Our experience was awful. The team didnt seem to communicate well with each other or know what they were doing or confidently answer our questions. I bought a new phone but they installed a new sim on my old phone so it messed up how our service was set up. We were in the store over 3 hours. Switching from Verizon was a mess. Way more complicated than it needed to be. Fortunately the store in GA helping my mother-in-law was much more competent.

Ive been to several Tmobiles, but never have I had an experience that has made me want to change service till the day MJ helped me. The way he spoke to me, when he did, was so beyond condescending. For the most part though he spoke only to my husband despite the fact I was the one coming in with questions and to upgrade my phone. When I asked about the promos the way MJ explained them made me so confused and annoyed as he continued to explain even after I said I understood. He only stopped when my husband said we got it. Because of him, we ended up leaving without doing anything, and now we are seriously reconsidering our plans.

I am absolutely pleased with the service I received today. Devin Taylor was absolutely a joy to interact with; he was attentive, understanding, and helpful. I have not had any better service. Take it from me, a former Verizon customer, theres no service like I received today. I didnt feel as though they were selling me a product but building a relationship to continue in aiding the process of giving the best quality of service. WAY TO GO T-MOBILE DOWNTOWN SUFFOLK, you truly are the real MVP!

I was dealing with MJ today at the store, and I could not have been more unhappy with my service. He was so very uninformed with all INFORMATION or questions I had. He had nothing but attitude and was joking around with other co workers the whole time rather then helping me transfer my services.

Customer service was great! As soon as i walked through the door, the sales Rep Dev greeted me and was very helpful with my needs. I loved the music and vibe/atmosphere of the whole store. Every employee treated me with respect and didnt belittle me into thinking i know nothing.

Totally loved the service. Devin is the best. We were switching from Verizon and updating our phones. The phones were a better price than Verizon, plus it was a BOGO. Our signal is better and we have faster connection than Verizon for about half the price. Thank you T Mobile.

One star only because there is not a lower rating to give. Every experience in this location has been a bad one. I was lied to regarding the sign up, transfer and buy out processes by multiple employees. They messed up the sign up process by pulling my number before finding out my phone was still locked on my old carrier putting me in a state where I could not pay off my old phone and unlock it. Which meant I had a number ported to t-mobile but no phone to use it on. Their suggestion.. go to wal-mart and buy a phone to use. What? Then after calling a t-mobile rep online to complain the rep online apologetically informed me that t-mobile would not pay off my phone and let me use it on t-mobile.. I would have to buy a new phone with t-mobile and turn in the old phone. I had explicitly asked about this on multiple visits to the store before committing to the sign up. I went in on the following day to ask for a loaner phone and to resolve the conflict between what I was told on multiple visits and what the rep told me on the phone. During the visit as I was talking face to face with 2 in store reps one of them kept turning around so her back was to me to whisper things to the other rep talking to me! I could not have been more irritated. I went to AT&T and ported my numbers back and returned to shut off the t-mobile accounts. I got a refund and closed the account in the 10 day money back guarantee time frame... then 3 months later I received a collections notice from t-mobile for 250$. All of my interactions with on the phone t-mobile reps have been great... but avoid this store.

I just switched from Verizon to T-Mobile and saved a ton of money. I did read all the reviews of this particular store before going in, but I had no choice... I had to go to an actual store so I tried it. When I went in there, it was a ghost town so I had three of the employees helping me all at once which was a godsend because I was having major phone problems. Jenna, Dani, and the guys name I dont remember now that began with the letter A were all fantastic! I really cannot say enough nice things about them. Nobody made me feel stupid about my phone, which in my opinion Verizon does that to their customers. I had Verizon for 16 years before I switched to T-Mobile just last week and every time I went into a Verizon store, it was the worst experience and I always dreaded it. The three TMobile employees were super nice and even saved me money in the store and called customer care who refunded me for something. My young daughter also mosied around touching the phones and the employees were really nice to her and didnt say anything about her roaming the store. And before I went in that day, I had to call the store for a couple of questions and I got the guy the first two times and then one of the girls afterwards and every time I called, they were really sweet and told me to come on down and that they would take care of me. Im really glad I did go down there because they did take care of me. My T-Mobile service might be off to a rough start, but at least they were there to help me.

By far the worst experience I have ever had with a phone company. I also made the switch from At&t to T mobile, spent over 200 dollars with this company, just to have my credit damaged from At&t due to their phone being traded in without being bought out. This company has lied to me every step of the way, and now I have currently been without a phone for 2 weeks. I purchased a cheap Tmobile phone from a friend, but my SIM doesnt work due to the supposed upgrades done by the company. The cheapest phone T-Mobile offers is 100 dollars, and you guessed it, its a freaking flip phone. Not sure how a company can get away with robbing their customers, but now I am forced to pay 175 for an insurance phone, 150 for an upgrade, or 100 for a flip phone which I dont have at the moment. Im from Arkansas where Tmobile is constantly pushed off the network by At&t so the entire time Im on vacation, Im without a phone. All this company want to know is how much money can you spend, and if you have no money, you will be without a phone. I wouldnt refer this company to my pet hamster.

Recently purchased a brand new Samsung Galaxy S7. Product was defective after use over 3 days. Manager Jenna would not honor a trade in and was very unhelpful. T-Mobile did give me another phone under warranty. Managers need better skills.

Finally, a reason to write a good review! Kudos to the staff and manger at this location. My experience with AT&T has been horrible to say the least. I am committed to remaining with them for a short time, but was actively seeking info to make an informed decision about which carrier to continue with for my cel service. Happened upon the TMobil store at 1217 N. Main Street and was very pleased with the knowledgeable staff, the courtesy I was treated with and most of all,the managers efforts to make my shopping experience a great experience instead of one I normally dread. Buying cars or phone service are my two most unfavorite things to do. Jenna was polite. clear and presented good information for my consideration in making a decision. When I left the store, I didnt feel like I had been put thru the wringer. When Im able I will make the switch to TMobil.
