I had been wearing hearing aids for 8 years but was having difficulty again understanding conversations. When one of my hearing aids broke I went in to have my hearing retested, perhaps have the hearing aid repaired, and inquire about the new technology with hearing aids. Brandon Whitakers evaluation was very thorough and the time he took to explain things answered all my questions. There was no pressure to purchase new hearing aids...he simply explained how they could benefit me. In the end I purchased new hearing aids AND got the old one fixed (free of charge) as a back-up. But it didnt end there. There is close follow-up to ensure you are doing well (he called me the next day to see if I had problems!). This Optimal Hearing Practice is the real deal. From scheduling your appointmnet to picking the color of your hearing aids no detail is too small or ignored. If you have hearing difficulty there is no need to shop around...go see Brandon.

Initial Review - Very knowledgeable and excellent customer service. A little pricey, however it has been a few years since I last purchased hearing aids, so perhaps $2000 per ear is ok.Follow Up Review - After the 1st month, I was scheduled for a check up for the hearing aids. Again, excellent customer service. They cleaned my hearing aids, replaced the little end piece (all free), and made sure I was happy. They would have made any adjustments, but everything thing is perfect with the hearing aids. Every 3 months, I will go in for a free cleaning and check up. I highly recommend Optimal Hearing.

I was visiting from out of town and lost the dome of my hearing aid. I walked in and the young lady at the front desk was very kind and replaced my dome. I have never been in a hearing aid office so clean and bright and had the most friendlist staff. If I lived here full time I would become a full time patient with this office. Wish I could give more than 5 stars!

I have purchased two sets of hearing aids at the Optimal Hearing office in Summerville, South Carolina. The newest pair have an outside noise filter setting option that basically removes all extraneous sound so that you can hear what you are trying to hear more clearly. They can be also Blue Tooth enabled, where an App on my iPhone connects to them. Very nice option, which I use. The people at Optimal Hearing will clean your hearing aids every three months and provide an annual hearing test at no additional cost than the original purchase price. Some Health Insurance policies will provide some of the purchase price, my did. When there is a minor problem, they are glad to address it in a professional and friendly manner.

Optimal Hearing is terrific!! I, as well as my entire family, love my new hearing aids. My husband recently got his hearing aids at Optimal Hearing in Summerville, SC. Working with Brandon and his office staff was a wonderful experience. Brandon was very patient in explaining everything to us. He took his time and addressed all of our questions/concerns. We never felt rushed...he gave us as much time needed to be sure we understood the process. The results my husband is getting from having the hearing aids has changed his life and mine as well. It is so wonderful now to be able to have an ongoing conversation without having to shout! And he is much more aware of the sounds around him than hes been in quite a while. Could not possibly have enough stars to rate this company. From the Summerville office to the West Ashley office these guys are awesome and will bend over backwards to help there patience. My mother-in-law has been caring for her mother and unfortunately both hearing aids went out. Without hesitation the staff communicated quickly and efficiently to execute a plan so that my mother-in-law could have her hearing restored. I cant explain how much it means to me and my family that Veronica and her staff were so quick to jump in and help us during a very difficult time.
