, never returning calls and having to explain your frustrations to a new face who doesnt really care anyways. Stay away from this place!Bottom line, Tesla is the future, but working with the Springfield Service Department is like trying to get life advice at Walmart during Black Friday. I have owned and serviced cars from many brands like Jeep, Scion, Infiniti, Lincoln and most recently Chrysler and have NEVER had such a poor level of service, follow up OR anything stolen from my car... which is truly sad considering the amazing cars and brand Tesla is building.

Love the Tesla Model 3! However, this delivery could have gone much better. No show room experience. Saw our car in the day light for about 30 minutes. No place to park. Totally disorganized. Our person kept walking away. They did not explain the car in detail at all. The molding for the window was off and need to be replaced or something, so we now have to wait to bring the car back or have them come out to fix it. Have not received any notification as of yet. We could have had an even worse experience but didn’t. For spending so much money on a car we definitely did not get a 5 star rating and that is really sad. I will look for another service center and hope the Tesla employees will be more courteous and professional because the ones in Springfield NJ were NOT. This does NOT help Tesla and all that it stands for.

This place is pretty much the best experience I’ve had at a car dealer. Parking is a bit tight and the show room is on the smaller side, but the staff was great about walking us through options and getting us out on the road. This is the first fine I can actually say I had fun at a car dealership. It’s off 22 which is a tough highway to drive in comfortably but there are plenty of back roads to take a spin on. Tesla’s are also very impressive, had no idea an electric car could be so nice. We are still mulling the decision over but I had to leave a review since we had such a great experience with Johann. If you are considering going Tesla this is a great dealership to work with.

I want to share my unsatisfying experience in regard to my tesla service today in Springfield, NJ.I bought a brand new tesla from shorthill mall in NJ less than a year ago. I noticed cracks with no stone idents on both front and back widows few months later. These cracks can form even when a window is not struck. The most common cause of inexplicable cracks in windows is stress. Stress cracks—also referred to as thermal stress cracks—can occur in windows when a thermal gradient causes the glass in car window to expand by different amounts in different parts of the window.I scheduled appointment for service and was prompted via very brief text message by tesla service team to provide pictures of “the problem”. Nobody told me that the decision to cover or not to cover my cracks repair/window replacement will be judged solely based on these pictures. I am neither a professional car estimator nor professional photographer so I took pictures with my smart phone the best I could. Beware, fellow customers. That is where the trick is!When I showed up on the day of my appointment, I was informed that I have a 1-2 mm ident on my front window and according to them, that’s what caused the crack! I was trying to tell them that the ident was secondary to the untreated stress fracture (took me awhile to get an appointment) but an employee called Orlando was very rude and unprofessional. He was yelling at me and even told me he doesn’t care about customer satisfaction and online reviews at all. When I asked to speak with the manager or get a second opinion, Orlando told me he is a manager. I felt like a felon in a court room being accused of a horrible wrongdoing! My crime was: trying not to pay what should be covered 100 percent as a stress crack.Tesla windows are custom made. After reading reviews online and talking to my friend who had the same problem with her new tesla, I realized it is a very common problem in all tesla cars, and I will be back to service with the same problem soon. I am horrified just thinking about it.If I could rate their service as zero that would be true reflection of my todays experience with tesla service at 135 route 22 east, Springfield, NJ 07081.

Great experience. Joel was my tech, friendly and professional with excellent follow up skills. The whole service team from check-in to check-out has a positive, upbeat vibe. You can feel they have a personal interest in Tesla doing well as a company for all the same reasons I bought one... keep it rollin guys!

Had a noise in my Model 3 checked out here and the service was great. I think Justin was the name of the person who helped me. He was extremely knowledgeable and had me out the door the same day in just an hour or so. Would recommend this location if you need your Tesla serviced.

Great experience taking a new vehicle delivery at the Tesla showroom. The delivery staff have done a great job. The process was quick and without undue tensions. Tesla cars are simple and intuitive as well.

Have been happy with the Springfield Service Center. I picked up my car there in November.Today I drove in w/o appointment to see if they could replace 2 plastic rivets (in the trunk felt liner) that I accidentally broke while upgrading my 2 trunk LED lights with extra bright aftermarket ones.They took the car right away and replaced the little plugs for free and threw in a courtesy inspection (adjusted tire pressure, checked treads, added wiper fluid, checked seat belts, checked firmware version). Many thanks for fixing it right away for free.
