If I could give them zero stars, I would. Entire job was stressful and poorly managed. First of all, you have to pay for the entire job up front, and there is a reason for that as once they have their money, they could care less about how well the job is done. After the initial visit for measurement, they came to install the carpet and were short on pad material, so the full install didnt happen. The installer came back, and brought his small child with him. The installer damaged our newly painted walls and left hand and scuff marks through out the home (see photos). When we called to discuss with the office, they seemed somewhat sympathetic but did not offer any solution or compensation. On top of that, he ran out of carpet so had to reschedule the install again to finish the job. About two weeks later, a new crew came to finish the install but did not have the transition pieces. We made arrangements to pick up the transition pieces ourselves, as we live about an hour from Springfield. When we arrived, they did not have the pieces there for us to pick up and claimed a communication issue. A week later, they delivered the transition pieces and we had to install them ourselves. Again, no mention of any compensation, or attempt to make any of this right. Less than a month after install, there are visible seams which show signs of separation, and we have to go around and tuck the carpet in under the trim as it is pulling away from the wall already (see photos). We only had the carpet done this time, and were planning to have the plank floor done next, but there is no way we would work with this store again. Terrible service, installation and overall experience. I would not recommend.

Great customer service and all the sales talk but the work itself is questionable. It took almost 2 months to get things done. Having to pay up front gives no accountability to be reliable. It took so many calls, frustration and disappointment. I would not recommend this company if you dont want to be disppointed!

I had a great experience with Carpet One in Springfield,MO. Kim was so patient with me as I went though my lengthy decision process. I got bids and measurements done by Carpet one and two other carpet companies. Kim was the best salesperson of the three companies as she kept checking back with me and adjusting her bid to meet my needs. I wanted good carpet that was stain resistant and a waterproof pad underneath as I have three very loved pets! I needed 1123 sq ft of carpet and pad so it was a large expense for an older couple to face. But we did it and I am so glad I did because after my recent surgery and hospital stay it was like coming home to a brand new house. What I always remembered about Kim was that she bragged so strongly about her carpet installer Kirk. That seemed important to me!When I found out about a needed surgery in the middle of the decision process Kim was kind and helped me get it all done at just the right time so I could prepare for the carpet installation, and still have time to put the smaller things away before my surgery.The day of the installation was exciting and I couldn’t have been more pleased with Kirk and his two sons. They got here at about 9:30am and were all done by about 4:30 pm. They moved away and replaced all our heavy furniture and Kirk checked three times to make sure job was completed and done correctly! Kirk was more concerned about the proper placement of our furniture than I was!I am so grateful to the Carpet One Team! So thankful for my almost new 12 year old home!Claudia Lower

Its beautiful and of a great quality. I have no doubt that it will hold up quality wise and style wise for many years.

Julie was so wonderful! We stopped in to see her and told her what we wanted then we had to go back to Florida to sell our house. We texted and talked on the phone for weeks. She ordered and arranged for the new carpet to be installed in our house before we got back to Springfield. When we got to our new home I could not believe what a great job they did! My master bedroom carpet is perfect. Thank you Julie for being so good at your job.

Dont waste your time going to the big box stores, head straight to Springfield Carpet One!!! Seriously... You will be greeted by two lovely ladies, Julie and Kim, who really know their stuff! You will receive exceptional and professional customer service in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Julie and Kim will go out of their way to provide the carpet of your dreams for a price you can afford. Bruce came out and measured the very next day and we had our quote that day. We loved him too! This is a tightly run ship with installers that have been with them a very long time. Bottom line-why go anywhere else? They will listen to you and never put a hard sell on you. Carpet One installed vinyl flooring and carpet in our churchs facility. They were the best price of all the bids we obtained, and the quality of the material is great. The service rep., Julie, made the experience and process as easy as possible. She is so friendly. In addition, the installers couldnt have been more professional, respectful, and excellent in their work. Our sanctuary carpet needs to be replaced and we plan to use them again when the time comes.

From the start to the finished product they were fantastic! Julie listened to what I was wanting, heard what I actually needed and made suggestions to better aid the selection process, but I never felt pressured. She was always willing to answer any questions or concerns I had. The installers were mannerly, very orderly/kept clean worksite. Pleased with their great communication when needed regarding times and reiterated Julies info what the install process would be. Very happy!!

Convenient location. Right in front of Wal-Mart Supercenter on Independence across from Coltons Steakhouse. They had a huge selection of samples. Dont let the name fool you. I found great prices on time and hardwood flooring.

I was so nervous about tackling my kids’ playroom. It’s not a large space but I wanted it perfect!.. I had been everywhere (or so I thought!) when I saw Springfield Carpet One!!Both Julie and Dano were knowledgeable and so friendly! Even the store manager, Hank, introduced himself to make me and my children feel welcomed in the store!Julie showed me some carpet tile that I just fell in love with! It is just want I didn’t know I wanted! 😁 they were able to come out that next day to measure. Product was good service not so much. Service stop soon as they had payment. Product didn’t show up when promised. Sent half the order to another state. They won’t return calls. They won’t let you bring unopened boxes back for return. And they even did the measurements. Service is not professional not happy with this place

We searched all over for flooring and carpet one was by far the best Julie was really great to work with she answered all of our questions. We went in not expecting to buy anything and within 10 minutes we left with samples, called the next day and made a purchase. The prices beat everywhere else and they carry a great variety!

Honestly, I dont know why the overall rating on the web is a 4.9. It should be a solid 5 or more!! I have never worked with a stronger team in all my business dealings. We tried to go to a larger store (sorry Lowes, you just got called out) and no one remembered, or even added notes, to carry over into the next conversation I had with an associate to help conclude my estimate or purchase. Totally a God wink when a friend told me to contact Carpet One. From sweet Julie, to the precious man who came (that day) to measure (40 minute drive for him!!!) to the carpet installation itself, I had full confidence that they really cared for MY needs! I wish I could write a hundred reviews, but theres only one space for me. :)Excellent job, team!!!

As I was helping my sister find the perfect flooring for her house, we came across Carpet One and since the first time I spoke with Julie we were 100% satisfied. She was always very patient with us while deciding what to do, very helpful and friendly. We do recommend the store for the excellent customer service and flooring options.

I havent gotten carpet put in from here yet, but the salesperson, Julie, that Ive been working with is spectacular! She took quite a bit of time showing me all of the carpet options in the store (of which they have more than any other store I went to). She is also incredibly friendly and approachable. I brought my two-year-old son with me, and she actually made the experience of carpet shopping with a toddler enjoyable! She has taken her time to call and check on me a couple times during this process to see if she can answer any other questions I may have. I would recommend this store based on their carpet options and customer service.

This is a wonderful place! I was so tired and confused going from store to store. Some had free installation, but then you had to find your own installer-who wants to mess with that? I am highly disappointed with this company. After visiting the store and speaking with Donny he came out to measure our home for carpet. We told him we would be ready to order carpet in about a month. At the time we said we would be ready, I called the store to put a deposit down and was told I needed to come in store to do so. No problem, I understand that and made the trip to the store only to find out they had lost our folder with our measurements and information when the office was reorganized. Okay I get things happen...The Reverend salesman called him and we set up another appointment for Donny to come back out and measure our home for carpet yet again, after making the comment he would love to steal our business from Donny but that would be unethical. On our appointment day our appointment time came and went with a no show from Donny and no one ever called to say he wasnt coming or to apologize. I found this very unprofessional and a complete waste of my time on several occasions. I would not recommend Carpet One as there are other carpet stores in our area that actually value you and your business!
