My flight got canceled this morning and I had to make plans to drive to Michigan instead of flying. Charles and Nickie were so wonderful and kind to stay later to assist me even though it was after 5:30. I cannot thank them enough for providing the information I needed and I am very grateful for their help. They are awesome!

Customer service here for travel information is tops! The agent was very congenial, helpful, and thorough while helping us with suggestions of places to visit on our upcoming RV trip across the country! They also have some great luggage, backpacks, and other travel accessories available. We always leave with everything we need! Just one reason weve been AAA members for almost 50 years now!

AAA has been absolutely fantastic. 10/10 for me.All my tows arrived within 15 to 30 minutes and the drivers allowed me to ride along to the drop off point.Everyone who helped with a tow made sure to text me when they were nearing and very very patient in reaching me as all of the service calls I placed were on random streets or lots with no easy pick up point (address).You get 4 service call per year including anything from a jump, to or tow, and other emergency needs.I had an issue with one driver whom refused to come out in the rain at night midsummer.I was given a max wait time of up to 3 hours.Three hours passed and hw had still not arrived.I reached back out to AAA and explained he hadnt shown up, texted or called or anything.I was given another 1 hour estimate where I requested his direct number as has been the case with all drivers.When he was nearing he made a fake excuse about a massive car crash except its only 35mph throughout anywhere in this part of Suffolk which I explained to him.He eventually showed up and was very angry and aggressive however I was towed without further incident.The reason I mentioned this is not because of him but because of AAA themselves.Apparently a manager or owner with AAA became aware of the situation and sent me a personal email apologizing on behalf of the situation and offered a free replacement service call as an apology.When I called in recently to use the final tow I was even more delighted to find he had given me 2 extra service requests!Due to the very quick and hospitable service and the AMAZING support of Upper Management I give AAA a full 10 out of 10 a full 5 star rating.I would gladly and easily recommend them to absolutely anyone!Thank you AAA I really appreciated the good business dealing with a lot of unexpected car troubles.I will bw renewing next year.

Shawn Murphy was awesome. He helped me move my car from a hospital entrance in Suffolk, Va. I was there with a friend receiving cancer treatments. He was kind, patient and highly professional. Thank you AAA for employing such a fine man

They were helpful as always. We were driving on our vacation, so we needed to get information about available dine in restaurants, as well as available hotels.

Super team.

Walk in for a safety inspection. Had two headlamps replaced, at a very reasonable price, and was out in about an hour. No more AAA member free inspections but we only pay half price. Keep up the great work.

We are members with AAA. We travel with them on the Motor Coach trips, sometimes that AAA sponsor. The trips are good and reasonably priced. They sponsor different trips each year...

I have been to this location several times and have always gotten first class workmanship and excellent customer service. It deserves 5 stars...

Just when we thought there were no honest mechanics in the Tidewater area, we discover these guys. Weve been to so many mechanics in Portsmouth and Chesapeake. Every time, theres something that we discover was a rip-off. Even Dodds tried to charge me several hours labor more than they actually did, and when I showed him the timestamps of this is what your car needs call and your car is ready for pickup call on my cell phone (back when cellphones were just coming out), he changed his story and tagged the difference on some cockomany BS. I told him hed never see my car again. So the closest mechanic we could trust was four hours away, until we were put on the spot and had to find someone close. AAA has never ripped us off. They only do work thats necessary, and dont overcharge. I actually hesitate posting this because the wait time isnt that bad, and I dont want to mess that up. 🙂 But they deserve a positive shootout. Good job, AAA!

S/O to Kody.. I recently had a roadside service call for a flat tire and when the AAA truck showed up he found a nail in the tire . He was actually able to plug the tire and had me back on the road in under twenty minutes. Not to mention, his arrival time after me placing the call was just as fast. I cannot begin to tell you how satisfied I am with this membership. Again... Thanks Kody for your AWESOME customer service during the field call.. You Rock!!

I like going to AAA to get maps and tour books. The people are very nice in showing me where the maps are the I want, so I dont have to look forever.
