Never again. I went in for what I believed was testing and a fitting for a new product trial for low visibility hearing aids. I spoke with Dave Dalton and informed him what insurance I had and what hearing issues I had. He assured me, on a recorded line that the testing and trial was at no cost to me.When I arrived today, at a Lagonda Realty office in which AHT is apparently housed, the woman, who had no identification visible asked for my insurance, then told me that they are not in network. I told her I was there for a testing and trial that I was told was at no cost to me. She vehemently disagreed, telling me that I would have to pay out of pocket if I wanted hearing aids. I again reiterated that it was supposed to be a new product trial and that I was told by Dave that it was at no cost to me.The woman got aggressive and slammed a clip board on the counter and said fine fill this out, obviously I refused, because with that level of aggression I am not going to trust her with anything. I emailed Dave Dalton regarding the situation and provided him a copy of the recording in which he states that it is all at no cost to me. I have also filed a report with the Ohio State Attorney General, as this has all the earmarks of a bait and switch meant to prey on those who dont have their cognitive faculties.
Sheila is the nicest person and is very knowledgable about hearing aids.
