Bought 4 truck tires. Took a while, but they did a good job. Used a torque wrench and everything. Not bad.
I bought tires online through WALMART and when I was notified they were in the guy said it would take 4 hours to put on 4 new tires... seriously?? I asked him if they were that under staffed and he replied No... it just takes that long ..... I found a place to have my new tires put on and it took 1 hour and 17 minutes...
I came by early to see if I could get my front-right lights changed only to have two guys silently shamble along to change the tires of a single vehicle. With how they did not inquire as to why I had come by and assist with getting things set up in their store system, one could only think that these two workers not only wanted to ignore me but solely focus on the one and only vehicle in the entire garage.I felt very unwelcome, and when I attempted to speak with one they simply retreated into the back-area of the employee section of the store. They saw me call out to them, but I suppose those tires had a expiration date and needed to be changed at that very instant.I then tried to speak with an associate at the TLE area desk, but it seemed that I needed to speak with one of the two outside-both of which didnt seem interested in speaking at all.A different customer, a rather cheerful man, inquired tried speaking to them as well only to be ignored. Now being in a bad mood is one thing, but these men certainly seemed old enough to know how to act appropriately in a public area.So after half an hour, I left. Im certain that Oasis will have much better service.
Only SYNTHETIC oil changes now.
Cheapest oil in town. I dont use the service center.
Cheapest place to order my tires that nobody carries, but they wont put them on
I showed up for an oil change. Just an oil change and nothing else. I was initially told it would be around 40 minutes. There was one other vehicle in the service bays at this time. I decided to be diligent and pick up some groceries while I was there. I returned after about 45 minutes to pick up my vehicle and check out with my groceries. The auto department wasn’t equipped to check out my produce. Not a huge problem but an inconvenience. After 2hrs of waiting for my vehicle I was finally able to leave. Once again there was only one other car in the service bay and I only needed a simple oil change. I’m sorry but that is way too long. I will never return here to have my vehicle serviced and I will probably exclusively shop at HEB. If it is going to take longer than originally please let the customer know. Do not keep them in the dark or lie to them.
Very friendly, but very slow..
Marcus & Uli at the auto care center helped me out when they really didn’t have to - i pulled up needing an oil change but they were closing up for the day. Still, they helped me out and got it done. Thanks guys !
I needed to replace 2 tires. When I arrived, there was only one oil change ahead of me, and 7 guys on the floor. I was excited, I figured Id be in and out so I went and did some speed shopping. When I returned 20 minutes later to the auto center, I watched from the window to the garage, the slowest set of workers Ive ever seen. I watched four guys stand around looking at one working taking a tire off, no help given, no assistance offered. After 1 hour, the first of my 2 tires was replaced. Then they began the 2nd tire. Same process. Now, I frequent the Walmart, every Sunday, sometimes going through the garden center, sometimes the garage. I know all the faces. Not one was new, so these guys were just milking their hourly pay and wasting my day.I will not be going back here for auto care unless some changes are made, like moving with sense of urgency.
I took my car in to have he oil changed right after getting off work at about 2:30. I specifically asked how quickly the service would be completed and they assured me that there was only one car ahead of me and that it wouldnt take long. I handed them my key and went off to do some shopping. An hour later I hadnt heard anything from them so I went back to check the progress. My car was still sitting in the exact same spot, hadnt even been touched with the front door halfway open. I told them to go ahead and cancel my service because I had to leave in 30 minutes to get my child. I asked them for my keys and somehow they couldnt seem to locate them anywhere. The guy I spoke with the second time searched for nearly 30 minutes before finding them. By the time I was able to get away from the Auto Care department it was 4:05. I spent over an hour and a half thete, waiting, and didnt even get what I came for. Very poor customer service, Ill be taking my car elsewhere today.
To shed light on walmarts automotive services first of all yes they are under staffed as they have a high employee turnover rate. People are wanting lighting speed service but do not realize they are also way under payed for the volume of vehicles they handle and services provided. A cashier makes just as much as an automotive tech at walmart yeah crazy right. Thirdly your not going to beat the prices walmart provides. The basic oil change is about what you can get everywhere but the high mileage and synthetic oil changes are 35%-50% what you would pay anywhere else, especially dealership. Buying tires at walmart you saving 100s of dollars from price markups at dealerships who are commission based pay. So plan ahead just drop your vehicle off and check in periodically. They are doing the best they can with who they have and the pay the receive. The service is good and gets done and also if anything goes wrong guess what your covered by walmarts insurance policy. Its a win win for anybody.
I ordered a set of tires online and had them shipped to the store, thinking it would be convenient to just have them mount them.... it took 4 hours to have a set of tires mounted, and I was second in line. Understaffed, and slow workers. I will definitely not be using them to mount tires again.
I had a leak with my oil filter and I took the chance to drive all the way to Walmart to have my filter change. I was losing a lot of oil driving there. They say they couldn’t do it, and didn’t help me at all. The Dude in the counter was cool and tried but got denied by his supervisor (you’re cool in my book Dude). I tried to change the filter myself and they didn’t carry the filter I needed. They had other brands that were overpriced. I had another company deliver a filter and some oil to my location. It’s pretty pitiful how much they care about customer service. I got my oil and filter from Oreillys, so props to them.
I asked for a simple oil change and was told it would be $54. Almost 2 hours later I was paying almost $80 for an oil change. They gave me synthetic oil, which I never get because its expensive. When I was obviously upset the manager didnt even care just walked away. DO NOT RECOMMEND.
Very professional and very friendly people ill always go back great service
I called ahead and verified they had the tire I needed and then got there and they didnt have it.
Everytime I have came here they have broken or forgot something. Oil drain plug loose, lug nuts loose, tires not plugged right, hoods not latched all the way, destroyed a close friends door interior with grease, 5 hours to mount a tire, asked for a FULL service and didnt check any other fluids or anything. If you have the smallest amount of love for your car do not risk it, plz go somewhere else. The life of your vehicle and the life of your family depend on it.
The walmart service desk had very helpful customer assistance.
I love walmart an the employees
Service was good. Good country Wal-Mart.
Was forced to come here due to a tire blowing out on the interstate. Called to make sure they had the tire and the first said they didnt have it. I called back and talked to someone else and said they did have it. Once the tow truck dropped the truck off i gave them my info and was walking around walmart to kill time expecting to only take maybe an hour to mount 2 tires, there was no one else in the shop. Two hours later i walk down to check on it and they had just started to mount the tires and said it wouldnt be too much longer. An hour after that they were finally finished. They took some things out of the back i think they were looking for the tool to drop the spare but they didnt put the stuff back, i had to and when i walked around the truck there was grease marks all over my white Toyota... was very frustrated with the service and technicians would not recomend unless its an emergency and nothing esle is open
Called Wal-Mart Stephenville on our way back in from being on the road gave them the year make model and told them it takes 12 quarts...they said the price would be 49.99 for synthetic. We had a deal for 70 @ a dodge dealer in Eastland, but we binder passed it cuz Wal-Mart said they were cheaper yet. We get there and they tell us well 49.99 is for.first 5 quarts after that you have to pay extra for each quart as well as they dont stock our filter..so they would have to pull it off the shelf and charge extra for that??? Waste of our time and not even an apology for their ignorance.
I had always gone here to get my oil changed when im away at school, now that im back in my home town i went to get my oil changed somewhere else and they brought me out to should me that they did take anything apart to drain the oil! just did it right in the bottom of my car.... DONT GO TO ANY WALMART TO GET OIL CHANGED
Went in for an oil change and a passenger windshield wiper. 2 hrs later I got oil change but no wiper and cashier just simply said they didnt get to it lol
They basically said that my car would only run on synthetic oil which I never get because Im a broke college student and then I sat for 2.5 almost 3 hours waiting for the expensive oil change on a Monday morning. There were only two cars ahead of me and one was almost done. This is the longest oil change ever.
Please give some training to your employees about how to talk to people. Especially the customers who could appreciate some mutual respect.
Love it good friendly folks
Waited 20 minutes to get someone to assist me. Finally just left
Terrible service. Every time I’ve gotten an oil change I wait forever and they never call me when it is finished. They left oil stains all over my passenger seat as well. Will not be coming back.
Great staff and customer service
Horrible i waited for 3 hours to get my tires changed and they havent even pull my truck in yet
Horrible Experience Dont go there??😡😡😡😤
Slowest, laziest tire techs of all time.
Took over 4 hrs to get a tire rotation.
Slow slow so slow
Very good service
