Being new to the area I didnt know they are closed on Wednesdays but there was a truck in the parking lot. Turns out the owners stopped in to let there children use the bathroom. Even know they were closed the owners George and Taylor said we could come in and browse. We wound up buying a Speed Queen washer and dryer. The prices were the best around and the delivery was fast. The owner himself and a new trainee named Bryce installed the appliances. Two of the nicest guys you would ever want to deal with. Clean, meticulous, courteous and left my property the way they found it. Great job by Preferred appliance on Old Trolley Rd in Summerville!!!!

I got a Maytag washer and dryer. George and his trainee delivered it to me. They were quick and very efficient. They communicated with me an hour before they got there just like they said they would when i bought the set. George pushed my delivery to the first one of the day so i could get to work in the afternoon. I live in West Ashley so they had to travel a little bit of a distance. Great customer service!!! It took them less than hour!! Awesome!

We have had a great experience so far. Unlike the big box stores, they actually have appliances in stock and fair prices. George greeted us as soon as we walked in . He was very friendly and did not put pressure on us . After seeing their large selection of appliances, Taylor, came to help us. She is very knowledgeable and helped us put together an appliance package . We chose to go with separate brands, she made sure all of the stainless matched . She was great to work with . We are expecting delivery today . Hopefully that goes as smoothly as the rest of the process has been. We do highly recommend Preferred Appliances Sales and Repair.

I highly recommend Preferred Appliance! I looked all over for a whirlpool fridge and with the pandemic...everything was either out of stock or I was told to check back mid/end of June. I checked with these guys and they had what I needed (brand new) and for a very affordable price. Not impressed at all. Walked in, saw a couple of employees standing at the register, they looked at me, but said nothing. I walked over to the gas ranges, stood there in front of one I was interested in for about 10 minutes, no one came around. Decided they didnt care, as I walked towards the door, employees looking at me, never said a word. Kind if sucks for them, because I was prepared to buy today if the price was right. I wont be back.

Nice staff but man do they get you on prices. I bought a coil for my Samsung dryer. Got home put it on with my dryer torn apart in the hallway. Then notice the plugs to connect was loose and had to basically bend/crimp them into place. Out of curiosity I looked up the part number off the bag I paid 63.00 dollars for to come to find out they gave me an 11.00 dollar Frigidaire coil 💁🏻‍♂️.I understand a store front has to have some type of mark up for profit but not 6x the typical amount.Only reason for the extra 2nd star is for the helpfrom the gentleman explaining how to put it on.Thank you sir.

Brandon came out to fix my washing machine and let me know that my repairs fixed it and all we needed to do was to reset the computer to accept the new parts. I asked him about my ice maker not working after I paid another company $500 to fix it. He knew that the wires were broken before even looking at it! The other companys technician was incompetent! As a home inspector for 21 years I cant speak highly enough of Preferred Appliance! Will be recommending them to all of my clients who need repair.

Super helpful. Came here for a dryer. Bought one at a reasonable price. When we got home, we found out our breaker box was the problem. We replaced the switch in the box and our old dryer worked. Went in the next day and they gave me a full refund for the new one that never got delivered. Thank you guys so much for everything. I just bought a washer and dryer so I dryer so I cannot say how its going to work yet. But After going through a miserable time at Multiple Lowes I was so frustrated and a gentleman told me about tell me about preferred appliance And told me I can walk out with my washer and dryer today Lowes told me we couldnt get one until September. And added horrible customer service with it. They were friendly courteous and made sure we were happy walking out the door I was telling everybody about this place.

Wanted Speed Queen washer and dryer, bought them on Monday and got them two days later. Kyle called early to let me know he would be here shortly for delivery. He did a fantastic job, was fast and efficient. Got the old machines out to haul off, new ones in and installed, turned both on to make sure everything worked ok. A real pleasure.

After many years, the icemaker and water dispenser quit and the refrigerator began flooding, thus so did the floor. I sent an email since it was the weekend and a phone call when the business opened. Both were successful at reaching the proper person and a very pleasant young man came to troubleshoot and give us options. We shall see how this story ends as we are waiting on parts to come in.(Update) Here it is, two weeks later and we are still waiting for the part I guess. No word from Preferred. Dropped on star.

My mother who is disabled and on oxygen and I along with my disabled daughter who is in a wheelchair went to this place and we completed the application for financing my mother was approved for almost 2400$ we where assisted in looking around at the refrigerators and when we came to one my mother liked we asked the lady what the price of the monthly payment would be the sales woman then told us that the way the finance company they worked with made there monthly payment amounts was when my we called them and told them what kind of payment she could be able to pay told us that my mother would be able to set her own payment amount while we where at the counter completing the process we asked several times what the monthly payment would be and each time she told us that she did not know that information and that we would have to call Acima the finance company and tell them what she could afford we thought this was strange so we asked her how something like that works she told us that the company they worked with was trying to help people during this pandemic and that they where allowing people to set there own payment amount as long as it was over 100$ monthly and that there was no set payment amount that my mom could pay what she could afford my mom was grateful for this and thought she was being blessed during hard times well she received a email the next morning saying her payments would be $477.00 a month and that is completely insane we called the finance company and they told us that preferred appliance lied and that they have never allowed customers to make there own payment amount and said that we should have been informed of the payment amount by them. We called preferred appliance and told them we wanted to return the fridge and they said that was fine and that they would call us to have someone come pick it up they didn’t call back I tried calling several times they did not answer I called from a different number and when I told the person who answered who I was they hung up. I RECORDED THE LADY TELLING US THAT WE COULD SET OUR OWN PAYMENT AMOUNT ON AUDIO BECAUSE I FELT AS IF SOMETHING WAS NOT RIGHT AND I HAVE ALREADY CONTACTED THE FEDERAL TRADE COMMISSION TO FILE A REPORT FOR CONSUMER FRAUD. This is wrong and they should not do things like this to people my mother is disabled and she can’t afford that type of payment that’s insane payment amount if we would have known this we never would have gotten it and now the finance company is set up to do a bank draft every month on the first of the month. I WILL BE PRESSING THIS MATTER UNTIL I GET RESULTS AND SOMEONE IS IN JAIL FOR THIS BECAUSE IT WRONG TO TAKE ADVANTAGE OF PEOPLE ESPECIALLY DISABLED PEOPLE WHO DON’T MAKE MONEY BUT ARE ON A SET INCOME THIS COULD CAISE HER TO BE IN SO MANY PROBLEMS FINANCIALLY THESE PEOPLE ARE THE WORST AND I WILL NOT STOP UNTIL THEY PAY FOR WHAT THEY DID.

I was pleased to see what we needed in stock when everywhere else was saying the ETA was June 14 or August 10. Kyle the delivery guy was super. He gets the job done in a short time and has a great attitude. I would use Perferred again.

My evaporator fan motor went out on my samsung refrigerator on May 21st of 2021. I called Saturday morning for the part they did not have it which was fine no one did so I ordered it they told me it would be in on Tue. I called on Tuesday at 400 i was told they had the tracking number from FedEx and it should be there by 8 but they close at 600. So i said should have it Wednesday i was told yes. I call Wednesday afternoon and what do you know they are closed on Wednesday no one told me. At this point i was over it and call DL appliance they had the part. I picked it up and put it in. Thursday came and gone with no call then i called on Friday and was told oh yes the part is right here i told them to send it back as i could not wait a week for a part. Someone will call me in a few min to get me my refund. I had to call back at 5 to get my money back. Preferred appliance has terrible communication and zero fallow through. I would not recommend this shop at all.

Great experience at Preferred when I was in immediate need of a washer and dryer. Taylor was very knowledgeable. 48 hrs later George had installed both W and D in my home and I was back in action! I was impressed with the store and service and would certainly shop at Preferred again. The only hiccup was an increased delivery charge because of my distance from the store.

The salesperson was very knowledgeable and explained all pluses and minuses of the various machines. There was no pressure to purchase any particular machine and the decision to buy was strictly our own. I thought I was on my way to the recycle center with my 27 yr. old sears chest freezer and stopped in Preferred Appliance to check out their inventory on new freezers. George said he would take a look at it and 15 minutes later had it running while it was still in the back of my truck!! He changed an override switch and didnt charge a dime!! Last week my husband and I purchased a new refrigerator and deep freezer. The following week we came back to Preferred Appliance because our dryer went out as well. We spoke with George and he recommended having one of their techs come out and diagnose the issue. Christian came out to our home diagnosed and fixed our dryer the same day. He was very professional and well mannered. I know our days are numbered with our dryer and as soon as it is done we will definitely go back to Preferred Appliance. Store was very neat and order. They had great selections and very good prices. We went the Frigidaire stainless steel oven. The service was great and everybody was ready to help. If you’re looking for great appliances and great prices this is the place you definitely have to go. FYI We went to Lowe’s and saw the same stove for $150.00 more and that was their sale price.

This was the 3rd appliance that we bought from Preferred Appliances. The sales staff are knowledgeable and friendly. We Bought a refrigerator for our garage on Saturday morning. This was just an extra fridge to keep drinks and extra food in. In the afternoon it still wasn’t cooling. I Called the store at 4:30 and the owner himself came to look at it. Made some adjustments and told me he would follow up on Sunday.Sunday came and it still wasn’t cooling like it should. Their technician Christian came out to the house and made a small adjustment to a baffle and it’s working like a charm. This is the way to run a business. Great old fashioned customer service. They stand behind what they sell. That is why Preferred Appliance is my go to store when I need appliances.

Went in needing a new stove, window shopping, really. Well,, so of course I spotted a super nice Samsung stove, brand new, and a pretty good bargain. We live outside of their delivery area, but made a special trip just for me. Super nice folks! Thanks yall!

All of my appliances died within a 2 week period and I was devastated. My husband stopped in to see if we could afford to replace all of them at one time and walked out with a new Refrigerator, Double Oven Range, Washing machine and Dryer under budget! Purchased a washer and dryer set and was set to have it delivered and installed. Got a call from Kyle and he talked to me about his plan to deliver it and we worked it out due to work. He went the extra mile and delivered it once I was off work when he had already finished all of the deliveries. My washer and dryer buying experience was easier than i ever expected. The ladies in the store were nice and helpful. BUT Kyle the delivery guy was Hands Down, the sweetest. He was very informative and made sure he answered all my questions. He even took the old set away for me and did an extremely nice job getting everything in and out so fast.

I wanted a Whirlpool refrigerator for the garage to replace my 15 year of Whirlpool fridge that I purchased new. The price was very reasonable for a used side by side. It was delivered a day early and they took the old fridge. This is my go to place for used appliances and they give a 90 day warranty.

Had a good experience the first time I bought from here the second time was my only day off the delivery guy was supposed to be here before 2 pm he did not show had to cancel my sons dentist appointment. I called at 2 to see what was going on and the lady said they have nothing to do with the delivery. I asked how that was possible if he works for you and she got loud and talked over me !!!
