As a patient for Dr. John B Gillan and a person who is monthly at the facility, its a Springfield, Ohio building, its great for what is. The service there is great and Gillan is a very serious, yet comedic guy. He shows concern for the well being of his patients when it comes down to nasal health, and even allergies. If you have a concern for nasal problems and they grow worse, go to Dr. Gillan at Ear Nose and Throat Springfield. Hes a very intelligent guy and performs surgery for those need is. I had sinusitis and a deviated septum. After surgery, i can say Ive been breathing a lot better.

Dr. Smith is the first doctor in a decade that agreed to take my tonsils out as they were incredibly uncomfortable. I was always getting infections and terrible sinus pains because dog then... and with one look, he agreed and took my tonsils out. His surgery staff at the surgical center were incredibly professional and hilarious all at the same time. They made me feel comfortable and confident in my first ever surgery I’m 31 years old!) He clearly is the person to go to when you have an ENT issue. Thankful and impressed are why I feel, but those are understatements!!!

The staff was very nice and accommodating. They worked to get me an appointment that met my schedule. At my appointment, they were polite and helpful. I got in and out in a timely manner. Highly recommend

Was referred by pediatrician for5 year old granddaughter very large tonsils, Dr was very rude and impatient with my granddaughter who was very nervous from a recent covid test. Dr was very impatient with her, and me, and told us he has seen bigger and gave Flonase! Barely 2 months later, another sore throat and ear infection..referred to Childrens Medical Center and one look told extremely large as Tonsils as pediatrician has said for three years.....surgery scheduled! I will never go here again....the doc cared less!

Edit (8/28/21): if I could give this place zero stars I would. The tube I had in my ear that was protruding that I was told doesnt look good has now fallen out. TThis place is absolutely worthless at problem mitigation. I could have permanent damage from their lack of action. Go somewhere else.Liked this ENT the first couple times I went but its under new management now. They will nickel and dime your insurance ($375 to remove a single loose hair from my ear canal) and seeing an actual ENT is apparently a feat for them to manage (no offense to the NP I saw twice, she was nice, but if Im getting charged to see a specialist I want to see a specialist). Had pressure in my ear that after two trips walked away with nothing but a couple hundred bucks of bills and a shrug with maybe Flonase will help. Do yourself a favor and find a better business, even if its a trip to get there.

Very uncooperative staff and not understanding of certain situations my wife was unable to make it to an appointment due to a family emergency and when they were told this insisted that it didn’t matter that they can no longer see her at that office

Dr. Smith actually takes the time to listen and understand what issues youre bringing to him. Staff is extremely friendly along with doctors. Usually once you arrive youll be taken back, seen, and leave with 45 minutes to an hour. Only gripe is sometimes appointments are a couple weeks out, but hey, thats understandable given their specialty.

Ive been having issues with my 8 month olds ears for the past few weeks. After an ER visit and an urgent care visit and a round of antibiotics, he was still having ear pains. Called this place and as a new patient, they got me in the NEXT day. Reception was pleasant and quick. Appointment was right on schedule. Saw the nurse practitioner we were scheduled with. She took the time to engage with my son a little bit before she started digging in his ears and it made things seem a lot more familiar. Hes doing much better now. Not 100%, but she gave me routine instructions to do with him to help get him the rest of the way.

Well when we was there they were so far behind we didnt even get to be seen and we waited for close to an HR and half!! I think they dont need to make so meny appointments at the same time imo

Cannot rate the Doctors because I was refused an appointment by the office manager for the following reason. When trying to make an appointment I was upset due to almost 3 weeks to be seen I was therefore considered rude and was told they did not have to treat rude people. I assume they feel they can refuse treatment to whomever they choose since the have a monopoly on this specialty in the Springfield Ohio area

Felt like the doctors feel like youre not entitled to a second opinion even when youre not stupid, and everything they are saying is going against everything going on with your body. You always follow your gut and my gut says they dont know what they are talking about. They arent compassionate AT ALL your just another pay check for them and they could care less what actually happening with you or to your family because of whats happening to you... just go to another doctor to start and dont waste your time here.

Dr.smith did my septoplasty surgery and he is amazing! He kept my informed on everything! I recommend this place to anyone!

They will not help you with anything they will leave at a rock and hard place they are not helpful at all .and they are rude when u call to try and talk to someone they get rude and hang up on you ...i been a patient with them for 20 yrs and when my dr retired they refferred me to another dr thats in the same office they dnt know there bottom frm the whole in the ground

Love the doctors but the nurses and other support staff could sometimes be nicer.

Dr.Duvall and nurse Tiffany are great. Super nice and knowledgeable. Everyone there is very nice, for that matter. I highly recommend Dr.Duvall. He knows what hes doing. I bring my 8 year old son there and Im grateful my son can see such a knowledgeable ENT Dr. locally! :) Amanda Nall

The staff in the allergy department are so friendly and make sure to cater to requests or needs when giving injections. The injections seem to be helping so far.
