I am so thankful to have met William and Bryan! Both of them were very professional and helped me to get exactly what I needed! They definitely have amazing customer service skills and smiles on their faces! People like this will be the reason why I return to Rent-A-Center! Waiting 2 months for merch they promised.. and they double charged me.. they domt care. The management are self righteous arrogant and not efficient.. sad. Also refuse to refund.. dont go here.. ever!
Worst experience ever they will take advantage of you if you don’t have sense. Provided me false information about a change to their policy that was never made to scare me into setting up auto pay on my card that they didn’t legally have on file. I never gave authorization for them to save or have my card on file. Then harassed me on my due date like my payment was late or like I was someone who doesn’t make his payment or answer my phone. DON’T DEAL WITH THEM save you money and buy cash or go somewhere else the headache ain’t worth it. I have a good friend who’s a good attorney and also stat rep I will be consulting him about my experience
The employees are rude and they will harrass you on the due date of your payment. I have good communication with them and I have never missed a payment. They want to put card on file according to a new policy. They provided false information regarding my account and even stated someone came in the store sating I do no live at my address. This is a horrible place to deal with!! The employees do not know how to conduct business professional. The harrassment is ridiculous, my attorney has been informed regarding this place.
I had a wonderful experience there at the Summerville store on North Main Street. I wanted a desktop computer. Kiera made sure that happened. She was very professional and also we had some things in common so that made it even better. The manager was also very professional. They both let me know when I would be receiving my computer and I did receive it in a timely manner. I would shop with you guys anytime!
I placed an order online last Saturday or Sunday. I was told I would get contacted by the store the next business day. I never heard anything. I contacted the store on Monday. Let’s just say I’ve been back and forth with this one person for a whole week. Constantly telling me I will get a call back but never did. Finally I just say cancel contract. I no longer want to be a customer. I’m so disappointed with the way I was handled and it should not be an excuse on why I was not serviced properly whether it was online or in store.
Had a great employee Mr. Chris sent out to take our bedroom set back. Not aware of the flight of 17 stairs he had to carry it down he handle himself very professional. And he got the job done with not a problem. He did very well and I would recommend him anytime.
Recently moved to the summerville area and contacted summerville rent a center too purchase a few things and mrs jeanie helped me get everything I needed and was very professional and have awesome payment plan options deffiently reccomend especially if working on a budget.

Went to this store talked to a very nice lady and got a sofa and washer and dryer. Scheduled for delivery today between 1-3. I called around 3:30 got an excuse of them running behind which I can understand. Called again around 5 to hear an entirely different excuse, but they would be here! Called again at 6:45 for them to tell me it was raining so they cant take the chance of getting stuck that I will have to wait until Monday! I will be at work and my hours vary so this is ridiculous! Ive waited all day put all my plans aside for them and they completely did not care!
If I could give a negative 105 stars I would for the disrespect that I received from 2 hood rats from the West Ashley location that showed up to my home on yesterday. I had made an arrangement to make a payment on this Saturday with Tim the Store Manager who I learned was fired or sent to another location. I spoke to the female via phone because I was at work that stated I needed to call my store because she was helping Summerville out. I called and spoke with Greg the District Manager who allowed me to make my payment. Mean while my baby sitter comes home with my daughter and the white RAC female blocks her and my child and ask if she was me. The black RAC female decides to info my brother that I only owe $600 and that it is Tax Season and that I must want my daughter sleeping on the floor. I called my Main Street store and spoke with Monique or Monica she was new. She stated that Greg was busy and she would take my complaint. I advised her of the situation. This is unacceptable and not professional. They should be fired for not only being disrespectful but also discussing another customers account (sharing custormer info) with someone not listed on the account. No one has apologize to me or anything. I have been a loyal customer for 5 years and this was my worst experience ever. I will not return!!!!
A new Manager brought this RAC. And him and is employees are very rude and dont even know what there doing. Youll be wasting time and money here. Along with being treated like ur nothing!! Giving yall an heads up.
They are nice until you run into an emergency and need to make payment arrangement. Stuff happens!
Geeze! Where do I start? Went in for a bedroom suite, ended up paying almost $60 more than the original quote. I was told it would be delivered Wednesday between 2&4, at 4:30 when I called to see when theyd be here, they tried to tell me something totally different. Ended up having to go to the store, help the 1 man they had working load my furniture. When we got to my house, I helped him carry it in so as not scratch it up with his dolly. Called the corporate office, they assured me that Id get a call from regional manager, never happened. They called me every month 2-3 days before my bill was due to tell me my bill is due today.. I finally sent the furniture back and will take any future business across the street to Aarons where my mother is buying a washer and dryer and gets treated with nothing but respet..Trust me theres more I could complain about but I think you get the picture.
Very rude and washer does not work, been a week and still they won’t replace because I had and exterminator at the house on the same day they delivered. Washer was not sprayed only base boards. Just think where some of these appliances come from, other houses or apartments and you don’t know if they are infested, washer and dryer was dirty. Not impressed with RAC.
The new manager is very rude and unprofessional. I would not recommend doing business with this establishment.
Given the run around, with mis-representation of product offerings and availability. Lied. I have rented with R-A-C before and am familiar with the company. Very uneasy feeling in this store in regards to their judgement and behavior. This location is not recommended.
Rather buy than pay double to rent..hound dogs
