Perfect name for a perfect wine store. Modern building outside, clean wood walls and shelves library vibe inside...but MORE importantly, better peices than TOTAL WINE! I now go to WINE LIBRARY for my 10 year tawny ports. Staff is friendly and helpful.

Organized like a very beautiful library filled with wines from across the world, this is definitely a place where you can get almost everything you want, and they can order what you cant find immediately in the store. They also have a fair number of snacks that you can nibble on with your wine.

The wine library has a lot of higher end wines. This is a great place to buy a gift for someone that enjoys wine. They do have some reasonable priced wines but I thought they were more expensive than other wine stores. I didn’t experience this, but I heard they have awesome classes to take to learn more about wine and other categories.

This is probably the coolest office building that is a liquor store in all of Central North Jersey.

The excellent selection of wine at good prices is offset by very slow order fulfillment and shipping. I have been hitting them with a lot of orders over a short period of time. About 25 orders in a month. Some for a few bottles, some for a case of wine. Average delivery time is about a week from NJ to CT. This isnt a problem with the carrier. Once the shipment is in the hands of FedEx it is typically delivered the next day. The delays are all due to how long it takes for Wine Library to process, charge, pack, and get your order out the door. A week is approximately how long it takes to order wine from California and have it delivered to CT. So there is really no advantage to ordering from Wine Library despite them being right next door in NJ. The store is about a 3 hour drive from my house. A little too far away for me to go there in person and buy wine in the store.At the moment I have orders stacking up. One that has been charged and marked shipped but no tracking number has been provided, three other orders charged but not shipped, two more that havent been processed at all. So I am going to stop placing orders until Wine Library can deliver the more than $1,500 in wine orders I have still outstanding.Going forward I will most likely shift most of my wine buying to Yankee Spirits in Sturbridge, MA. Its a huge store with a large selection and they are only 45 minutes away. I was there today and spent almost $800 on wine and Champagne.Anything that I want and cant get at Yankee Spirits I will order from Wine Library and accept the slow shipping. But this is not something I can tolerate on a regular, on-going basis. I just dont have the patience for it.

Spent almost 1k on high end wine for my clients. It showed up covered in dust and dirt, tacky stickers on the front endorsing some random person as though they selected it for me!! and the worst was the wine dripping down the labels and the bottles of 2 out of 6.Could not give out to clients and spoke to Brian at the store who says he wont resend new bottle until he gets these back!! So I wont have them in time to give to clients. Looks unprofessional and disorganized on my end. He claims his distributor filled the order but that he would personally pull the next 6 bottles. I will amend this re review once I get the second batch.

Placed an order of 6 sangrias last Friday and it arrived today (5 days later). After reading some reviews I was afraid to place my first order with Wine Library but Im sold. The bottles were each carefully protected with styrofoam. This sangria is very difficult to find and a bday gift for a friend. Im very happy with the delivery. Thanks Brandon for replying my email so promptly. If I was going to make some suggestions it would be: 1) Allow for online tracking 2) Send a confirmation email/receipt with tracking link 3) See how you can reduce shipping costs. Thanks.

Great selection of wine downstairs and spirits upstairs. Good for things like whiskey as well as port. Always great specials on wines from across the globe. Great cheese/pantry section too.

I’m confused at what’s going on with this establishment.My brother in law gets all their promotions and we buy wine accordingly, we’ve been doing it for years. We normally get it shipped, but recently they have taken longer than usual so to ship out,I was in the area and stopped by to snag some bottles.I saw a wine I have ordered in the past and is listed online at one price, I paid a promotional price, their club card price is lower than what I paid and then I was told it was even lower through wine text. I understand doing a sale, but what is going on? I guess the deals we’ve been getting over the years aren’t as good as we thought...There are random stacks of wine all over the place and the upstairs is a mess.Can’t deny the prices and the selection though. I walked around with one of the wine guys, Chris, he said he was newer to the company. Great information and all around good experience. One of my favorite parts of going to Wine Library when in the area is getting a bunch of wine that isn’t sent through the promotions. Stocked up on some fun Fall and Winter Reds and Whites.

Large place, Great selection, met Sasha the founder/owner impressive that hes still at WineLibrary every day. Also met Gary Vaynerchuk aka GaryVee aka VaynerMedia he marketed this wine store from $4mm to 60mm via online, social..etc will sure come again and shop for some vintages.

Best of the best for wine, spirits and cheeses

I used to go here years ago with my family and the place is really cool it has 2 floors so we would go up an elevator it was so cool they have wines beers and liquor but my favorite part is the cheese they had such a wide variety of cheeses this place reminds me of Wisconsin

Ordered via Wine txt their service where they txt you deals on several bottles of wine. Everything was great for the first few orders, after a while its easy to lose track of what you ordered so i reconciled and noticed 6 bottles of white never arrived. spoke with someone at their customer service line and they were able to help with getting the wine sent back them and then re shipped out again. Sure we waited longer than expected but overall the customer service experience was great. Thank you.

This company does not take proper precautions when it comes to covid. Ive overheard several conversations of their employees talking of workers of having covid and still working among customers. Their not using the correct lysol to clean their store which is overly dusty by the way. You dont care about your employees you have them working with mold in the store but thats okay as long as the owner gets paid. Not to mention as a bonus they have an abundance of expired food products in their gourmet section.

Bad online purchasing experience. They charge my card and no communication for two weeks. There are dozens of better options to purchase wine online who communicate and will ship in 1-2 days.Not sure what kind of operation this is, I know they have been around for a long time and maybe its a nice retail store, but they are clearly not a professionally run online merchant.

What Gary Vee helped his father build. Great selection of wines (and other fine spirits, gourmet food, and beer). Great bargains via WineText.com and orders can be delivered curbside or picked up inside. You can also browse the aisle if you prefer that.

I’ve been shopping here for a decade, and have always had a great experience. The staff is knowledgeable, the selection is fantastic, and the prices are great. The top ten picks near the entrance are a foolproof way to get a great bottle of wine if you are short on time. The cheese selection is probably the best in the area. I can count on one hand the number of times I’ve gotten a bad bottle of wine, and the staff has always been very accommodating to make it right.

Plenty of selections and plenty to learn about customer service. Horrible! I found what I was looking for but they didnt deserve my money for their bad costumer service they gave me.

I usually go to Garys in Madison, and I love their selection of cheeses over there, but sometimes I find it difficult to find a solid person who isnt just trying to throw a bottle at me so they can move-on. First, I was really surprised to see that Wine Library carries so many cheeses!! I guess I am too used to going to Bottle King, which has jack for gourmet treats hence why I end up at Garys. But my sister recommended I try Wine Library. This store and the selections are great. Picked up a bottle of Weinguit Kees-Kieren for my boyfriend and I to share for his birthday. I am really clueless about wines (I dont even drink except on special occasions) so I looked for a staff member to give me some advice. I met Jason (may be a different name?) and even though he looks super young, well, holy smokes looks are deceiving-- the young man is beyond knowledgeable and passionate. The cashier was also on the younger side but really respectful and pleasant. Will return again!

Staff was very attentive and patient. Memento Mori 2014 was a great choice which was recommended by their staff. This is the only local place I go to for wine choices from all over the world.

We not only buy wine here--they have an excellent assortment of cheeses and we bought some delicious jams there today.

Awful customer service. Sold me a bottle of Pinot that they claimed they sent out to me twice and I never received. After continuously trying to chase them down and the bottle, a manager, Brian, tells me that that bottle was sold out to begin with. So I was sold a bottle that didn’t exist. Girls that answer the phones are rude and condescending in tone. After asking for a refund from being tired and annoying at having to constantly track them down for this wine Brian was just as unfriendly as said “I’ll send you a confirmation” and just hung up on me. Will never be using them again.

Unfortunately for first time in many years I actually opened two moderately priced bottles of wine that just were not drinkable (no fault of wind academy). When I called and asked about my 4 orders, he said it would likely take another week, on the top of the 2 weeks that I havebeen waiting.Because of Covid 19, very few people were working. He said he would handle my orders, and I should receive it 2 days. I want to commend Jason for his kindness, and for all the help he gave me.

The Worst! Ordered a case and a half for curb side pickup 18 days ago. All wine was in stock. Received confirmation. Followed up 3 days later, 2 bottles were now unavailable? I really did not care. Ten days later followed up again to which I received another generic email stating delays with coronavirus. Still no email telling me to pick up my wine that was in stock 18 days ago. No follow up from WL. I have been purchasing most of my Liquor with them for 20+ years. Not anymore. It’s very disappointing.

Good prices, excellent website, decent selection but Ive had two strange / bad experiences now that have turned me off, and their wine selection isnt what it used to be. Last year I encountered a pretty rude staff member. I blew it off because everyone has a bad day. This year I placed an on-line order to pick up, and when I called the next day to see when I could pick it up, they told me they were one bottle short. I said, ok, can I pick everything up except for that bottle - and the answer seemed to be no? That the order pull would still be delayed a week or so? There was an explanation about it being an active store front - which since Im picking up, Im clearly aware of the active store front - that didnt really make any sense. Honestly, I want to give them the benefit of the doubt because it is such a busy time of year but I couldnt help but feel that they were trying to get me to cancel the order. Also, were they planning on communicating this with me if I didnt call? Any way, I cancelled, and I cant imagine going back anytime soon with so many other wine stores around these days.

Terrible customer service.

Wine Library could pay attention to details. We sent out about 10 bottles of wine in a period of 3-4 days, and they missed placing gift notes on most of them ! And I was standing in the store personally dictating each note. God only knows what they did with it. Not sure if it was a system glitch, but surely it wasn;t the most pleasant experience.

In general Wine Library has been slipping in recent years with spotty inventory issues. After a recent experience Im considering moving on. I placed a pickup order and, not receiving an email after a week, contacted the store. I was told the order didnt process and would have to be placed again. They had the order but it went into some sort of suspended state. Well OK, these things shouldnt happen but not a big deal. Unfortunately this issue wasnt handled at all well. I was told it would be another 5 days (go to the back of the line!). The correct response should have been very sorry, well pull your order immediately. Difficult times but this is really unacceptable. 5 days wait is ridiculous to begin with. Garys DELIVERS in 2 days. Back to basics guys.

The wine selection is outrageous. All of the best bottles available. Great staff. The gourmet department used to be WAY better which is disappointing, but two floors of wine can make up for that.

This place is awesome. We went there looking for two specific bottles of wine, they had both. One had to be pulled from stock and it took less than 5 minutes for them to get it to the floor. Lots of friendly staff ready to help.

Promises kept being made on dates when the order would be filled and not kept. They didnt even ship what they did have in stock- thats ridiculous. Really liked Gary V as a speaker, communicator but will not be ordering any more wine from his company. They need to pick it up a level.

Great prices! Check out the gourmet area for cheese and interesting pairings for cheese. I love coming here for and indulgent cheese and cracker night. I almost always get the lowest prices for Tito’s vodka here as well.

I the manger, an elderly person who wears a blue/red shirt, of the store tends to be indifferent,especially people of color, when asking a question about wines and always show the higher price wines instead of the moderately price ones. One has to push him to get information on wines.Hence, if you meet the stores/his customers profile you get better service!Go to another store where profiling is not used.

They also have great information like ratings from various sources and the ability to print out label-like info about the wine with a picture of the wine label and any ratings it might have. Add those to your wine collection so your choice of wine always pairs perfectly.The site is very user friendly and fun to search. The customer service is top notch. They really want your wine purchase to be a great experience.Ive read some reviews regarding shipping. Normally youll know immediately if the wine is in stock but if a bottle isnt in stock theyll either wait till your order is complete before shipping, or if you want it shipped without a bottle not in stock just let them know and theyll get it right out to you. That said, the wines come in quickly if not in stock and, unless youre in a big hurry, It makes sense to wait because, if youre like me, you only want to pay for shipping bottles once. Bottles are heavy and require special handling. I paid $20 for seven bottles, which is very reasonable for 7 bottles of wine.They have very responsive customer service. I never waited more than a couple of hours for a response and when I wanted an incomplete order shipped, Brandon called me within minutes to let me know what was going on. Thats going above and beyond and I really appreciated everyones concern with my order.I HIGHLY recommend Wine Library!

The Wine Library always has the best selection of wines from across the globe at every price point. Best of all, the sales staff does a great job helping you find the best wines. The key to working with the staff is to always be upfront. Be honest about your budget and tastes. They usually help me find a great wine at a reasonable price.

Its an awesome place to stock up on the holidays. Lots of wine options and of course your liquor choices (if not all) most are available at a very reasonable price. They have a section for cheese, fish, and some unique ice creams. Good place to stock up on alcohol.

He is ultra passionate, incredibly knowledgeable and not only hilarious, but also super down to earth. He is your friendly neighbor you would want to have a perfect drink with and understands what would pair with any meal, whether it’s a rare fish, wings, a steak or even a burger. Great selection and helpful staff. Although not every staff member knows every spirit, odds are good they will find someone who does. I told them I wanted a smokey Scotch, and they helped me find my new favorite. They also have a small but good selection of cheeses.

I am not an oenophile, but for an amateur like myself, I find Wine Library quite a good place to shop for wines. For starters, as you walk in the store, you go through a great cheese section where you can try assorted cheeses. Then, the rest of the store is alcohol, mostly wines, but also some beers and liquors. The best part of wine library is the great service and large selection. Since I dont know what I am doing with wines, they are very helpful.

A huge selection of wines, beers, cider, and liquors and good prices. They have some special offers you can get through Facebook, and they run some sales and specials sometimes. They also have some higher end meats and cheeses available. The store itself is pretty clean and the shelves are neat and pretty well organized, and sale prices are clearly marked. Staff is very friendly and helpful.

Great service and awesome selections of wines

My friends invited me here and they told me about the Wine Library! The food, the wine tasting and more! I brought my daughter with me and she enjoyed the luscious cheeses including the Truffle Manchego Cheese which is crazy good! I challenge you guys to check it out. These guys are on their A game and very professional. I love this store because it has a variety of wine that can pair with fruit and nuts. They also recommend the best wines that can go with beef, chicken, pork and seafood. Check them out and youll be glad that you did! 😄

Come here for the wine, leave with a full stocked bar, cheese and mushroom salad to share with guests at your next shindig. Trying to find a dry Riesling? This is the place. Come in and ask the staff for what youd like to find and theyll point out a few selections for your consideration.

Love this place. Great selection of wine and very helpful staff. Also a nice small grocery that sells very nice cheeses, dried meats, olive oils, pastas, breads and a few other things. All in very good quality.

Aside from a huge selection of well priced wine with many manager specials, the gourmet section with cheese and meat offered as tastings every weekend with over a dozen selections, they also have special food truck events, and purveyor events.
