Seems everytime I turn around there is something wrong with my car. The staff at Hometown knowledgable, honest and cost is reasonable. Im new to the area and wouldnt bring it anywhere else to get serviced!

The service was great and fast and well priced! It was very refreshing to have honest mechanics. I went to a chain oil place almost 2 years ago and they told me I needed to change my brakes asap (and overcharged me for an oil change) but Hometown Automotive actually provided measurements of my pads and said I had more time til they needed to be changed. I would definitely recommend this place for good, quality service. And as an added bonus, Sal has a good sense of humor

Great service, and took my vehicle in right away. Very easy staff to work with.

Went here twice recently and no employees were wearing masks... not even the owner. What was funny is there was mask hanging from the wall, and it was definitely never used. Very disappointed, will find another garage. I gave two stars, because the service was ok. But an oil change took 40 minutes, will probably pay the extra money and go to Valvoline next time.

My car’s battery charging indicator kept turning on and off, and I couldn’t figure it out on my own so contacted Hometown based on a recommendation from a friend. They quickly diagnosed the problem and were courteous, reasonable, and prompt with the service. I will definitely use them again in the future if/when other issues arise with my car.

Best mechanic experience Ive had. We have two cars serviced here and they are not only fair and reasonably priced, they are also very knowledgeable and honest. Ive never been up-sold or recommended a repair that wasnt needed and from major repairs to basic maintenance have had a great experience.

These guys do a great job. I think it comes down to two points for me. They charge a fair price for the work from my experience. Second, they will send you to the dealer if the job is more than their capabilities. As with any car repair, do your homework and use YouTube and Google to see whats involved in your repair. Youll see that Mark, Sal and the crew are good at what they do.

Fabulously efficient, helpful, and gracious. They quote a number and mean it, and charge fair prices. I went to some other guys, they quoted me $3,000. Hometown corrected my misapprehensions, and is doing the work for less than $1,200. Highly recommended.

Went on these recommendations alone and I have to say....theyre just as good as everyone is saying! They fixed a windshield wiper issue (after my last guy botched it) for a very reasonable price.

Drove two hours round trip to see a car he had for sale. Told him the night before that I was coming to look at it in the morning. He said Okay At 730pm. I arrived at 10am. When I get there he tells me the car was sold last night. So be it business is business. However, he lied to my face and claimed 4 separate times that he messaged me. He absolutely did not. Thanks for wasting my time.

5 Stars. If it was possible to rate this shop higher, I would. I have had the pleasure of servicing my 2003 Toyota Tacoma at Hometown Auto for about four years now. My experiences at Hometown have been nothing less than the best. Sal, Mark, Dave, and Jay have always been extremely helpful, friendly and honest. I feel grateful to be a customer of theirs. If you live in the metro-boston area, don’t hesitate – bring it to Hometown.

All around best place to buy tires! Very polite and accomodating. You tell them what you are looking for and they sell you just that without trying to sell you something more expensive. Very comfortable waiting area as well!👍👍

Great value and friendly service

I choose this mechanic was the reviews, but I was wrong. Reason being:I called and made appointment(that was easy). Dropped car off as soon as they opened. All day,not 1 call, I had to call (they said haven’t looked at it yet but 1st thing tomorrow). 2nd day haven’t heared from them so I called an hour before they closed, (same as the day before, haven’t had the chance to look at it)3rd day, I called mid morning to see what’s going on with the car, same thing we are about to take it in, they said when we find the problem we’ll call you. All day nothing. Next day I called them and this time I was tired of this game. They said we just found the problem and the cost is around 600, and I agreed to it and I ask if there was no other problems that they noticed, they said nope. Picked it up that night.Went for a road trip and 100 miles away from home I broke down. I wasn’t going back to these people again so I brought it to another mechanic, he found everything I had done there was loose and not done correctly. He had to go threw everything and correct it. As I sat there he showed me what was wrong and it was the installation of the parts. 250 dollars later for time not material. (And a tow home) $$$.I think a 12 year old could of done better and at least he/she would of return phone calls.
