My husband designed a ring through Kay; that process went really well, the ring turned out beautifully. Since then, my experience has not been a good one. Every time I go in to have it cleaned/inspected, they tell me I need to send it off for repairs or to tighten the prongs. How can a ring need to be repaired every 6 months??? My ring has all 3 gold colors on it (white, rose, yellow)I recently had it sent off to tighten the prongs and when I got my ring back, the bands that were yellow gold originally had been rhodium plated and are now silver. Took my ring back in to have that fixed, and of course it has to be sent off for 2 weeks....I asked them to send my ring to a closer store once it is finished. I get an email saying my ring is ready and it is not at the store I asked them to send it to. When i called, all the girl could say was Ill talk to my manager. Ridiculous! I have not been impressed with Kay at all. I would suggest going to a locally owned jewelry store and not a chain. Especially Kay.

I believe Kay is just about the best jewelry store at which I have shopped. They have an excellent selection, of great quality, and their prices are very competitive. One thing super important to me, at which Kay excels is that the staff is very friendly and willing to listen. They are not too formal, but are very helpful. I also appreciate that they are not high pressure minded when it comes to selling. Overall? Every Kiss begins with Kay.

It was great. I couldnt find exactly what I was looking for in the store, but then they showed me you other options and I found exactly what I was needing. Thank you to the girl that helped me. My mom will love the birthday gift.

Had my ring resized here. The new worker wasnt being supervised when she checked me out so they messed up my order. Hundred dollars and two weeks later my ring was sent back and is the same size. She sent it to the wrong place where it sat for a week for no reason. My advice is go somewhere else or ask the supervisor to double check your order if you want it right. The lady who helped me after the fact was very nice, helpful and apologized. Just wish she had helped me in the first place, my order would have been right!

I bought a $120 necklace for my girlfriend for Christmas and it fell apart after only a month or so of her wearing it. Now Kay Jewelers wants to charge me $30 to fix the necklace when it was obviously a defect. You think that a Jewelery store such as Kay would stand behind their product.

Dont go to Kays they do not cover any of the perchases I currently lost my ring which they told me when I bought it that they would cover theft lost or broke. THAT WAS A BIG LIE. I would go somewhere else because if that doesnt get you the interest will. This place is just full of lies, deceat and headache.
