Came in needing to have my front brake pads replaced knowing it was only the pads and not the rotors. Being a woman coming in alone I am astutely aware of the stigma of being profiled and being taken advantage of. However I explained to Rico the situation and that I was sure it was just the pads, had already gotten a quote and needed to stay within the price provided. He was professional, and intelligent and quickly confirmed the diagnostics and met me right where I needed financially. All while throwing in some humor to keep the wait light and fun. All work was done to my satisfaction and I am confident my vehicle will transport me safely to Colorado to move my daughter. Very pleased with my experience overall. I will be back.

They did not fill the brake fluid up, test drive and put the rim on wrong. I watch them put 2 quarts if fluid back into the truck. They argued with my husband they did. The tires were not put on correctly. HE HAD NO BRAKES! Very unprofessional. Corporate will be getting a call.

TONY was real professional @ informative the service was on time the first time for the front repair. The second time took a little longer for the rear it was done on Sunday thought it wouldnt take as long with the appointment but it did . He needs a little more help on that day I guess. I’m impress with the level of service I received at the Brake Check #532 store. After my second visit they made me feel as a loyal customer already. They pulled out my information from the system within seconds and called me by my name. They assured me that my problem will be taking care of to the best of their abilities with a prompt response. It took from 8:50 am to 2:00 pm for changing rear brake, left rear rotar only and alignment. And even after the service, my alignment was worse than what I had originally. Car swaying to the left more. I really wish I did not have my alignment done here. After paying for three year warranty, now I’m scared to come back again for alignment.

A few years ago (2019) I took my truck in for brake repair. They never got it right even after taking it back two times. I had to take it to Christian Brothers to get it fixed right. This Brake Check SUCKS avoid at all cost.

Ask for Seth! He is an excellent, knowledgeable guy with an open manner. He explained my options in detail to get my alignment done correctly. My car needed an adjustable bolt kit that the dealer wanted big bucks to install. He saved me a bunch and showed me all the work when the car was on the ramp.I am definitely coming back here.

My appointment was at 12 on Sunday. I dropped my car off at 10:30 to take advantage of my ride home. Go back at 2:30 and my car still parked in the same place, so they guy says come back at 5 and that’s the time they close. Go back at 5 and my car is sitting in the bay still not fixed. The guy says give me 45min and you will be out. 2 and a half hours later(730pm) I’m just now leaving. Very disappointed!!!!!! Poor poor poor.

Seth the manager is great! The guy is honest and told me about a 20% off coupon when he didnt have to! I got my alignment done today and he even took me back in the shop to show me what they were doing. Seth and his tech Zach did a great job and really did care to do the work right! I came in for an oil change/filter replacement and asked what the wait time was. The guy at the front told me it was 20 minutes but they wouldn’t be able to replace my filters because my truck was a diesel and they didn’t know how. Ok fine, no problem. 2 hours later, they pull my truck around front and tell me it’s done. I go out to my truck and there was black greasy handprints all over the hood (my truck is white) and oil spilled down the front of it. I didn’t say anything and I got in my truck and started to drive away and noticed there was grease and oil ALL OVER my steering wheel. I understand being busy and stuff but to not even take the time to wipe up your mess from the outside and inside of my truck? I will not be returning.UPDATE:The store director called my cellphone and apologized for the actions of the staff. He even paid to have my truck detailed to clean up the mess at a place of my choice. His quality customer service was much appreciated.

Got an oil change the other day. Heard a scraping noise. Finally realized it was my gearbox splash guard rubbing along the ground because the mechanic never but the bolts back in. At least the oil found its way into the engine, hopefully

Today I went to check my cars brakes and make sure everything was working the way it should. As you know, the safety of our family is my priority. Today I was helped by Ken and Seth and they were very professional. Seth asked me to come inside the shop to see my brakes and explained everything to me. My car has been making noise and he explained that it was no safety issue at all. He told me that the brakes were still safe for another half a year. He could have easily up-sold me and taken advantage of the situation, but his transparency and honesty were greater than selling me a service. These times have been financially difficult and i appreciate the character that both gentlemen had. I will definitely be coming back and wherever i go i will definitely recommend them. Thank you!!

On August 22nd I took my truck in for a front alignment, brake check review and rotors resurfaced if needed. Advisor Seth A. Baklik informed me the rotors did not need to be resurfaced, but the brakes needed to be replaced and recommended bleeding and flushing the brakes. I approved the request for brakes along with the front alignment. A day later my husband notice the receipt stated Customer declined rotor resurfaced. I called a couple of days later to ask Seth to have this comment corrected/removed he told me it could not. When I asked for a regional number to escalate my concern, he told me to look online and hung up the phone. I made the decision to drive to the location to request this correction, thinking the line was disconnect in error. Again Seth A. Baklik refused to correct his misstatement nor was he willing to add another comment correcting the misstatement. When I asked for the number to the regional office he instructed me to go on line. In both cases I asked he confirm his refusal to do both requests. He declined and asked me to leave or he would call the authorities. I encourage him to do so and told him I HAD TIME TODAY. It appears he changed his mind. I called another Brake Check location where they confirmed SETH took some shortcuts in the system resulting in the misstatement and provided me with a regional number. Ive left a message for Janell, the regional supervisor so lets see what happens. I recorded the interaction to pass on as needed. Seth is rude and is not a representation of the Brake Check motto We do it right.

I had a fantastic experience today at Brake Check. My technician named Cam, was thorough and detailed. He answered all of my questions and did an outstanding job servicing my car. Jonathan the manager was also professional and helpful. I will recommend this location to all my friends and family. Most car places try to up-sell everything. Most places would have tried to convince me that I needed pads and rotor resurface. The staff told me my pads were fine and didn’t try to sell my pads I didn’t need. Very satisfied.

The guys did a good job and at a far price and are courteous, however it took an extremely long time because they were understaffed or took on to many clients. 7.5 hours for a set of rotors and breakpads and oil change.

I have lifetime alignment on my car. However, they told me my car needed some work done on the control arms before they could do the alignment. They gave me an exorbitant quote. I decided if I was going to pay that much, Id rather have it fixed at the dealership.I returned a couple days later (after the repairs) to have the alignment done and they told me that the warranty had expired because I chose to have the dealership do the repairs instead of them (which no one told me about). Id have to pay the full fee to have the lifetime alignment reinstated. I find this policy ridiculous. It suggests that Brake Check can do a better job repairing vehicles than the dealer where I bought my car. I dont blame the people working there because theyre just following policy. I called their corporate office and the lady I spoke to basically told me out of luck until she could see my records. What a joke! I paid to have it reinstated because I didnt have the time to come back another day just to have a 20 minute alignment done. She was pretty rude and argued that they couldnt guarantee the work that the dealer did. Seems like a scummy way to ensure youll do all your repairs through them.

***SCAM STAY AWAY!!!*** I scheduled an appointment on 01/28/2020 at noon for a lifetime wheel alignment, and was told that I needed wheel bearings and a CV Axle. They refused to do the alignment unless I had the parts repaired at this location, and if I went somewhere else it would void the warranty. I went to kwik kar in pecan grove 1832 FM 359 Richmond, TX 77406 and have been told that the wheel bearings and CV axle are perfectly fine. Unfortunately there are shops whos employees try to pressure sale in order to generate bigger work orders. Even if it means being dishonest and ripping customers off by selling items that are not needed. This is absolutely INFURIATING!
