My hearing has been a problem all my adult life, and I tried hearing aids a decade ago and was not impressed. But now, in my eighties, I depend more and more on caring conversations, so I decided to go get a free hearing test at Springfield Hearing Aid. I knew that the technology has changed a lot recently, and it seemed to me to be worth the cost. I found my reception there was cordial, informative, genial, and trust-inspiring. The analysis of my hearing spectrum was much like what it was ten years ago. After discussion about the features of various models, I decided to spend what it took. Fitting is next week, and Im looking forward to it. I really appreciated the detailed straight talk rather than a sales pitch.
I have been wondering about my hearing for a couple of years, and when I received a letter offering an exam and a consultation, I knew the time had come to find out just what was going on. I was very impressed with the entire appointment with owner, Jim. I could easily see from my test results that getting hearing aids would be in order. I really, really liked the hearing aid that was suggested and will definitely follow up.
Yes, I am a returning customer. The hearing aids I purchased here finally began to show their age so I decided it was time to replace them with something newer. My goodness, there have been huge leaps in technology. These folks were wonderful helping me make sure I had exactly what I needed. Very personalized service. Isnt it wonderful to have the Springfield Hearing Aid Center actually in our community and not miles away?

Whatever you do, DO NOT GIVE THIS COMPANY YOUR PHONE NUMBER. I went for a hearing test and to see about getting a hearing aid 6 months ago. Since then, I have been bombarded with daily unsolicited phone calls, calling on their behalf. I have told them to stop calling 20 or 30 times, I have blocked their phone numbers, so they just change the number they call from. Whatever telemarketing company they are using is a scam outfit.UPDATE: They are still at it, now its unwanted text messages (see photo below)
I go with my husband who has a hearing aid. People always pleasant. Not too long a wait.

After dealing with a few of the upper valley hearing aids providers I went to Springfield hearing aids and I am so glad I went. Jim and his staff are total pro’s and know what they are talking about. My last hearing aids that I purchased before Springfield were sent back 6 times or more with various problems. I know Jim will take care of me, these hearing aids work much better and I will send everyone one I know to Springfield Hearing Aid Center.
